Our wide range of courses include 3 Day First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, mental health first aid, and health & safety training. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a medical emergency or improve safety standards in your workplace, we have a course to meet your needs. We offer workplace first aid training at centres across Wales including Cardiff, Wrexham, Swansea, Newport, Abergele, Bridgend, Abergavenny, Rhayader, and Deeside. Alternatively, we can come to you to deliver bespoke certified training at your workplace for groups of six or more. We work with young people, employees, and communities across Wales to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone. Our trained volunteers deliver expert first aid cover at a wide range of public events, from sports matches to concerts, helping keep attendees safe. We offer transport services in partnership with the NHS, ensuring safe and reliable care for those who need it. Through our actions, we inspire others leading by example and supporting people to reach their full potential.

First Aid at Work course…
Completed the First Aid at Work course with St John Ambulance, and I found it to be an excellent experience. The trainer was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the course engaging with plenty of practical activities and real-life scenarios. The content was easy to understand, and I now feel much more confident in dealing with emergency situations.
The course was well organised, informative, and interactive, making it enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend St John Ambulance to anyone looking to complete a First Aid at Work course or improve their first aid skills. Thank you for such a valuable and worthwhile training experience!

Well presented course
The trainer on the 2nd and 3rd days was outstanding. He gave an in depth background to the course and was extremely experienced in what he was delivering.
I would recommend this particular course due to the content and delivery method.

The course tutor was welcoming and made the atmosphere comfortable. I practised CPR, the recovery position, and how to treat minor injuries. The course was interesting and helped me feel more confident and refresh my knowledge about first aid.

Great instructor
Great instructor - Dean. His relaxed demeanor made learning fun. Learnt loads! Venue has 2 toilets, a kitchen with fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. Enough parking spaces for the number attending the course.

My experience with St John Ambulance.
This was my second experience with St John Ambulance, from the start Dean was welcoming and throughout was very engaging. This course has given me information that I will carry with me for life. Dean turned what could easily have been a boring slide show into easily digestible information that will stay in my mind for a very long time! I could not thank him enough for the service he provides.
