I cannot thank Slater and Gordon enough for their professionalism, understanding, and kindness throughout what turned into quite a confusing situation for me.
I originally used a third-party website to check whether I had been mis-sold commission on my car finance. Without fully understanding the process, I ended up unknowingly appointing three separate legal representatives, including Slater and Gordon. For months, I was simply accepting documents and trying to do what I thought was right, completely unaware that multiple firms were working on my case.
Once I realised the situation, I contacted Slater and Gordon to explain everything and cancel my claim with them, fully expecting that I would owe fees for the time, effort, and months of work they had already put into my case. However, they handled everything with incredible professionalism and compassion. As a gesture of goodwill, they waived all additional costs and made the whole process stress-free for me.
What stood out most was how supportive and understanding they were, despite the situation not being their fault at all. Their kindness genuinely helped relieve a huge amount of stress and anxiety for me during a difficult time.
I’m extremely grateful for the way they treated me and would absolutely recommend Slater and Gordon to anyone looking for a legal team that genuinely cares about people, not just cases.
