Pre-order mess. Scam website!!!

I had ordered a jacket for my upcoming birthday trip. This order was estimated for shipping on the 18.11.2024. The 18th had passed and I had not heard anything from this company in relation to my order. I reached out, just for them to inform me that due to delays they will not be shipping out till end of November but I can see that they are also informing customer that this will be shipped out in the new year. By then my birthday will be over of course, what a joke! Not only had they failed to shipped this in the time promised but they had also failed to communicate this with their customers and in fact wait until I reached out to them to inform me. This seems like such a scam!! They were not even able to compensate me for their mess and my inconvenience! I see a lot of other comments on their social media regarding the same thing. Honestly would not shop here ever again or recommend anyone shopping here.

I’m sorry to say

I’m sorry to say, that I’m dissatisfied.
I think the dresses and jackets look amazing and I was really looking forward to wearing it at a special occasion.

Truth shall be told: the costumers service did reply very quickly and friendly. But they did not keep their promises.

I did a preorder for a dress and a jacket. It was supposed to be back in stock on 8th of November. From 8th of November it was back on the homepage as “available”. But my order was never shipped. I contacted the company many times, and they promised to ship the items “very soon”, “by Friday” and “at the end of the week” - but no promises were kept. I payed express delivery and I asked several times, if they were able to send me the items and they promised to do so - but nothing happened.

Seems like this is not a “one time” problem according to other reviews - that is a shame.

Now I’ve cancelled my order and I hope I’ll get my money back.

Pre-order shipping delays, dress still not recevied mid December

I pre-ordered a dress on 21/10/24 and did not receive an estimate shipping date for the order. Since I ordered the dress enough in advance I did not think this would be an issue. I have been waiting for over a month now for a pre-order to be shipped or get any updates on the shippment time and got no response on the shipping date but was advised there were delays. The company made several posts about the item being sent out for any pre-ordered items on 8th November but when the date came that detail was quickly removed from the posts. I had now been waiting for over a month and the dress I pre-ordered has been available for selling instantly and is alnost sold out. This is not a satisfactory service and an estimate shipping date should have been provided as this was not expected. I understand there could be delays but customers should be informed and the items should not be constantly advertised as buy now when the pre-orders are not being sent out. This is really dissapointing as I love Sla’s materials and desings and ordered a few times before. Sla the Label please provide timely updates on items customers spent they hard earned money on.

Update: The dress was sent out for delivery on the 18th November via UPS when upon ordering FedEx was the shipping company advised. Today is the 9th of December and my dress still did not arrive. UPS claims they never recevied my package physically. This is absolutely unacceptable and just a kick after kick on an almost 90€ order out of which 15€ was the delivery itself.

Terrible quality

I purchased the Lexi dress and the quality is awful. Upon opening the package there were many loose sequins. I decided to keep the dress as returns are not covered by the brand. I wore the dress for 30 mins and went back to my hotel to change as the dress was very uncomfortable and many sequins were falling off with the slightest movement.

Will not be shopping with SLA again

My experience with SLA The Label has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I tried to order the July dress when it first came out. I had my size in my basket which said it was reserved for 10 minutes and was putting my card details in, it then failed and said it was sold out.
I then ordered the dress on the first round of pre-orders, which said they would dispatched at the end of August which was perfect as I have a wedding mid September. I put in a discount code I had and thought nothing else of it, it was only when I checked my statement that I saw the code had been removed during payment. I had to email them about this but they did refund me the difference.
The end of August passed and I didn’t have a dispatch email. I am short so I knew I would need to get the dress tailored as they do not supply petite sizing. I emailed them and they said they had an “unforeseen setback” and the dress would be shipping the beginning of the first week of September. It got to Wednesday and I emailed them again, they it would be shipped that day and it didn’t. I emailed them on Friday and they said it would be shipping first thing Monday morning (9th Sept). I asked if this could be done on next day delivery and they said yes.
My order finally shipped on 9th Sept at 6:30pm on 48hr Royal Mail delivery.
The dress has obviously still not arrived, I will not be shopping with SLA again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of orders for the July dress, our system experienced an issue where shopping baskets could not hold items for the intended 10 minutes. We understand how frustrating this must have been for those of you who were unable to complete your purchase. We have raised this issue with our IT team, and they are working diligently to ensure it does not happen again in the future.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen freight delays and the transition to a new warehouse, we experienced unexpected setbacks in dispatching orders. We did note on our pre-order page that the dates were estimates and subject to any shipping delays, but we recognise that the communication regarding this hasn’t been as timely or clear as it should have been, and for that we are sorry.
We can see that your order was dispatched on Monday morning and handed over to the carrier that same evening. According to our tracking information, the parcel was delivered on the 11th of September.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced and hope you’ll consider giving SLA another chance in the future. Best wishes- Team SLA x

Still waiting for my order!

