Order that never showed up...

I ordered pizza via Skip from Bow Tie Pizza. Skip routed the order to the Bow Tie location 10km away instead of the one 2km away, but this didn't matter because it was being delivered. I ordered the pizza just before 5pm and by 6pm, the order had not arrived and the tracking changed from being picked up by a driver to another 47min before arrival. I called Bow Tie pizza who was very helpful and said the pizza was ready at 5:41pm with no driver assigned. I had guest waiting for the food, so couldn't afford to wait and had to go pick up the food. After all this, Skip provided only $7 credit on an $80 order which I had to pick up at a location 10km away instead of the closest one which was 2km away. I do not recommend Skip - unreliable service and bad customer service.

Skip the dishes has an automated…

Skip the dishes has an automated address system that is completely wrong. They blame you if the order goes to the wrong place, but you have NEVER typed in this address they populate. They only give you 50% back. Never use them.

Most stupid option EVER !!!!

Ordered dinner, received a phone call from restaurant saying it was a pick up order. Why order through skip if you are going to go get it?? The entire point of using skip is the delivery. Got a hold of skip. Nope can't change it to delivery... can't pay the difference. Oh they will cancel the order but you DONT get your money back!!! What a joke.

If I could select 0 stars, DO NOT ORDER SKIP

If I could select 0 stars - I would- Do not order. This prepay system is a scam platform for drivers. We ordered from skip the dishes for the first time- and last time on Saturday. The driver messaged me- saying he was waiting 25 minutes no food. And will I be giving him a tip. I did think that strange however I answered yes in cash. That was not good enough, he wanted to know how much!!!I said are you serious? He was as he replied yes. And informed me he only gets 6 dollars from skip so how much tip to bring the order. I called the restaurant directly he said no skip driver was waiting there.
Turns out he picked up the order- then messaged me for more money. Then here’s the best part- he kept the food. Marked delivered. And the next skip driver messaged me and said I know nothing about-Report it and you’ll get a refund.

A week later and a couple wait 48 hours for a review of what happened- and I’m wild. And down 120 dollars at Christmas! Great Family time- lesson learned- NO MORE SKIP THE DISHES!!

Missing item and abysmal customer service

Abysmal customer service. Decided to try this app as it is Canadian. My order arrived and an item (whole panzerotti) was missing, I messaged the driver right away to ask if perhaps a box was forgotten. No reply. I went through the app and indicated the missing item, and was immediately sent a bot email denying a refund for the missing item. I emailed support multiple times over the next few days and received no reply.

Given Up Hoping For Help from Skip!!!

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with Skip+ Membership, and I can’t believe how pathetic the customer service is! The help chat section on their does not work!!! Yet they keep telling me to use it to resolve my issue. I resorted to email and after 6 emails back and forth have now given up and cancelled my Skip+ due to horrendous customer service support.

I ordered items from dollaramma on skip…

I ordered items from dollaramma on skip for.my children to decorate a tree I just purchased and some last minute christmas gifts.for them as ive been sick. And the driver comfirmed the order with 2 hrs to get to the store in our smaller city decided to get there ten minutes before it closes and call me and nit knly could I not understand what he was saying he went ahead and cancelled my order and they didnt even give me an option if I want skip credits or to wait for up to 7 buisness days for my money back. Now i ptobably wont get my $200 dollars back until after christmas. I would have preffered to chance it again and have them redo the order today. I gave a 6 dollar tip for nothing. And the chat is not helpful at all. This isnt the first time I should have known better. And then the driber doesnt get any consequenses for not doing his job and leaving kids without a decorated christmas tree and some gifts for christmas. Like why accept the order and then go almost 2 hours later tonthe store to get my order. That is not ok and he should lose his job.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Like another commenter, I try to support Canadian companies, but Skip has made that impossible. I tried to give them several chances, but tonight was the last straw. I had an awful experience with my delivery, and spoke with 5, yes 5 different support people. 2 of which just disappeared mid chat— and was reconnected to someone else. Support just uses canned responses, and refuses to acknowledge or even read the issues you may have had. (possibly using AI now?). There is no accountability for their drivers, and they don’t give a sh*t about losing their customers.
I will never use their service again.
Do better.

