The team replaced our fascia’s and guttering in February - despite the weather they were excellent. The quality materials and work have brought many compliments & enquires as to who had done the work - would highly recommend spending a bit extra for such quality work
The works was carried out in a professional and considerate manor. Mil & Terry worked in a clean manor using dust sheets in the carpeted areas.
Had new windows fitted replace our old ones.
Quality of windows are really good and have noticed that our house is now warmer.
The window fitters Craig and Graham did a really good job and finished them off to a high standard.
CREW: On-Time / Worked very hard / Worked until it was dark / Worked in the cold / Worked in the rain / Skilled / Knowledgeable / Polite / Considerate / Cheery / Low-Maintenance ( just tea and coffee needed) / Finished on time (often in the dark) Every speck of rubbish cleared
Thank you Dan and Steve
SALES: Service Excellent / Communication Excellent / Friendly / Honest / Good Advice / Great Price / Quality Products…
Overall: 11/10 and a great experience during a week of home improvements
Facias, guttering, downpipes replaced. No hard sale tactics. The wooden boards were old and weathered badly, guttering had a leak and it got to the point I could no longer move and climb the ladders to paint and do repairs. The sales team and installers were very good, work done in a day and no mess left.
Ordered 7 replacement glass units,5 for a Bay Window,2 for Conservatory.
Darren ( Sales) was very nice, professional.
The office staff were extremely Rude and unhelpful.
The Surveyor called Craig came out and was very nice.
I was told by Craig it would take a maximum of 2 weeks as it was just glass. 6 weeks later Craig arrived to replace the glass to find he had not been given the 4mm tape that was required. He apologized and returned the next day to complete the job.
I went to clean the outside of the windows yesterday to find damage to the UPVC which is as a result of not carefully removing the glass. Whilst Craig and his colleague were both very nice, the damage to our UPVC frame should not have occurred. More time, care, attention and training the damage to our UPVC would have been avoided.
This company is notregistered with FENSA.
I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
CLEARVIEW GLAZERS in Peterborough are FENSA Registered and cheaper than SIMPLY ROOFLINE.
Window fitted by them a few years ago failed, and they were impossible to contact to discuss. They’ve subsequently called twice over the last 12 months to try to sell me more windows but as soon as I explained one that they’d fitted previously had clouded up, they promised to call back to help resolve but failed to do so both times. I also recently discovered that they failed to clad underneath a bay window they replaced the glass in at the same time as the other window which I had to pay another contractor to fix.
We found them on a general cladding website called mycladding.com They looked good on Checkatrade, but we realise now that the original poor score on Checkatrade will then be followed by fixing the problem and 'could you now possibly review your Checkatrade scores' with the expectation that they will now be improved.
There was big-time leakage around the cladding, and very poor workmanship.
Getting these problems fixed was the longest of nightmares. Ugh.
