I have been reading a lot of reviews …

I have been reading a lot of reviews from people who are saying they have been ripped off.The first thing is this you are buying of an auction not a retailer and you need to check how you are bidding and how much you are willing to pay they have the cost with fees on before you bid which a few years ago they hadn't. They also let you go and view the lots they don't bid on the lots I have been a customer for 6 years and have had many bargains .I have won lots at £1.00 and sold on for £150.i do agree with the admin fee being way to high .I do rember them saying they would look at lowering it .as the saying goes buyer beware .

Inconsiderate

Inconsiderate, time wasters

Got invited for a job interview, I confirmed my attendance over email, they never got back to me confirming my appointment, even though I messaged them within the time frame they stated. On the morning of the interview I went to call them with the number they gave on Indeed, turns out it was a fake number! "Next Steps Kindly confirm your attendance by replying to this email or calling us at 0161 123 4567" I got their number on google and the person on the front desk rudely told me that they've only just come back to work and to just come in if i've been told to come in, which I explained this hasn't been confirmed, she put me on hold for five minutes and said yeah I've spoken to the manager just come in. This should not have taken an applicant to have to chase up with them twice, and for a company to provide a fake number to contact them on is extremely unprofessional, stay well clear. Extremely disorganised and inconsiderate!

Steer away from these lot. RIP OFFS

Steer away from these lot.
Purchased items that have option to collect or post and they won’t accept collection because postal makes them more money even if you are a stones throw away. And the costs or what they call ‘lot processing’ is way more expensive than the costs of the item you are buying. Thieving bustards and it’s all in small print. Won’t be dealing with them again.

Awfull manager shouting and trying blame you ‼️‼️‼️
Use to bought sofas from this auction, one day we went collect 2 sofas with lots of scatterback cushions (9 in totall) guy brought the sofas with 1 extra cushion which we didnt even noticed, next day we had not nice call from side manager shouting on me that if we wont return that extra cushion he will blocked me from the auction (living 80miles from the auction side that is first and sold the sofa straight away next morning that the second, wasnt even possible bring back that 20cm x20cm cushion) really shocked about this situation and his bad manner which ends with blocking me from Simon Charles‼️‼️‼️

I recently purchased a pallet of 15 monitors and TVs from Simon Charles, and every single screen was cracked. I understand they state on their website that items may be damaged, but this level of damage is unacceptable. If you’re reselling products, there should at least be some quality control or basic testing to protect buyers. It’s frustrating and feels like a complete waste of money. Be cautious before purchasing from here—you’re essentially gambling on receiving usable products.

I purchased a cosmetics bundle then…

I purchased a cosmetics bundle then received tracking from them with a royal mail code that doesn’t exist- its a made up number and when i have complained i get exactly the same to the letter automated “personal “ response saying they have just checked it for me and its a fault with royal mail. No products received…basically its just a scam. £30 wasted … dont be sucked in nothing is free these days!

purchased 2 rolls of carpet which are…

purchased 2 rolls of carpet which are ok . but the rugs i purchased are not the rugs in the pictures and the way they ave been stored are not fit for use . it will take years for the creases to come out . booked a collection slot and was still standing in line for 1 hour . the only nice thing was the tall guy serving customers he was so fast compared to the other workers. . not use again

I bought a Chanel bag for my first purchase and it turned out to be counterfeit and were sorry that sometimes they let things through without proper checking. Then I bought another chanel bag with box and dust bags and then guess what it is counterfeit again. I certainly won't be buying from them no more🤬🤬🤬🤬

Very dodgy company indeed from the …

Very dodgy company indeed from the person listing it hiding the actual colour of the product( They'll list or show the item in most expensive colour)to the receptionist and IT department a total conning company. No empathy or morals from this company. They making 100s of millions yet robbing the customer every given opportunity. They also up the bids themselves. Don't expect Any honour from thieves. They are hiding behind terms and conditions using every trick in the book to rob the customer.

Very helpful staff

Very helpful staff. Dealt with a lady whose name I didn't get she was very pleasant & then Scott who was very friendly and helpful.
I've seen Scott assisting customers before and he must enjoy his job because he appears to be always willing to go the extra mile.

Counterfeit Fake Clothing

Well having bought from these a couple of times, this time I looked at there designer clothing bought a Stone Island Polo Shirt, to find out it's FAKE / COUNTERFEIT. having found out top brands register there designer logos through a website CERTILOGO, this allows anyone to verify the authenticity of the clothing, I done this and it came back as FAKE / COUNTERFEIT. NOT HAPPY. NOT ONLY NOT HAPPY THE RESPONSE FROM SIMON CHARLES WASNT FILLING ME WITH CONFIDENCE,AS THEY SAID AS THEY TRY THERE BEST TO AUTHENTICATE DESIGNERS ITEMS THAT SOMETIMES FAKE/ COUNTERFEIT CLOTHING AND OTHER DESIGNER ITEMS WILL GET THROUGH THERE SALES, FOR ME THATS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND NOT ACCEPTABLE, for me I needed to inform trading standards on this matter, the truth is if they try there utmost to not allow counterfeit/fake items to get through then why did Simon Charles not doing the simplest thing and done what I done which within the polo shirt there is an attached label reference CERTILOGO as mentioned before you enter that unique reference number that is only unique to that specific item of clothing if it's authentic it will tell you and no doubt give you a certificate of authentication, IN MY CASE IT GIVE ME A REPORT TO SAY ITS FAKE / COUNTERFEIT, and that report actually gets sent over to the retailer in this case SIMON CHARLES, I'm guessing they don't do these checks and therefore find it unacceptable.

To add to this having also bought a hoodie again with all the tags on etc this was a F1 MAERCEDES BRANDED HOODIE, I am actually in the process of contacting F1 MERCHANDISE to find out the authenticity of this item also.

Luckily I purchased through a credit card which gives me added protection to get my money back.

Simon Charles says they have destroyed this Stone Island Polo Shirt, let's hope so, cause I'm.keeo and eagle eye out incase it does pop up.

NO MORE AUCTIONS FOR ME YOU ALWAYS LOOSING YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU START. One experience I can't forget, won't ever go back. It makes you wonder what else is going through the sales mmmm.
