I’ve never had a worse experience with an online clothing store. The clothes are nowhere near the value that Shona Joy is charging for them. I’m 5’8”, 120 lbs, with an hourglass shaped body. I look good in clothes that even a little bit of thought and care have been put into. But these $300 dresses I ordered were made of cheap, frumpy fabric, and were cut in the weirdest way I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t have paid $10 for these at a thrift store if I’d seen them in person.
When I tried to return them I found out that I was going to have to pay for shipping and that was ON TOP OF the $100 plus duty fee that I got hit with when the dresses arrived in the U.S. Seriously beware of this company. It is 100% a scam.
I ordered a $320 dress from this website. the price was already too much for a slip dress but I figured if it looks as good as it does online I'll suck it up. My $320 dress arrived practically balled up and wrinkled in a pouch and had a cheaper look in person than it did on the website. THE WORSE PART- You are responsible for your own returns. which you only have 10 days to initiate and you WILL have some trouble with there "click here to make a return" link. where you will get an error message saying your order cant be found. At which point you will be forced to email or call Australia and it will take 2 out of your 10 days for someone to get to you. IT GETS WORSE. when you take it to UPS to return this and get your 320 dollars back quickly, you'll find out that the cheapest shipping option is $125 dollars to send it back. At which point you will go to the post office and pay $30 but it won't arrive for at least 2 weeks and then who knows how long it will take Shona Joy to process the returns and give your money back. The saga continues but I won't be ordering from them again!
The worst customer service experience ever. They held my money for months, after paying import and then never receiving the good, then when I asked for a refund they only give a credit note. They were very rude and didn’t reply to most emails. Never ordering again from them.
