BEWARE!! Terrible product and horrible customer service!
BEWARE!!! Direct TV is Terrible!!!
We recently made a change to Direct TV because we have always liked ATT. We were loyal ATT customers for over 25 years. Well, Direct TV is dragging ATT into the pits!
Shortly after installation, we were unhappy with the product offered by Direct TV. When we finally got through to them on the phone to cancel the service (with in 25 days) they charged us $500. They only give you 2 weeks to change your mind. They know they have an inferior product so they do not give you any time. For example, most companies (ie: Xfinity) will give you 30 days to change your mind, because they are confident they have a good product.
Direct TV is a terrible product, line up is cumbersome, remote is slow and the customer service is the worst I have ever seen! Customer service will keep you on hold of hours and then hang up on you if they have an opportunity. On my third call, the sales assistant yelled at me when I asked to speak to a supervisor.
Unfortunately, Costco teamed up with ATT Direct TV and have a sales person in their warehouses. This is surprising as I trust Costco, but will rethink their services offered going forward. I do not plan to ever use ATT again because of the experience with Direct TV and the Inferior product!
Just a warning - Direct TV is absolutely terrible!! They will steal from you! Thank you!
