Price Match

Bought a frame at Hobby Lobby and unfortuately did not check to see if Michaels had it cheaper. Michaels was 1/3 the cost. I was told that there is no price matching with Hobby Lobby. So make sure you check the competitors!

Great customer service!

I received a picture frame I ordered online and it was damaged when I opened it. There was a big chip in the corner of the wood. I called their customer service line and it was super easy to get a replacement for free! The person I talked to was very helpful. I don’t even have to send the damaged one back which is awesome.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service - pure and simple! Firstly, I placed an order for some items that were available at my local hobby lobby store (an hour away) and expected my order to ship from that store as was suggested. Instead, it shipped from Texas through USPS via DHL!!! It has now been 11 days and I still don't have it. Secondly, it sat in Texas for 4 days going no where and doing nothing and has now been given to USPS for delivery. They charge you shipping for this appalling, who gives a damn attitude, service?? I have gotten orders from the UK in 3 days and these morons can't deliver domestically in two weeks!!!!

Horrible customer service

I purchased 2 items from the center aisle which has a 50% off sign posted clearly on it. It rung up at regular price so I questioned it, I was told no, it was not half off and that I had to read the sign. If I wanted it at that price I needed to come back and return it when it went on sale next week!!! Sorry Hobby lobby, I’m done!!!

Training is necessary

It started out with a young lady, did not get her name stating what I was looking for was over there and that would be her guess however, John walked around to at least try to assist me and at the end Julieth came over and put me to register. I am a customer service manager. I just feel that some people just need training. If they don’t know they don’t do. Just FYI for owners it’s OK to have people on the floor but if they are not trained it’s nonexistent. This is hobby lobby, route 1 iselin

Make Managers Accountable

I love having Hobby Lobby here in Columbia TN., or anywhere, until today, 02/06/23.
I visited to make a purchase twice today and both times checkout lines were so long, checkout clercks were so slow and untrained that I had to leave for other responsibilities after waiting 20 minutes both visits in checkout lines.
The most troubling thing was that an adult female manager stood and watched the situation both times without pitching in to improve customer service by operating an available 3rd checkout lane.
Come on Hobby Lobby, hold your managers accountable.

Store in Keene NH just opened so I…

Store in Keene NH just opened so I checked it out. None of the aisles are numbered or have a list of items in them. Floundered around for a long time trying to find what I wanted. The few employees were busy trying to help other customers find stuff. Check out was awful, nothing scans, the clerk had to manually input everything I bought and she had to keep looking at a sheet of paper for codes. Generic receipt with no descriptions of the items. It only states 'ARTS AND CRAFTS' $2,99 don't know how I could tell if I was overcharged for anything. Won't shop there again, prices higher than Michaels.

Management is horrible

Do all stores not allow their personnel to take breaks at the appropriate time-per law? Do all stores make their employees stay hours past the time they should have been clocked out/past when the store closed? Do all stores have their employees crying, having anxiety attacks, etc? Are all employees worked overtime and no relief because management won't hire more help? Do all managers tell their employees if they don't like a department, he'll move them to another department, but then doesn't hold true to his word? Do all managers keep putting more burdens on their employees because they refuse to hire more help? That they just don't care and have no compassion for how they are treating their employees? Do all your stores have boxes of merchandise blocking isles so you can't shop the store? How are employees to order and take care of their departments when they are constantly on the registers and never in their departments? Elizabethtown, KY needs new management! It disgusts me to know this is how my friends are treated there. I thought this was a godly company? You do NOT treat your employees the way they are doing!!!! Stockmen are climbing ladders without someone supporting them. That's against OSHA regulations. I could go on and on! The management, Justin and Cameo, are horrible individuals that are leaving their employees crying, wanting to quit, etc. Shame on you Hobby Lobby!

Poor Customer Service

I have never experienced such poor customer service! I was at the store on Saturday, October 22nd and spent $183.70. After getting home and realizing I was charged full price rather than sale price for fall candles I had purchased, I returned today, Monday, October 24th for a price adjustment. Upon presenting the receipt, I was told they would not adjust the price without bringing the physical item back to prove I had purchased the item. I spoke with the manager and her supervisor. All I was asking for was the price adjustment on 2 candles purchased at $13.99. I was made to feel like they did not believe that I actually purchased the items that were ON MY RECEIPT. These were supposed to be 50% off for fall candles and I was charged full price. After being told I couldn’t prove if I purchased fall candles or candles from the candle department (which I was told were 50% off) they would not do the price adjustment because that was policy. After researching policies on both the receipt and website, this “policy” is stated no where. I have never heard of needing to an actual item to receive a price adjustment. So much for customer satisfaction!

Hobby Lobby needs to have electric…

Hobby Lobby needs to have electric scooter’s for handicapped patrons who can’t walk to much, might increase sales. Wanted to go shopping with my wife today but couldn’t as I broke my patella 3 weeks ago and cannot walk around too much till it heals. Electric scooter would have been nice at the HL in South Naples.

