Still heard nothing about my query to replace my item . Received it but it’s the wrong colour - have emailed them and phoned them and written an earlier review hoping to prompt a response at least but nothing ! Think it’s time for trading standards .
The greater majority of negative reviews here are when stuff has gone wrong ( their fault or the customers) so there’s obviously an issue with customer service and I have lost my £400+ . The many many many fewer positive reviews are very very very largely when nothing has gone wrong . Think about shopping elsewhere - things go wrong when shopping online and consistently good customer service has to be worth deciding where to buy from .
I purchased a Franke sink and kitchen tap totalling just under £600 and both items showing in stock and available for immediate delivery. After placing the order and paying online, I was immediately informed the tap was not in stock but offered alternates that were all budget alternatives at a fraction of the price or I could wait for the ordered item but with no communicated expected delivery date.
They went ahead and delivered the sink but this was late and the box was opened and contents damaged although fortunately, the sink survived.
I replied to their email and rejected their suggested alternatives, none of which remotely matched the initial tap in style, quality or colour and requested an indication of the delivery and if this delay was excessive, a refund but after 2 weeks, received no reply.
Throughout this delay, both Sinks.co.uk and their sister company Taps.co.uk continued to advertise the tap as in stock and available for next day delivery.
I called their offices and waited in a queue for 30 minutes to be told there were further delays and that they have a practice of illegally advertising items as in stock when they all know they are not so demanded a refund, a refund they are now delaying in returning.
This company is openly breaking the law with Bait and Switch sales methods. Their customer service team are extremely unprofessional and the goods look second hand either due to opened packaging or filthy products.
Avoid this company and its sister companies at all costs because you’ll pay premium prices for second hand quality products or budget replacements.
As I type this review, they still have not refunded my account as requested so save yourself a lot of grief, shop elsewhere.
The beauty of a well made ceramic sink🥰
What a great service !! After sales care is superb thank you
Shame I can’t leave no stars.
Absolutely shocking service, I ordered a sink to be fair turned up next day. Then the horror started, inadvertently I ordered the incorrect sink I needed a left hand small sink called them and was told 25% return charge. Had no choice but agree to pay, was charged for new sink. 4 days later no sink called them told supplier busy will despatch today for tomorrow delivery. We will see.
Re cancellation.
I was told at time of order old sink to be collected Monday/Tuesday called today to confirm no cancellation had been sent to supplier, soo say email sent but not received, so my refund will take even longer, asked to speak to manager On leave asked to speak to owner told to look on company house for them.
This company are a bloody shambles never again will they get any of my money.
Do yourself a favour buy your product elsewhere.
Ordered a rangemaster sink on Tuesday told it would be delivered Thursday or Friday, no sink, now Monday, no tracking or anything, explained to them I needed it as work tops were being fitted, they even confirmed would be delivered in Friday, they take your money to get a sale but then tell you anything once they have your money
I ordered a sink costing £300 3 weeks ago now. After asking when delivery would be I was told w.c ,…. (Last week). Didn’t arrive and no tracking provided either. I had to quickly go to another supplier as I had no kitchen sink, I emailed to cancel the order and be refunded. Now another week gone and they are not even replying to emails
Absolutely awful. I bought an expensive Perrin and Rowe tap and it was delivered looking second hand, ripped box, crumpled instructions. After 10 days I got a reponse from customer service to say it must have been the delivery people (lol). Since then no contact from them. Avoid, even if you have to pay more elsewhere.
Quick delivery , but unclear information about product
I have now ordered two high range Frankie taps from Sinks. The service has been first class with excellent savings. The 1st tap I arranged to pick up next day from their Tetbury depot and the later on 24 hours delivery. I can’t rate this company highly enough.
Good price very good all round service
Will be purchasing from this company in the future
Sink arrived damaged. Sent an email but have heard nothing. Tried phoning but told would have to wait for email reply. Sinks.co.uk said that we should have inspected product on delivery and that this was advised on an email they had sent us. However, on checking my emails I found the email had arrived one hour after the driver had delivered the sink. I phoned sink.co.uk to advise them of this and was told I would have to send email and await contact. As I have still not heard I have contacted my bank to request chargeback. I have provided them with copies of the emails I have sent and I’m now waiting for my money back, if this fails I will take to ombudsman as a matter of principle.
If you do buy from this company use a credit card as at least then you are legally protected under section 75 and if goods arrive faulty your credit card company will sort refund .
Very easy. Asked about approximate delivery time and if item is available before ordering. Received within 2 days. Great service and communication.
Sinks.co.uk intentionally do not update their stock on the website, leading users to believe a 3 day delivery time. Once they have your money, you will then receive an email saying that they are having supply issues and you can either wait (in our case) 12 weeks for the product you have ordered, or offer you a choice of a completely different finish. Once you ask for a refund, you are suddenly ignored for a long time as they like to hold onto your money for as long as possible (assuming they enjoy the interest). Oh and the product page is never updated to reflect the 14 week lead time. Very shady tactics.
Your response only reinforces the concerns raised in my prior review. Stop digging yourselves a hole.
1. “Company procedures” do not override statutory law.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a refund must be issued within 14 days of either:
• receipt of the returned goods or
• receipt of evidence that the goods have been sent back
(whichever is earlier).
You were provided with proof of posting and later proof of delivery (you could’ve checked proof of delivery yourselves as the info was on my proof of postage receipt to track). Any internal delay in “booking in” returns is an internal operational issue and cannot lawfully extend the refund deadline. It is not the customer’s responsibility to chase your incompetent warehouse to comply with the law.
2. The refund was not issued “promptly”.
It was only processed after I explicitly cited the statutory deadline in writing. Until that point, I was repeatedly told conflicting information, including that the item had “not arrived”, despite delivery having occurred 10 days earlier.
3. The £12.50 deduction is not agreed or lawful.
My order confirmation and VAT invoice clearly state:
• Shipping: £0.00
• Shipping method: Free Delivery
At no point during checkout did I agree to a £12.50 deduction. When I contacted customer services, I was told returns collection would cost £70, not £12.50. I therefore chose to return the item myself at my own cost.
You cannot retrospectively impose a fee that was not transparently agreed to at the point of sale.
4. Risk during return transit is irrelevant here.
The item was delivered safely and located at your warehouse. Any suggestion otherwise is a red herring. The issue was never loss or damage — it was delayed internal processing. Stop trying to make customers feel they’re taking a risk choosing to return items with reputable couriers because they don’t want to pay your extortionate fees.
In short:
• The return was compliant.
• Delivery was confirmed.
• The refund was delayed beyond what is reasonable.
• The refund was issued only after escalation.
• The refund was then issued short-paid.
Customers should be aware that if they need to return an item, they may be required to chase repeatedly to obtain a refund that should be automatic, timely, and complete.
I stand by every word of my previous review.

