As an investor

As an investor and trader, I need a more robust screening tool to efficiently identify high-potential opportunities across a large universe of stocks.

The current screener is helpful, but there is significant room for enhancement—particularly in making it more intuitive and in strengthening the quality of signals through more advanced and customizable technical indicators.

I strongly believe this platform has the potential to become a much more powerful decision-making tool with further refinement, especially in terms of usability, filtering precision, and actionable insights.

Hi Max,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We understand that change takes some getting used to. Over the last ten years, we’ve evolved from a simple research tool into a complete Portfolio Command Center, so we’ve refreshed our look to finally reflect the sophisticated, end-to-end platform we’ve become.

Your suggestion around offering multiple visual styles or themes is a great one. Please note that we now have a beta version for the light theme. You can select and enable this in your User Profile dropdown menu.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Not a portfolio level management tool

This tool does not properly recognize preferred stocks. It doesn't allow bonds, treasuries, or money market funds to be tracked in a portfolio, which limits its utility as a portfolio management tool.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your feedback.

Please be advised that the Simply Wall St platform is largely focused on equities, and so, unfortunately, bonds, treasuries, and money market funds are not covered on the platform. For the same reason, these can’t be added to your portfolio either.

About preferred stocks, we only cover stocks that are listed under the equity section and are included in the calculation of per-share values, which are essential on our Analysis Model (https://github.com/SimplyWallSt/Company-Analysis-Model/blob/master/MODEL.markdown).

If you encounter a preferred share that is not available on our platform, it is more likely that such a preferred share is being reported only in the liabilities section of the balance sheet of the company.

We understand how important it is to have a more complete portfolio view. Your feedback has been noted and shared with the team as we continue to improve the platform.

Feel free to reach out to us directly anytime at support@simplywallst.com if you'd like to share further on how you'd like to track these assets.

Thanks,

Looks great but is somewhat disappointing

It's a great looking tool with lots of data behind it. But some things may disappoint you.
I could not connect my brokerage account to Simply Wall St. I can select it (Consors), but then it says "not supported yet", stupid me only found that out after buying the first year.
I could not import my portfolio, the only option I found was to import all transactions (may be my fault), which I don't have.
Entering the portfolio manually worked, but some stocks I needed to add (and remove) several times, because most have 3-7 different variants for the same ISIN and the additional information that helped me to find the right one only showed up in the portfolio.
There are some minor errors that will surely be fixed. But the one thing I really don't like is, that the charts mostly have no proper Y-axis. You have to move the mouse over the curves to see the values.
In some cases tables would be the better (first) choice. You can get a table of the underlying data in most (all?) cases.
Anyway: I will give it a chance and maybe I'll try to contact the DEV-team to make some proposals, AFTER I know more about it.