Do Not Use Skip the Dishes!

We ordered two meals for about $60. They were never delivered. We contacted online support and were told they were sorry. "This is not the service we like to give." They offered a 50% refund paid in Skip the Dishes points and ended the chat. That is simply shameful--more like theft than real customer service. Avoid this company

Horrible delivery experience , poor application qaulity

After completing my order, it remained stuck on “processing” for nearly 10 minutes until I manually refreshed the page. Even then, the order status continued to glitch, showing “being picked up” for over 20 minutes, then suddenly switching to “driver on the way (2 minutes).”

The courier claimed he was waiting in the hotel lobby, but when I went down and waited, no one was there. The courier never called my phone, and when I returned to message him, the communication channel was already closed. The order was never delivered.

I had to reorder dinner through Uber Eats, which was delivered on time with no issues—highlighting how broken this platform is. When I contacted support for reimbursement, my request was denied.

This feels like a complete rip-off. I was on a work trip in Toronto and relied on this service. I will never use SkipTheDishes again and strongly advise others to avoid it.

Huge Letdown of Service
I ordered sushi for my husband and I and it did not arrive despite the text notifications that it did. I called the restaurant. They said the order had been picked up and to contact Skip the Dishes. The only platform available is online contact. I explained that we had not received our food and provided all the details they requested. They implied we were lying about this but, as "we were valued customers," they would refund us half of our order in Skip the Dishes credits. We are out $88 and the driver got a $7 tip for services Not rendered. This is our second very bad experience with Skip the Dishes where we have not received our food that we ordered. This company can keep their credits as we won't be using this service again or recommending it.

No customer support

They have no number you can call to get a hold of them, so I emailed them. They never responded, nor did they respond to a second email I sent. Their offers are also a sham; I got a 40% discount for sign-up, yet at checkout it was not there.

Bloody awful

Today, an order that was PREORDERED was picked up and then the driver took a tour of the city before delivering my order 75 Minutes late, I could not get any help from support. EDIT: I was given a full refund after my complaint.

Skip the Dishes, terrible customer service

I will not use Skip the dishes anymore after their unacceptable service and customer service. I ordered this past week some
Food and the order came in missing most of the items ordered. When I complained about the missing items they came back apologizing without attempting to complete the order or refund for the missing items. They have also ignored two emails to their support team.
I cannot recommend Skip the dishes to anyone

Lousy customer service

I placed an order last night thru Skip the Dishes. I got a "Head's up" message at 5:57 pm saying my order was about to arrive and to receive it at the door. I waited and waited. I messaged the driver. Finally at 6:35 pm - 38 minutes AFTER the head's up - my order arrived. I complained and their response told me they paid no attention to what I said. They spoke in the present tense as if I was still waiting for my order, and they made excuses about restaurant food prep times! I had told them that the delay was entirely on the part of the courier. I also asked why I'm no longer receiving any points and was told it's only on select orders. So I can't order what I want and earn points. One more reason I will not be using Skip the Dishes ever again.

I like to support Canadian companies…

I like to support Canadian companies but cannot use Skip the Dishes anymore. I placed an order, it was cancelled without explanation. I reordered and then delivery times changed to be excessive. Waited 20 minutes on chat and asked to cancel order. They only offered to provide credit. After some persistence they offered to provide a refund but would take 5-10 business days. The refund did not come, they credited my account. Another support call and they are refunding with another 5-10 business days.

Why would i use their service?

Missing coffee. Spending hours with support just to tell us to wait 24-48 hours for a response. 48 hours passed and still nothing. Contacted support, still telling us to wait. FOR A MISSING COFFEE. Thieves.
