If you want to learn trading, Simpler is the place.

They have several traders, trading different ways, using different indicators and with different risk to reward ratios. But they all set up the trades in front of you or post with clear explanation. Simpler is the place for you to explore and help you to find the trading style works for you. I personally like Sam Shames’s style a lot, he built his own indicators and is able to explain them in a way I can understand.

Also they have great supporting staff. Lee in the trading room(s) and Michael Christifulli on the emails.

If you want a service just feeding you trades 5 days a week, it is not. But if you want to take the opportunity to learn and be independent one day, Simpler is the right place!

For those concerned it's a scam (there are so many out there...), it is not. The marketing and constant upselling often make it feel that way, unfortunately; for example, they tend to cherry-pick successful sub-sets of the trading history for their pitch material, and there is a ton of up-selling of indicators and other classes and subscriptions. Services are not cheap, and it would be better to have comprehensive logs of trades (recommendations, alerts, where they got in and out) categorized by trader and strategy for a fair assessment of how the approaches do across different market conditions. That's not consistently available.

That said, these folks clearly work hard every day. All sessions are live, and they're all recorded and available. Be aware that what works for one will not be what works for someone else, so it really is important to sample and find an approach compatible with your own cognitive style and what your schedule is. If an approach is not working out for you personally in a short time, it might be that a given valid approach isn’t returning well at this moment in time (probabilities playing out), or that's it's just not a good fit for you personally... psychology is much more important than many services would want you to know, and Simpler really emphasizes this. However, knowing the difference is where those more comprehensive trade history sheets would help.

Finding your fit is important. For example, most of their traders do an alert style where you find out as they are getting in, or right after, which means you need to be on top if it in real time and available to react to the alerts to get comparable entries and exits. If that's your interest, most of their traders work that way. If that's tough because you have a day job to attend to, others (notably Sector Secrets Mastery with Raghee and Lorna) approach it like teachers and mentors, giving you plenty of heads-up for the set-up when you have a few minutes, and always with the "why". This means you are as likely as they are to get a good entry. I have also learned that I prefer their approach of teaching over blind alerting, and the way they model the same core principles over and over again- sticking to their approach every time and prioritizing mastery and consistency over punditry or "just take my alerts" as some of the others do.

I'd give 5 stars if the marketing and upselling were dialed down a bit, and the comprehensive and current trade logging were in place. But the service is legit and helpful, and I have renewed long term.

One thing that stands out to me about Simpler Trading is that the traders are using their own money to make trades. This means they don't tell you to do something they wouldn't do themselves, literally. I'm still learning so I've been careful to scale in on smaller levels and prioritize the trades that work for me. I also like that the endgame for them is to provide an atmosphere of mentorship rather than teaching you theories that you won't remember.

I have been with SimplerTrading for years and been in many of their Rooms. Every one of the Traders are very professional, sincere and serious. I always feel comfortable with their advice. Obviously, I filter it and only use it if it fits my style of Trading. The last 6 months has been a rough market, but I know these experienced Traders are giving me their best advice. When this market stabilizes again, I know I am with the right group to help my trading outperform !

I enjoy learning you Raghee Horner! She is an excellent mentor, with her you'll master how to buy calls and puts.

Simpler has provided everything I need to take my trading journey to the next level! The instructors are incredibly transparent about wins, losses and psychology. And the tools and indicators are invaluable. They’ve paid for themselves many times over!

Last year I subscribed to the options gold room, the small account mastery room, sectors secrets mastery and TG’s “ moxie” room. I spent a lot of money on these subscriptions thinking I would learn how to trade and make money.
While the sector secrets has been good and worth its money I found the TG’s moxie room only lost me a ton of money so I cancelled any renewals for that room.
I was still hopeful for both the rooms that John Carter spends time in which are the gold room and small account mastery(SAM) room. In both rooms I lost a ton of money following John Carter’s trades. He enters the trades at the highs and thus ends up in a loss pretty much the next day from which he does not recover. Then instead of realizing that his entry choice on the trade was very poor and trying to manage the trade he exits at close to near max loss.
The only thing that John carter is good at doing nowadays is selling you yet another indicator plus course as he simply has not made much money since summer last year. His one off winning trade is cancelled out by his majority losing trades.
He predicts the market to crash and so shorts the market as it was making new all time highs. He only buys Tesla now as it is about to crash so he loses big time on his current Tesla trades. Plus he was predicting new all time highs in the markets for January yet the markets kept going lower.
His performance since summer last year has been abysmal at best and all he can do now to make money is sell vulnerable people yet another course that will NOT help anyone make money.
John Carter needs to get some integrity and stop charging people to lose them money.

This year I ONLY follow the sector secrets mastery room as Raghee Horner at least is able to trade in a way that makes money!

For those worried about another Snake Oil sales pitch, Simpler Trading is too busy delivering trading results to enter the Snake Oil market. From the actual services they offer, the pricing and the assistance and service given to us, the user, it truly feels like a combination of white gloved concierge service and a familial desire to see you achieve your goals. The trading indicators are invaluable, and the breakdowns from the professional traders give you the foundation needed to build, while showing you the proverbial "house" (or proverbial mansion) they have already built, and how they did it. I wouldn't be where I am today without John Carter's Mastering the Trade, and Simpler Trading.