I bought the July dress for my best friends wedding. It was on pre sale to be dispatched end of August. This didn’t happen.
I heard nothing and go no updates. When I messaged their social media they said there would be delays and it would definitely be dispatched on the 4th September. This didn’t happen.
When I questioned them again they said ‘we have received confirmation the July dress will be packaged and dispatched today (Friday 6th September). This has also not happened! I have received no reply before they checked off for the weekend. I’ve been so kind and understanding of delays but I feel ignored and I’ve explained how desperate I am and I’ve received no communication back. I still do not have the dress or confirmed of dispatch.

I am writing to express my… dissatisfaction with the Purple Santorini Suit

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Purple Santorini Suit (Order No. #113615, placed on 20/02/2023). Despite my initial satisfaction with the product, the experience has since been severely disappointing.

The first time I wore the suit, it was in perfect condition and garnered many compliments. After the second wear, I followed the care instructions on the label and had it dry cleaned by a trusted professional. To my dismay, the glitter on the suit completely fell off, rendering the outfit unwearable. Moreover, this mishap caused significant issues with my dry cleaner's equipment, as the glitter spread throughout the machine.

I have noticed that the care instructions on your website have now been updated to 'cold hand wash only,' which was not the guidance provided on the original label attached to my suit. This discrepancy has led to the irreversible damage of my garment after just two wears.

Given this issue, I request a full refund or a replacement suit as soon as possible. I do not know how to attach images on Trustpilot but I am happy to share upon request.

@sla I already emailed your customer service team with the same email and images / videos.

We have recently updated the care instructions for our glitter suits, as you rightly pointed out, due to a change in the fabric composition and the introduction of new colours. Unfortunately, the purple glitter suit you mentioned is no longer available on our website. The new colours have different care requirements, which we will be more than happy to explain further and the information is on our website.

Stunning quality

Perfect holiday dresses

Even over the bump the print didn't distort and the fabric wasn’t see through. The perfect holiday dresses which I will get out every year

Not worth the price tag!

Purchased 2 dresses which were £70+ each, and they both were see through. Lovely designs& great sizing but sooo see through, not at all what you would expect for the price. Then to top if off you have to pay to return!! My return was received on 23rd May and is still not processed. Will not purchase from SLA again.

SLA all the way!

Ive ordered a couple of times from SLA and have always received great service. I recently ordered a dress which had a fault and went into panic mode. The team took every step to resolve the situation within 48 hours. The Dylan dress is absolutely stunning on and fits so well.
Really appreciate their efforts and will continue to support the brand!

Blown away by the customer service

Blown away by the customer service.

Absolutely amazing customer experience from this company. I had an issue with an order that was not their fault and they have gone above and beyond to resolve it for me. Communication was really quick and easy. And as a very stressed bride to be it was so so so appreciated.

Looks nothing like in the pictures online

Looks nothing like in the pictures.The clothes are already very expensive, but I thought I'd treat myself to something for my own Bachelorette and ordered the white glitter blazer with matching top and trousers. Not only did I pay €100 in duties alone for things that don't look anything like they do on Instagram. The glitter has clearly been photoshopped. It doesn't look white in real life either, but light blue. Simply the biggest instafail I've ever made. Now I've spent over €300 and can't wear any of it. I can't even send it back because I'll have to pay shipping and duties again. Don't buy anything, it's just a waste of money!

We cannot see any correspondence to our customer service team from yourself- please do feel free to drop us another email with the original message and we will happily look over this for you.

As a smaller brand, we unfortunately cannot provide assistance with return costs or customs duties as we note on our website. As carriage costs are specific to each carrier, and varies service to service, country to country , we unfortunately cannot advise or offer guidance on how much it may cost you to return, which is why we do not elaborate on this on our website.

We always encourage our customers to read our information section and shop around as we note on our website so you can get the best cost depending on the service you are looking to use. Our team will always offer other suggestions if returning is not an option so you can try and recoup funds, as we do often see our items on second hand websites.

Amazing Quality and Incredible Service

Incredibly fast delivery! Ordered on a Friday and my order arrived on the Monday. I was so impressed.

The customer service is genuinely the best I’ve ever experienced across any store!
We had a slight problem with one of the items I ordered having been sent in the wrong size (packet had correct size but item inside was bigger) but I emailed customer service and they immediately got back to me and reissued a new one in the correct size to be sent and this then arrived with me the next day! I returned the item that was the wrong size and again they immediately refunded the postage cost for this.

The items I ordered are also absolutely beautiful and amazing quality… I cannot wait to wear them!

I cannot fault this brand from my first experience of purchasing from them and will 100% be buying from them in the future!

Amazing Service and Quality Clothing

I placed an order yesterday, the 22/02/2024 and my order was delivered today. Absolutely amazing turn around.

I ordered the Cherry Margot Mini Dress for my birthday celebrations next weekend. I can’t wait to wear this dress. The quality is amazing, 10/10.