Hobby Lobby online
I have had a wonderful experience with HOBBY LOBBYonline. I could probably spend hours shopping in store because I utilize Arts and Crafts as a creative outlet. What I found dynamic about the online ability to purchase is some very important products they sell in bulk at a very good price. Wood working projects and why I chose to search their online store in the first place. The wooden crates in abundance are sometimes bulky and become heavy and the way they shipped them to me was genius. The packaging and bubble wrap ensured no damage to my products. That is special. Not only did I not have to haul the load home, because of direct delivery, the items were on discount sale price and in stocks. Wonderful experience with them so much so, I can reuse the bubble wrap and sheets of paper packing, awesome!

Store #864 is Alexandria VA

Store #864 is Alexandria VA. Is unbelievable. They followed me and my 6 year old son around the store as we were shopping and accused my son of playing with a small item right infront of us. Also told me that I need to work on home training for my kids.

The store manager did nothing about the behavior of Niesha Minor after this was brought to his attention. They racially profiled us for no reason at all. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Don't order online with Hobby lobby

I had a horrible experience ordering online. I ordered a large wall decor that arrived defective. The nails along the bottom never went into the frame. It when through the art. They were sticking out and damage the art. Leaving pieces chipping off. it was dangerous to have around my kids . They immediately refunded me and sent me a return label. If you know Hobby lobby stuff is way over priced because they always have that 50% sale, which makes items the price they should be. Anyways, I wanted a replacement on the item so I don't have to wait for the sale again. But they ignored my email twice about getting a replacement instead. This item is so big that it doesn't fit in my car. That's why I ordered it offline and not purchased in the store. Apparently that is my problem not there's. They told me I had to take it to fedex. The FedEx building is 30 mins from my house. So I had to pack it up and have someone else bring it to FedEx for me since I can't get it into my car just for them to drive it 30 mins. All this for an item that should just be thrown away. I sent them pictures too.

So now I have to wait for a sale online again and hope it comes in better condition. After I get my replacement I won't order from Hobby Lobby again. The customer service was horrible. I'm really disappointed.

Frame Shop - No Longer A Happy Customer

Hobby Lobby Frame Shop - no longer a happy customer.

I have used Hobby Lobby’s frame shop for years. I typically frame acrylics on canvas using their custom framing, matting and museum glass. I have literally spent thousands in frames. Recently the experience has been less than positive. They apparently have gone through a change in ownership in the frame shop. My first experience under new management was to tell me I shouldn’t put glass over my acrylic paintings. I disagreed. They did as I asked (but with attitude) and did a beautiful job. Today I went to have a piece custom framed and was told they can no longer mat canvas paintings. I asked why and received a bit snippy “that’s just what management has decided”. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Especially when they aren’t arguing price! Guess I’ll find a new frame shop. Too bad. I would spend a lot of money in the store in addition to getting art framed. Guess I’ll spend it elsewhere now.

Awfully Rude, inoperative casher

I love to shop Hobbylobby as I have a lot of project and also have flower shop myself. I may say I love to pick up things from this shop. I just scared to death to go near cashier who supposed to help customer check it out, but i am not sure in this shop. As I have experience with S-304 R4 T-8261 LAURA D, 2310 MATTHEWS TOWNSHIP PARKWAY, MATTHEWS, NC 28105, HOBBYLOBBY today, normally, they are NOT KIND, NOT ANSWERED QUESTION, NEVER SHOW SMILE, NEVER TRY TO FIND THINGS that I looking for( sometimes lying. last year one worker said they not have white sunflower I already know they do), but they are talking between employ all the time, and standing there all the time. Laura was simply command one word "zipcode?" so I answered. And then I helped packing my flowers. I asked if she already checked stuff on the desk because I was not sure. I asked, asked, asked and looked at her, she was some reason very mad and try not to see me or not answered. I was try to kindly as much as I can help her to pick up stuff but she never appreciative, it was almost who supposed to help whom? I feel like she was just mad because discriminations, nothing more! It just normally have this kind experience this store. I know there lots of workers need for maintain shop but please have little more qualifying and sensible workers. If you not gonna help customer why you are in the shop?!

I love this place ❤️ I'm In a…

I love this place ❤️ I'm In a wheelchair ♿️ & you have plenty of room to turn around and I just love all the choices you can make I stay hours there at the least I try to. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't get the ride around travel in the bathroom unless I switched back to my wheelchair that would been a issue so I had to leave.the check out counter little lady was so sweet & helpful too.i still love ❤️ this store.

Many choices, great service

I went to find stencils for a project and I wanted a bit fancier ones than just your everyday simple ones. Not only did they have many choices but in various sizes as well. Both letters and numbers too!! It took a minute to find exactly what I wanted however they actually had them. The lady at the register was totally amazing and friendly. She was all smiles and helpful when my American Express did it's random security decline, where I have to run my card a second time. She just politely asked me to run it again and would I add the last 4 of my card number. She was so kind and non judgemental. I was grateful. Most places announce loudly that your card was declined and act like your trash and she was the furthest thing from that! She deserves a raise!!!