Bought Franke Doric Triflow tap system. Delivered v quickly, within one day of order. Then, when plumber discovered a manufacturing fault in a triflow component, Sinks were very responsive, and quickly available in person by phone. On sending photos, they agreed to replace the whole order, and that arrived within 24 hours. Very helpful overall.

I ordered a tap which came and was fine but I decided I wanted a different one because of a detail that I didn't like. It took several emails to sinks.co.uk to establish that their supplier (Rangemaster!) refused to allow me to pay to return the item myself and that I would need to pay £38 for a collection, despite it being a relatively small item that could be sent by Royal Mail for about £7. They told me a date for collection and they never came. So they told me another and they never came. This honestly happened about 10 times during which I had to stay in or risk leaving the tap on the front step. There was then a query over whether it was outside of the returns date for a refund anyway... I just wanted the whole affair done so was begging them to let me just send it back myself (at far less cost) and they wouldn't allow it. Finally on a random day I happened to be in on, with no warning someone did came and took it away. 6 weeks later I found myself chasing sinks.co.uk for the refund. They then said they couldn't do this until they knew it had been received back - I considered this to be absolutely nothing to do with me bearing in mind the return had been arranged by them. Several emails later and I finally have my refund (minus the £38). At no point did it seem that sinks.co.uk were willing to advocate for me, their customer - they should have issued the refund far earlier and managed their own refund directly with their ineffectual supplier having been let down by them repeatedly. Basically it's a nightmare because sinks.co.uk are a third party - so you are beholden to 2 sets of returns policies and have to wait on them as middle men to communicate between you and the supplier with whom they seem to have zero influence.
Ordered a sink and waited a week with no delivery update. I had to call them myself only to be told it was discontinued. They never bothered to reach out. Currently waiting for a refund. Very poor experience—check the reviews before you buy!

Don’t use this company!!
Faulty sink delivered in August, have been emailing and messaging with no response for months. Spoke to someone on phone who said they would respond in 24 hours, this was November. They don’t answer phone since this conversation. Taking legal action!

I ordered a tap which turned out to be the wrong one. That was my mistake. I wanted to return it……what an absolute joke of a process. The process started in mid October and I finally got my refund in early January. Be wary of the outrageous admin fee for returns. In short, be very sure the product is right else look forward to a long process. Never again.
