Ordering was easy and straight forward
Ordering was easy and straight forward. The delivery was a nightmare and went wrong on every level. I had no option to select a delivery time, I was just told a window of 4 hours which was totally inappropriate. I got a phone call at 06.10 to say delivery would be 20 minutes. I could barely understand the delivery agent. The mattress had to left outside the front door which put it at risk of being stolen, my elderly parents could not get to the door at 06.25. This is way too early and is actually an offence under the environmental protection act 1990. My parents have been served a warning for causing an obstruction and a fire risk in the building. Terrible experience and no options available to discuss or change delivery options. You should not be attempting to deliver such a big item like this any time before 7am, at the very earliest. This has caused me so many problems and caused all sorts of problems for my parents. I have now received a reply form sleep kings about the delivery. They have clearly not read it understood my concerns about a pre 7am delivery. They have attempted to gas light me explaining that I left instructions for them to leave the mattress outside the front door. That would be fine if the item arrived in day light hours. My issue is the delivery was 6.30 in the morning and an 83 and 84 year old couple were fast asleep, immobile and incapable of getting to the door. If 6.30 in the morning is ok for delivery, we might as well accept anytime of day or night is reasonable. No it's not and the environmental protection act covers this. Sleep kings are not the issue here, it's the delivery agents who need to comply. You should not even attempt to deliver in the UK before 7am.

Having reviewed your order, we can see that a request was made for the mattress to be left outside the property if no one was available to receive it. In line with those instructions, the driver left the mattress in the agreed location. We appreciate that, unfortunately, this led to issues for your parents, and we're genuinely sorry to hear about the inconvenience this caused.
Our delivery partners work to pre-planned routes, which means delivery times can vary. While we understand that receiving a call early in the morning was not ideal, the driver contacted you to advise of their imminent arrival before completing the delivery in accordance with the instructions provided.
We value your feedback regarding delivery timing and communication, and we will pass your comments on to our delivery partner as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience.
We're sorry that the delivery did not meet your expectations and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.

Truly excelent service
Sleepkings is the only company that offered my size of mattress, at a very reasonable price. Ordering was easy with free delivery, with the best tracking system I have ever experienced. It promised a two hour slot, with a map to show where the driver was and how many stops before mine. So cool to watch the delivery progress.