I have benefited greatly from Simpler Trading education, especially Charts & Coffee and some really educational free webinars (just skip the ends w/ promotional stuff). I love the Squeeze Pro and TrendSpark indicators. But this review is for Small Account Mastery. I joined late November 2022, started with 10k and am down to 5.5k, which would be lower except I skipped the last few trades which would have added an extra $600 in losses. I don’t mind losing in trading, as that is sometimes the “cost of doing business,” however, the alerts mostly went to max loss and didn’t have clean setups. The winners were few and very small.

Also, I understand why the account was reset to 10k to start the year with a fresh mindset, but then in January 2022 there were over -2k in losses and the account got reset to 10k a second time in early February. JC is calling this one reset and treating this as a 10k account as if January losses never happened. The only good thing I can say is I did learn a lot about options.

The majority of the setups broke basic rules, we mostly got in trades at 2ATR when the move was over and then they went to max loss. The few winners followed his old rules like get in at the 21 ema and exit at 2ATR. Also in the room, I have yet to have a question answered, I have to go to the training room and one of those traders are happy to answer questions. I learn more there than in S.A.M.

I have used a lot of different systems. Having been a trader for 20+ years, I have had to learn some new "tricks" given that this trading environment is VERY different than 20, even 3 years ago. TG Watkins and John Carter are my uber favorites but all of the traders at ST are humble, kind and really interested in our success. ST is a fantastic outfit of people. I am so glad I have had the chance to learn from them!

I have not been profitable with any of several programs, indicators, options are anything else. Sorry to say but it has all been a waste of money. Not only did I pay for the programs and indicators I also lost a lot of money following and trading them.

There is a huge amount of activity that goes on in the Options (Gold) Room, and it can be tedious to scroll through all the alerts. It would be really helpful if there was a master spreadsheet showing each trade, who recommended it, entry conditions, status (open or closed), target exit, etc.

A summary page showing performance for each ST team member would be a nice bonus!

These guys are experienced, truely professional..at the phone to help and answer all questions..a big bang for the buck...many traders to follow to match your style..thoroughly impressive thus far

I've been trading for a year basically on my own.. it is tough! But simpler trading is the support I need to continue making my trades. Its already helped with risk management and the resources are plenty. The traders are all awesome (find the one that works for you).

In terms of the company, I've dealt with Isaac and he has been completely honest, patient with me. He really does take the time to answer my questions and FULLY explain them. This shows CARE!

It really does seem like this is a company that will be around for a little while if they continue with as much care as they do with their clients. NOW I've only been on here for less than a day so this may change BUT I am typically very good at reading people and their intents (whether to just get money or if they actually want to help). And this place, really does seem like it is out to help end not to take your money... for $7 trial month... are you kidding me??? $7!!! Case closed.

Please continue what you guys do Isaac and please dont stop helping traders like me! haha thanks again you guys!

Simpler Trading is the premier trading company. ST has the best indicators and as many webinars as you have time to participate in and the webinars are fun to watch. If you are a novice or an experienced trader there is information for you. I only wish I would have found Simpler Trading before I spent thousands of dollars on other software and useless advice but I am thankful for what I have learned from Simpler Trading.

I am pleased to write this review about Simpler Trading, a company that serves clients by sharing their knowledge of markets. They have a team of world class Traders lead by John Carter who excel in both trading and teaching. Their support team has an outstanding Technical service wing generating proprietary Indicators and a Customer and Sales service wing who passionately care clients. (I am deeply impressed by the excellent service rendered by Benjamin Kelley). This company helps their clients by imparting the basic tenets of trading in an easy to follow writings, videos, seminars and workshops for nominal cost or for free in some cases.Their Mastery programs are exceptionally helpful. They cover all aspects of trading useful to both novice and experienced traders with a higher emphasis on options and futures. I strongly feel Simpler Trading is a go to place to start and grow trading skills.

Simple and Trustworthy.

There is a lot of trading hype and there are a lot of trading scams out there. Simpler Trading is the opposite of that. They're normal people that are excellent traders and teachers. Their classes, tools, and trading rooms are super helpful. and I'm happy to recommend them. I also wanted to mention that they have super customer service. My Account Executive Isaac is phenomenal, and everyone I've interacted with at Simpler demonstrates a high level of competence and a customer-focused attitude.

U serious? The only reason this company, or whatever they are, exist is to sell indicators. And get this, indicators that are based of off some pretty standart ones. Their trading courses are blah, just attempts to sell more indicators. Their services are pretty much Raging Bull quality now. A lot of hype and no real delivery. But I gotta give them this, they are smart in their marketing.
Funny stuff is they say (and I mean that character John Carter) they mainly teach how to trade and the for that part, all they do is sell you a bunch of indicators that you should follow. JC however does not follow them. 2021 he shorted the market most of the time with no real indication, just some timing (as he calls it) bs and gut feelings. Did not end well. I pulled the plug when I was about 30% down. Good thing I did so I started, again, on my own and already recouped 20% of the capital. And yes, they claim 2021 was up but that is another bs. He started 2021 with 38k and managed to make 12k profits before resetting to 10k in May. Since may he lost half of that 10k so technically he made money, lol, but % he was down at least 30%....whereas the SPY was up 30%. Good job!
Did I mention he is away 1 week every month traveling. With those subscriptions sure, he will travel, why not. And we are left with Julia...omg, don't even get me started there. I am not sure how she got into there but clearly she has no idea whatsoever. Anyways, just stay away for the goodness of your account and your money. There are far better, less expensive ways learn how to trade and be part of a successful community. And don't bug writing to JC, he never gets back. True leader!
