If I can give a "0" I would

If I can give a "0" I would. Skip drivers are useless, unable to follow directions, unable to read numbers, this is why I stopped using skip. The company does absolutely nothing to improve this. USELESS USELESS USELESS

Disappointing

I really want to like Skip because they are Canadian but their platform is sub-par with poor search results and misleading promotions. Also, the one time I reached out to customer service with my concerns about their misleading promotions, their response was condescending and accusatory. In a face-to-face customer service setting, they would never have gotten away with their response.

I expect much better from a Canadian company. I work for a Canadian company and our customer service far surpasses what Skip offers.

Discount offer that disappeared because I changed payment method

So I got a notification earlier today saying I had a 12$ off offer that expired after 48 hours, so I thought with it being -18 outside it seemed like a good excuse to order off the app, made my order and it showed the offer applied and my total price 12$ cheaper.. well I go to change my payment method to another saved one on my account and get back and the discount is gone.. poof no where in sight not even on the account, tried changing back to original payment method… nothing still, so I place the order anyways thinking maybe it will still get taken off, but nope full price😡. Well I go on their stupid chat thing you have to do to complain, and they tell me since the order refreshed the discount was pulled and will be reapplied to my account within 24 hours, so now to use it I will have to make a new order within 24 hours of it reappearing on my account, and make sure I do nothing to refresh the page or it will be gone forever🤨 probably going to take this as my cue to never use this stupid company again and just pick up my own damn food..

First SkipTheDishes experience ☹️

My UberEats was down so I tried SkipTheDishes for the first time. I cannot tell you how frustrating my overall experience was. The site is difficult to navigate and not user friendly whatsoever. I would recommend they alter their software to make it easier to use. I cannot tell you how many times I cursed while using it! LOL. Unfortunately I will never use SkipTheDishes again. I’ve never posted a review on anything before but was so upset I made a point of doing so for this specific experience because I want to warn anyone who is considering it. Do not use it! It’s too frustrating 🥰

Awful App, Theif Drivers

Awful service. Their delivery driver literally stole a package from a house they were delivering food to in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on November 28th, 2025. This made headline news, along with Skip refusing to take any action against the driver, they said its not their issue and the driver is still working for them.

SkipTheDishes lies about the suggested…

SkipTheDishes lies about the suggested time it will take the restaurant to deliver your order. You'll see fast times (20-30 minutes) under each restaurant, but after placing your order it's likely you'll wait for 1-2 hours.

I've recently experienced 2-3 hour waits in Calgary, AB, and cancelled my order after seeing the updated time pop-up after ordering.

Use Doordash instead, they aren't liars.

Beware scam

Skip the Dishes database contained an inaccurate address for us. They sent our last order to this address, which was a significant distance from us. The driver returned our cold food to the restaurant. Skip the Dishes would not refund our money except for Skip the Dishes credits, which we will not be using. This is either pure incompetence or a malicious scam. Either way, use Skip the Dishes at your own risk.

Poor management

Worst experience.
Please don't order from skip the dishes.
We order food 2 hours ago and still the delivery person is not there.
We r not even able cancel the oder. There is no online help.
It's better to pick up
Skip people should close the services and not make the people fool.

2 hour delivery and not our meal

ordered our meal at 5:23pm after a 2 hour wait and watching the driver do two stops before us on the app. he dropped off what we thought was our meal turned out to be someones wong tong soup which we do not like. tried to contact skip for a refund they do not answer or respond. i beleive the driver was working for both skip and uber as the meal he delivered said uber on it. skip will never be used in this house again. by far the worst customer seervice i have ever dealt with.

Uncaring Customer Service When they Overcharge You

Thought we'd give this company a try after receiving a gift card from a family member. The gift card wouldnt work originally so the company issued us a credit instead. So far so good. Ordered a couple of cold expensive meals over the last month using the credit on our account.
I placed an order yesterday using the balance of our credit and paid the balance with a credit card. When I checked our credit card account this morning I saw that they charged the correct difference, then credited that charge and then charged the full amount. The credit has also disappeared from the account. Rip off! Spoke with them via chat this morning and they couldn't have been less caring or helpful. Just blew us off. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told rudely that the matter was closed. In the end we paid $70.00 for 2 burgers, 1 fry order and 1 onion ring order. Can't even print out our order from the app. Only option was to file a credit card dispute with our bank which has been done. Skip the Dishes account will be cancelled as soon as this matter is resolved. Very poor quality overall and extremely poor customer service. Hope they're happy keeping our hard earned $.
Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. I ordered a meal and when the driver went to pick it up, it got cancelled. Then I tried to order from another resturant, once I pressed checkout, it told me it was closed. This is ridiculous. If the restaurant it closed there shouldn’t be an option to order food from there. Didn’t get my money back from the first order just got a refund on the app. I would not recommend using this app ever. Absolutely ridiculous.

They sent me an email telling we can’t do anything and to check endless possibilities. I spent an hour reading it and couldn’t get why i didn’t get any help. I ordered food through my daughter’s…

I ordered food through my daughter’s app. A wrong order was delivered. My daughter followed up through messaging and they quickly cleared the messages and claimed she wasn’t receiving any refund. I wondered if they read to understand messages but just reacting. The same order was then returned back to the restaurant where my order was still at the restaurant while Uber eats order was mistakenly delivered to me. All I asked for was my delivery fee which they didn’t deserve. A new order was prepared while I returned the wrong order to the restaurant. They need to read messages clearly before responding. Get capable drivers who pay kin attention to the orders. Pay back my delivery fee because no service was rendered.

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Absolutely the worst customer service experience. They did not deliver my food within a reasonable time and when contacted for a proper update and to let them know the time has already doubled (expected time 20 min., time of refund request 1 hr 15 min) and we needed to leave to attend an event they canceled our chat. When I reconnected requesting to cancel the order, still not yet delivered they stated it's on its way. I let them know it's been on it's way for close to an hour and a half, and was told there was nothing they could do despite nobody being home now to accept the order as we had to leave for an event. They eventually delivered the food, leaving it at my front door (well past my request to cancel) without knocking, nor having anyone to accept the order. They offered a $3 refund. And this after having to speak to 3 different agents. When requested to speak to a manger they ended the chat.

Incompetent dishonest thieves

These people are thieves. Their drivers are IDIOTS that are too stupid to read an address right. For the THIRD time, their dumbass drivers have delivered to the wrong address . STD REFUSED to refund the money, only offering 50% of the food cost back after much arguing on the phone. They need to give mature, intelligent people that can READ English. Very highly recommended to go with another delivery company or get it yourself.
