What a useless piece of furniture

It took me a few years to save enough for a new sofa and after a few months of so many things going wrong, I went to the website to ask for them to take the damn thing away and get some money back, but they had ceased trading. Legs fell off, lumpy seating means I have had to put a mattress topper on it as it’s rock hard, the wood hurts me and nobody will sit on it. It never went back after being used as a bed, so it clunks when I sit on it. I have no way of replacing it as I am 70 and used all my savings to buy it. I could cry.

Avoid, do not buy.

After having our L-Shaped sofa bed for one year, I can finally say it is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. It is like sitting on a plank of wood. The back cushions are just as terrible. You need so many extra pillows and additional cushions to get even remotely comfortable.

A joke from start to finish

I don't even know where to begin. I'm sorry that Sleepahh have ceased trading but I'm also wholly unsurprised. I ordered my sofa in October, had a horrendous time with the delivery guys who claimed they couldn't get the sofa in nor my existing one out, despite me telling them our removals guys had clearly managed to get my existing sofa in without taking it apart... I refused to pay for a redelivery fee and typically had to wait weeks before the sofa was actually delivered. Low and behold, same delivery guys managed to get my old sofa out and new one in whilst managing to take the paint off my walls and chip several door frames. They built the new sofa in about 4 seconds and it was a mess. I took photos and sent these to Sleepahh to complain, only to be met with no apology and complete rudeness from "Peter". He said they would have to rearrange delivery of new parts to fix it all. I was then randomly visited by two guys with a flimsy piece to lay down over the top of the broken chaise ottoman base, which didn't fit (of course it didn't). I recontacted Sleepahh because this was all taking weeks and weeks, to be met with a surprisingly polite reply from Lewis. He offered a total replacement of the unit *WITHIN 4 WEEKS* but I said I'd rather have a refund as we couldn't be bothered with the hassle of another delivery, especially considering the damages caused by the previous delivery. We had also just lost a close family member and were trying to organise funerals etc, so organising another delivery was the last thing on my mind. He essentially skirted around it and vaguely said they wouldn't be refunding my money. We agreed to the replacement and I informed Sleepahh in the new year that we would like a like-for-like sofa. I've heard nothing until I emailed this morning for an update, and received an automated reply about them ceasing trading. Absolutely horrific experience and the sofa certainly isn't worth the amount it cost anyway.

stay clear

as like others traying to get a refund , i was lucky in some ways i have a sofa but its faulty and defects , after it was delivered on the 20th December , now trying to get money back through the cc company

Company dissolved

Ordered in Nov. Week of delivery received an email saying that the order was cancelled, with no explanation.
I chased and they said that the company has dissolved and to pursue my own refund.

Company in administration DO NOT USE

Just had an email to say they have ceased trading and my order has been cancelled but they can’t issue a refund, I have to try to do that with my bank.

BUT they still have an active website!!

Fraudolent company

Order was confirmed just a week ago, then just this morning I received an email that "Sleepahh Ltd has ceased trading [...] including taking and processing orders or refunds", so we are now left with trying to get back the amount we paid via chargeback of the debit card provider. They must have ben aware of their supplier issues and yet still accepting payments and confirming orders. This could be fraudulent trading, as the company seems to have knowingly accepted payments without the ability or intent to deliver goods.

Minus 100☆

Minus 100☆, rating, son ordered his sofa 2 weeks ago, paid £1,000 deposit. Just received email saying order cancelled, no refund, company ceased trading. But according to the high street banks they are still trading according to companies house.

Awful experience from as it turns out

Awful experience from as it turns out, an awful company.

Took my order in December, taking a first payment of £300+

Received an email from them today, saying that for 'unforeseen circumstances ' they have cancelled my order completely.

A further dig revealed that they have ceased trading and that I should claim a refund from my card issuer under section 75.

Please read recent reviews for this company and don't get ripped off, like I have and it seems many others have been.

Cancelled order with no reason.

Just cancelled our sofa delivery and order after making us wait over 6 weeks. Please don’t waste your time with this company.
We could have bought another one in that time and would be a lot happier.

Apparently they've "ceased trading" and can't even give me a refund for my unfulfilled order. Their website, social media, etc is still active at this time. Scam.

Avoid At All Cost!!!

I would give zero stars, if I could!
I ordered the sofa bed (L-Shape) which was delivered about 10 weeks later, which was fine, as this was stated during the booking flow.
However when I pulled out the bed and sat on it with my partner, it completely dipped down. Mind you, we are of average hight and both slim.
I contacted Sleepahh customer service with pictures and also send a video on request that shows how I pull out the bed bit.
I then was told Emmiera would come out to check the sofa. So I scheduled an appointment. The earliest was in a month time. Fair enough.
So Emmiera comes out, checks the sofa and told me, the back bit (the one you pull out flat) has broken and can't be repaired. It needs to be exchanged and that he would contact Sleepahh which then would contact me.
A week has passed since then and Sleepahh didn't get in touch with me. So I send them multiple emails. In the last email, since I still haven't received an answer, I stated, that I would like a response, or otherwise I would have to consider legal aid.
After at least two weeks since Emmiera and multiple emails, Sleepahh finally replies and says, that they would not offer me a repair under warranty, as the sofa is sturdy enough and that this has happened under force!
I repeatedly stated, that this was not done under force and asked multiple times to speak with the manager. I even contacted the CEO via LinkedIn without a response.
I was not forwarded to the manager and was then told, that since we can't find a solution and because I "threatened" them with legal aid, that they would not reply to further emails.
So first of all I said, I would consider legal aid, as I didn't receive an answer for at least 2 weeks. Also, once they answered, I always had to ask to reply within 5 working days, which often also not happened from Sleepahh's side.
Secondly, not once was I offered a solution, but only flat out was told, that I did this under force!
I am a full-time hard working single mother. Why on earth would I break my sofa bed under force?!
I am not the only one having problems with their purchase. Many here stated broken bits and problems with the fabric.
I purchased the sofa bed in March 2024 and when I tried the bed option for the first time it was around July 2024 and broke right away!
I have taken the broken bit apart and removed the fabric. There are three wooden pieces. Left and right on the outside and one in the middle. All three have broken and the middle one is the only one that is proper wood. The outside ones is pressed wood. All three pieces are not wider than a hand.
So no! This is absolutely not sturdy at all. If I could, I would also include the pictures, I took.
Avoid at all cost, it is not worth the money.

