The care and genuinely supportive approach of the whole team, particularly Teegan Head, was incredible and the quality of the advice was excellent. From the very start Brian Briggs, Teegan and the team put my safety first and made sure I was able to access medical and psychological and psychiatric care. They were a trusted advisor - they listened, believed and fought for me. They kept in contact, worked diligently and looked after my interests. They became almost part of my family. I was at the lowest point I’ve ever been, traumatised beyond description, and in the depths of depression, PTSD, anxiety, alcoholism and experiencing serious health issues. They made sure that any treatment, including surgery, was taken care of with no cost to me. They restored my dignity and supported me through the entire process. The end result was that they won a significant amount of compensation for 8 different conditions, including physical injuries which have become degenerative conditions and ongoing medical and psychiatric care. I am incredibly grateful to them and would recommend to any other veterans who think it’s too long ago, or that nobody cares, to contact them. These guys do care. They have given me my dignity back. They held the Defence Force accountable and made sure I was taken care of. They have in many respects restored me to my family. The impact they have had is such that one of my daughters is planning on naming her first female child Teegan. This review, although it may seem overly complimentary, does not even scratch the surface. They fought for me for a very long time and never gave up. I cannot thank them enough and I cannot speak highly enough of them.

I used slater & Gordon services for my military claim from start to finish including 1 appeal with VRB in which navigating this process would have been impossible without the assistance of Brian Briggs and part of his team Hillary Briggs, Tiiva Gampe who were extremely supportive throughout! I rang to talk to a lawyer at Slater and Gordon. The receptionist asked me what had happened to me. I said this was an extremely personal matter and I needed to talk to a lawyer her reply was 'I can tnot put you through to anyone until you tell me what was the medical injury you have suffered. I am devastated at what was done to me by a so called professional medical doctor. I can certainly to discuss something like this with the receptionist of a legal firm

I reached out to Brian Briggs in regards to my military compensation claim I had put off for many years, due to the complexity of DVA being too overwhelming but felt I had nothing to lose with no win no fee. Brian and his team took the stress and mental load of dealing with DVA directly for me.

Slater and Gordon Military Compensation team is outstanding. I recommend Teegan and her legal assistants to any serving or ex serving member. The team consistently gave me updates on my claims, instructed me clearly and precisely on what they needed, walked me through everything and reassured me during the periods where I was waiting for DVA. They are extremely kind and thoughtful of you. I was absolutely over the moon when I finally received my decision on my PI claim. Without the work they put in over the years this outcome would never have happened. I couldn't recommend anyone else. Please reach out to them for any concerns regarding military compensation. It was the best decision I ever did.

Initially I left a negative review of this firm based on the fact that their communication with me was pretty much non-existent, and that was very frustrating. Since then they have contacted me, and at this time it seems like a positive outcome may be imminent. I will reserve my final review for when everything is finalised but for now it is looking pretty good.
