No thanks, pass on this

I had sixstar before and it was fine. I wanted to renew some time after it lapsed, so I did. I bought it through their notool partner and all I got was notool network optimization. Didn't want that, just the iptv. They sent a user and password. I asked them how do I get the iptv and got a refund. Tried it again,(i had service before so I knew it worked) and got user/pass. Emailed for the URLs and crickets. Emailed again and asked for a refund, and they gave it to me and said "We cannot help you, do not come back." LOL NO PROBLEM JERK. I'm happy I even got the refund, at least I think I did. Will check tomorrow. It's too bad, I liked sixstar when I had it. Seems shady now.

Bro I’ve been with this service for 3…

Bro I’ve been with this service for 3 to 4 years and they never fail me. I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan and I watch every game with no buffering. I turned on HBO and Showtime and left it on all night No buffering came back home and it was still playing. I even watched Terence Crawford and Spence fight no problem. When I needed something they help me. Six Star Tv is the truth. Thank you.

Do Not Believe A Word Of The Negativity

- I am jumping back in here about 18 months after I wrote my original review.

I feel that I owe a duty of care to do so after having originally made such a glowing review of sixstariptv.
As of now, in present day,I would not want my review to sway anybody into choosing sixstaritpv.

AS happens with IPTV services, they come they go.
Back then, I gave my honest and heartfelt, endorsement of this company. Back when I knew that to be the truth and was my lived experience.

I believe approximately 6 months ago the site got hacked. The hackers tried and may even still be trying, for all I know, to give the illusion that the site is still being maintained as per usual.

The story they were going with was that a team mate had passed away, leading to the remaining crew/team being locked out of over a third of the channels.

We were reassured that they were working on a solution, that would be forth coming any moment.

My subscription to sixstartiptv happened exipire during this time period too. SO I tried resubscribing, but kept having trouble with my payment details constantly not being accepted [probably a phishing attack I am guessing??]. As I tried payment via our 2 cc cards, but couldn't subscribe so I moved on and found a new service to watch my shows on.

HOWEVER: I began having issues here and there with my CC being rejected when as far as I knew there was no reason.
We rang the bank and it turns "somebody" had made multiple attempts to use my CC details, attempting several purchases online and in person.
The bank had placed a block on the card for my protection, I figured that they may have both my cards details, so I had to cancel the other too, super inconvenient BTW.

So I CANNOT recommend this IPTV service today.

I'll leave my original review below for what it used to be worth. I was happy with it, at the time, when I wrote it.....................................................................

I honestly cannot believe my eyes to see so many negative reviews about Six Star IPTV. I know for a fact that they are lying because I have used the service for the past 18 months and it is without a doubt the best IPTV streaming service.
After years of dealing with providers where the channels are always buffering or skipping, or having IPTV providers just shut down with no notice just after renewing my membership,I have to pinch myself that this service exists and continues because it seems to good to be true.
They provide at least 2 full lists of channels and often 3 lists, so you can always find the channel you need or an alternative channel if required. They also have a HEAP of custom built apps to watch content on, some of which are honestly next level, far better than any paid service. This is practically no buffering, and when there is, it always turns out to be at my end and is fixed by clearing the cache in my device, restarting my streaming app, and restarting my router, works every single time.
I don't like to keep going on but everything those people are saying is the opposite to what my experience is. If I have ever had to contact support they are very helpful, respond quickly.
Yes, sometimes a service goes down, or the url changes, but they provide status updates on their website with the new url, and other relevant information if required. It is an incredibly run operation, which is why I am baffled that so many people have gotten away with leaving these fake reviews.
I actually feel sorry for all the people who have read or will read those fake comments and don't end up trying Six Star.
I understand exactly how it feels to be out in the google wilderness looking for a reputable IPTV provider, visiting all the sites, checking for recommendations, hoping not to get ripped off. Then these people actually stumble upon a review page for Six Star and it is full of false feedback!! Who operates these reviews, is there any vetting of the reviews to ensure they are genuine? All my mates use Six Star too now, and they've never had any trouble.

You truely are being misled, and I hope my review helps someone to figure that out for themselves. If you do join and you realise I am telling the truth, come back here and let people know, and help them get a fair and balanced review of Six Star IPTV so that everyone can make their own informed decision.

SCAM Company

Took my payment but never activated my account. When I emailed they told me the payment failed to process. I sent them a screen shot of proof and they finally refunded me. This is a 100% SCAM company

Absolutely terrible service and…

Absolutely terrible service and customer service. Tried to reach out to see why the service was so shaky and was sent numerous emails from them saying how absurd I was to even have to ask and why I don't already know the tricky solutions to the problems to their service. I was then badgers time and time again thru emails from a representative about how I was whining about the non service and was called arrogant and old. NEVER again with this company! Don't do it!

Happy now after a shaky start.

I did the 6 month subscription I've had the service for 4 full days and had a chance to play with it in-depth so now I'll tell you what I think....

On the first day it worked great and was able to watch UFC on Saturday but the next day the player buffered a lot and the Entertainment Guide was in and out. The movies and TV Series played fine but it seemed like all the issues involved the Live TV and it's Guide.

Personally, I don't think the service is crappy, they just need to provide a better player with a less glitchy interface.

This morning I downloaded Tivimate and the Live TV has been performing almost flawlessly. Channels load very fast now with little to no lag on startup, and the Tivimate interface is A LOT "cleaner" and "friendlier" than the one that SixStar provides.

So what I do now is use the Tivimate player for Live TV/PPV and the Sixstar Player for Movies and TV Series and have been having no major issues.

I do believe 4 Stars could be just a tad bit generous, but honestly, I'm very happy now.

Quite possibly the worst IPTV service…

Quite possibly the worst IPTV service I've used. Their tv guide doesn't match what is actually on, their customer service doesn't respond, and my email is now not known on their website, as if my account no longer exists. Thankfully I didn't sign up for very long as this seems a bit fishy. Refund was issued so I'll update to 3 star.

Stay away from SIXSTARS!

I had been looking for reliable IPTV service and found SIXSTARS rating quite high on one of review sites.
I signed up for a month, but the service never worked. I sent the image with an error message to SS, and they replied 'there is nothing wrong with the service, but will send you a refund if you want'. I am not newby and I clearly understood that that was fraud, and requested refund. It's been few weeks since then, and I am still waiting'. Stay away from these guys!

Horrible service

Horrible service! I reached out to support to ask a couple of simple questions so I could setup my accounts based on their terms and they cancelled my account saying they don't want my business! Stay away from Six Star they don't want to support their customers!

Very inconsistent

Very inconsistent. Sometimes it performs great and sometimes not, although my connection was consistent. Customer Service often doesn't reply at all. EPG is horrible and only works for a fraction of the channels. A group of sports channels I rely on haven't been updated the last 6 days. One of the services suddenly dropped a channel with no explanation. VOD buffers extremely bad on Service 1, but Service 2 works fine. A new series I was watching was suddenly dropped by both services.

I'm tired of spending more time troubleshooting issues and searching for programming than I am actually watching.

I've only used this IPTV service but

It's worked really well. I've been using it a couple of months now. At first I would have yelled scam as well when it took them over a week to get me my first login. They seemed to be having trouble at that time. Since then it seems to work really well. Some channels don't work very much but 95% do. You get 2 services for $6. The extra app they give you for movies is trash. (Or so seems to be for me). Works great with tivimate and smarters.
Recently they had an issue with one of the providers and I contacted them and they responded fast, even going back and forth on email.
Like I said I haven't tried other providers yet but I don't feel a need to try another yet. Lots to watch for the cheapest price I've found.
