The dresses are truly beautiful. For the summer, I purchased several made from rayon/viscose. Unfortunately, despite following the care instructions meticulously, they shrank significantly in the wash — by at least 10 cm. As a result, they became too short for me to wear. It is both disappointing and frustrating that the fabrics do not seem to be pre-washed or otherwise treated to prevent such considerable shrinkage. Friends of mine who have ordered from SHUKR have had the same experience: their dresses also shrank even though they were washed according to the instructions. Because of this, I am now hesitant to order from SHUKR again.

Website mentions orders are dispatched immediately for non customised items and total of 3 business days. I have waited 15 days in total and they haven't even sent me a tracking information or any other updates. Poor communication.

Once again Shukr proves to be a trusted modest clothing company that I love and respect. I just ordered two dresses. one is a dress I already own in a smaller size, but the size I have no longer fits me well(it shrank, which is somewhat understandable, and I also gained some weight).
The other is a dress I customized and they were incredibly accommodating, even helping me choose the best fabric for it. I'm so thankful for their stellar customer service. While there might be some delays in response time, the quality of the garments and their willingness to accommodate customizations more than make up for it. I changed my mind a couple of times throughout the process, and they handled it with such grace and professionalism.
2 things I hope for in the future is that they bring back some of their old fabrics.. like the Tencel-linen blend? The tencel denim maybe? and some other more natural quality fabrics they used to have. The other thing is to use pre shrunk fabrics or maybe noting that the garment would shrink ~ approximate amount if washed in hot water or dried on high. I like practical clothes and I don't like using cold water or hang to dry so that would be helpful.
What really makes Shukr stand out in modest clothing businesses is that it prioritizes keeping clothes modest, having ethical practices and making modern designs that blend well wherever a muslima lives.

Canceled my $600 Eid order without any reason. I only knew because the money went back into my account. It was things my daughter picked out, I think I ordered a thobe.

Imagine spending a couple hours with your daughter choosing outfits, and seeing her excited for the day her beautiful clothes arrive. Then having to tell her that the company we ordered from (because there’s no Islamic clothing stores here) canceled her order, and she can’t understand why. I guess it’s a good lesson to learn that you can’t even trust brothers and sisters in religion.

I wanted to order since a few years because I liked their 'East meets West' garments.

This year I ordered in the middle of month of Ramadan. Website said it was last call to be delivered before Eid.
And indeed, it arrived BEFORE Eid. So thanks for that.
Quality is nice, I could have customized the length a bit, but I only remembered there was a feature on the site afterwards. Maybe they should make it more visible on the website for better user experience.

Another important point is the difference between their .UK and .com websites, where exchange rates make products more expensive for Europeans than for UK residents (a difference of about 50€ for 3 items). This should be fixed IMO.

Customer service was available by whatsapp, which is another good point.

This company is truly terrible …To all the muslims who live in the u.s please do not order from them ..f.y.i i ordered my throbe march 10th never received a tracking number until 2 1/2 weeks later after me msg them several times then when it got here it was a 2x instead of the medium i ordered so now i have to spend a extra 100 dollars to get a seamstress to alter the throbe worst experience ever …once again listen to what im saying just go to a nearby islamic store or order one from the U.S .. order #10000063213

The worst company to ever order clothes from. Website advertised Eid delivery guaranteed if we order by March 13th. I ordered on March 6th and their excuses was on behalf of Aramex the shipping/tracking company has caused a “slight delay” slight delay when it is a major delay and a false advertisement. 3rd time being disappointed to their lack of professionalism. I will never be a customer of SHUKR ever again and I highly recommend you guys to never use them either.

Excellent online store!! Ordered a ‘Thick Corduroy Hooded Thobe’ on 6th March & it arrived on 14th March, made to order from Jordan. Very well made and a perfect fit, would definitely order from them again. Had a few doubts as there are some not so great reviews on here, but my experience was fantastic!!

Ordered over a month ago, was told tge item woukd take 3 weeks to amend and deliver. Now at week 5, have contacted them twice and been ignored.
Extremely unprofessional and unrealiable.

I love this company! Garments are well made, customer service is good, and shipping is fast. Nothing to complain about, really.

I always order skirts from shukr and it was good quality and heavy material , but my last 2 orders was not good as expected. The material was light and not good quality, I was really disappointed ☹️

Ordered 3 weeks ago and were supposed to be delivered before eid. No delivery, no response from customer service, no update on their website, just showing order processing!
What a disgrace for claiming to be a business when no ethics.

DO NOT ORDER - WILL NOT ARRIVE ON TIME.
Placed an order online and it's been nine days and it is still in "process". Contacted customer support 3 times and didn't get a single response.

They charge premium money for their clothes but can't afford to hire someone to respond to customers. Yeah, being an "ethical company" doesn't just mean paying your designers a high salary - it also means providing customer service and responding to those people who pay your exorbitant prices. Pathetic service. No need for your canned response - will never buy anything again.

I have ordered clothes from shukr last year before eid. Amazing experience. This year I ordered clothes, same style but in different color. Material was same, however stitching was not right, it was loose. I contacted them via email and WhatsApp, there is no response. And they hadn't refunded my duty yet. Not happy this time.

I am a loyal customer. I must say that even though they post many pictures of clothes and videos as well, the clothes always appear more beautiful in reality. Never disappointed.

If I had the option to give shukr 0 stars I would. I have ordered clothes expecting them to arrive before Eid as stated on their website. The clothes are arriving after Eid and are not within 5 working days either. We now have no clothes to wear and no time to do any shopping. There clothes are not sold from the UK although they claim to be a UK based store. Do not trust this Shukr. Customer service is also misleading and unhelpful.

Update: Shukr ensured the clothes were delivered before Eid, although I was sent a text stating it would be delivered after Eid. Which was quite distressing. Its was also difficult contacting customer service as you have to create a ticket and wait for a response, which can take time. Also the clothes arrived only a day before Eid. My top was the right size and fitted, but the trousers were too long and I didn't have time to get them adjusted as it was given so close to Eid. The clothes are extremely expensive but generally good stitching. The experience was pretty stressful.

Fast shipping beautiful product.
The thobes are a perfect fit, the colours and fabric, everthing couldn't be better.
My husband is very happy with the product and would buy from them again.
