buyer beware

I purchased some comics from Stands in January 2026. In March of 2026, I received some of the comics I purchased, and those were banged up in transit. I contacted Stands and was told that issue #1 that I purchased was sold out. (even though they allowed me to complete the transaction and charged me for the comic) I asked them to just send another variant as they had made 6 variant covers. CS claimed that the only versions available cost $50 and $100 respectively. (I had purchased a $4.99 option) I let them know that they still have $4.99 options listed as available for purchase on the website. Stands CS asked for a link. I sent a link and screenshots on March 10. As of noon on March 31, I have not received a response or a solution despite reaching out again via email and social media. I was even able to add one of the $4.99 comics which they supposedly don't have in stock to a cart and complete a purchase on 03/31. This is a bait and switch in my opinion. They also deleted a 1 star review. I was never offered a solution for the comics that arrived in poor condition. I also can't find any information on what portion of purchases actually goes to charity. That is suspicious in my opinion.

Fandom products - profits to charity

Fandom products, profits go to charity.
Love the items sold on this site, you can get some good quality products. They take a little while to ship internationally but that's to be expected I think. I like to buy Supernatural merchandise from here - I've bought several charms for the charm bracelet they sell, and various tshirts, all great quality.
Their customer service is very helpful too, they have an email address and they reply quickly, I had a technical issue with my account email and this was solved for me very quickly.

I ordered a shirt on 29 November 2023…

I ordered a shirt on 29 November 2023 and received a tracking number on 8 December 2023. After waiting two weeks with no update via USPS's tracking aside from 'Label Created- Package Not Yet In System', I contacted Stands via email and was advised that they have trouble getting packages from their warehouse to USPS. They then advised me that the information on their website that states that "in stock items will be processed and shipped out 2-5 business days after your order has been placed" was wrong and it actually takes 10-14 days.

As of 18 December, my order still hadn't shipped- I reached out and didn't receive a response until I emailed AGAIN on 28 December 2023 to check the status of my order. They advised that USPS likely lost the order (Duh).

A new order was finally set up on 5 January, but no tracking was provided. I followed up and was told that Customer Support would need to follow up with the company's shipping manager. They advised that did not have access to the shipping manager's information to provide tracking for the new order they had supposedly processed.

I finally reached the end of my rope and canceled my order on 16 January 2024 since I got tired of waiting and only receiving information when I reached out to the company- this is horrendous customer service. The only speedy process about this issue was my refund, which was issued immediately.