Avoid at all cost, scam

I ordered an in-stock L-Sofabed in October 2024, I hadn't heard anything for a few days so I followed up about a delivery slot, to find out the in-stock item I bought was faulty so they had to rebuild it, but due to the inconvenience they were going to upgrade it (this will take 6 weeks) okay sure things happen.

End of week 5, not heard anything from them, so I chased it up again, the response was I don't believe there will be any problems with delivery next week...Great.

No communication again on week 6, delivery week. chased again, response "Sorry it seems that it was broken during transport and fell off a truck (Dec 2024), we can rush another order through for you this will take 3 weeks...but we'll give you 50% off" they said

I had waited this long so what's another 3 weeks, at this point I am suspicious, and received another email as I let them know communication is terrible.
Got another email saying they would give me 40% off not 50, and I requested the 50 as per discussed. all was okay, 3 weeks until I got my sofa and at a bargain price due to the 8-week delay.

Now in January 2025, I received a full refund, no communication about canceling the order, I asked what happened they said due to the delay best we refund you and cancel your order.

So as far as I am aware these sofas do not exist even when asking for a photo of the damaged sofa this could not be produced, the company is very much a joke.

Do their sofas even exist?

Bought an 'in stock' sofa back in October and today after months of chasing and false promises of the sofa turning up, they sent a refund after we were told it would be delivered next week.

Our experience is almost unbelievable - the first 'in-stock' sofa was said to have a faulty mechanism so they wanted to make us a brand new one (though this would take 6 weeks) annoying but ok. We were told after 9 weeks (after issues sourcing material) it was made and ready for delivery however nothing turned up that day and no communication, when we contacted them surprise surprise there had been an issue...we were told IT FELL OFF THE LORRY and was beyond repair - this really is a terrible joke.

They then said they would make us a new one again, but it would only take 3 weeks. Last week they confirmed it's ready, again, book your delivery slot. Today they said there's been more issues so they have decided to cancel our order.

Wow, I'm glad they are sending our money back and we can buy from a reputable company in the January sales.

Don’t even think to buy any sofa from…

Don’t even think to buy any sofa from this company. Not existing customer service, no one has ever picked up the phone and no one from the company gives a thing if something happens to sofa. I ordered one, in two weeks the foam went to different side. Pillows started to dent. Never seen such an awful quality. Has been offered a new one, I declined the offer. Still waiting for the refund. I wish I read the reviews before

I absolutely adore my L-shape sofa bed

I absolutely adore my L-shape sofa bed. I had a previous encounter with Sleepahh, so I took the time and effort to transport it from the UK to Switzerland and have it delivered to my apartment. The service provided has always been flawless, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Sleepahh to anyone looking for a similar experience.

Excellent sofa bed and service!

I was a little hesitant at first paying so much money for a sofa that I had never sat on or seen, but I am so glad we got ours. We bought an in-stock one which worked out cheaper and I love the fabric and colour. The sofa feels firm but very comfortable at the same time and I am loving how easy it converts to a bed.
The customer service has been excellent but I would say that you do need to do your research and be proactive. I was scared off by the negative reviews on here but what we experienced was nothing like what I had seen in the bad reviews. Make sure to measure your door frames ahead of time, though! We needed to book a partial dissembling fee which was mentioned in the small print of the website but I could not add to the order. But no problem at all, I just messaged Sleepah and they sent me a second invoice for the fee. The delivery was also great. I had communication beforehand telling me exactly when the sofa would be delivered. The delivery people turned up on time and put the sofa together in no time. Overall, we are very happy all around and glad we went for our Sleepah sofa bed.

Never write reviews but felt like I…

Never write reviews but felt like I need to write this time. I thought I did my research and also ordered fabric swatches to ensure that I know what is being ordered, and then made the purchase. We received the sofa mid April and after the first month we started to experience issue with the fabric (Chenille) as it started to bobble and since then it has only gotten worse. At that point I was in my third trimester and baby was due to arrive shortly and we could not go without a sofa (I was thinking we could just get covers for the sofa to fix the bobbling). After the baby was born we spent couple of nights on the sofa and it does not live up to what they advise. The foam on the sofa seems to wear out a bit too quick as it is squished down too much for sofa that is now around 6 months old. Like I fully understand the wear on tear on a product but not when you have had the product for only half a year. Also now when sofa is made into bed it seems to dip down sufficiently (when getting on it to lay down) for me to start to worry if it will break. Please consider a different brand before buying this sofa as we are gonna be purchasing a new sofa from a different brand. Thank you.

A Caring Company

The customer service was great. My emails were replied to in a couple of hours. I always got an answer phone but my calls were returned the same day.
All my questions were answered fully, and the sofa bed arrived quicker than expected.
