Terrible product

I was so excited when I purchased my custom skin for my oculus quest and couldn't wait for it to arrive. When it finally arrived I noticed that they had only shipped the skin and a microfibre cloth with no instructions on how to place it on my quest, after about and hour of trying to get it on it was wrinkle free in the middle but looked like a fancy ravioli on the edges, none of the edges stayed down and stuck. After modifying it with an exacto knife to where half the skin was gone and almost my whole custom design lost it was pretty much just a rectangle, even at this point I could not get it on without wrinkles, after looking online I found people were using hair dryers to heat it so that they could stretch it but this can’t be good for the system to be heated so much, others were making slits in it to make it go down with no wrinkles, all measures the company should have taken to make sure their product works, I think that if it needs these measures to be taken at least send a set of instructions with your product.

ScamWraps

I wonder why this company is still allowed making order, you can find so many poor reviews on them but unfortunately they don't show if you write slickwraps on google. They don't send items, do not replay to clients, they ignore tottaly customers. My order was made 2 moths ago, till this day I don't receive item. Shame on you ScamWraps! Do not make order becouse you loose your money!

Ordered a wrap for MacBook Pro 13"

Ordered a wrap for MacBook Pro 13". Was shipped in August and its now October, still nothing arrived. Completely ignored emails for first month, finally started responding and saying I have to track it down, without giving any details or info on how to do this. Needless to say I'm unable to locate it 2 months on and they refuse to provide a refund. Have offered to send it again so I'll update this review in January when the second shipment fails to make it too. Just use ANYONE else, even colouring in your device with a sharpie marker would be better than buying from these people.

2 of 2 Bad Experiences

I have ordered twice in 2 Years.

First time item arrived after 3 Weeks completely damaged and fold, the solution of Slickwraps was to use a hairdryer, after a 50€ cover you expect at least a good envelope so you have the chance to intall it properly.

Second time, after 5 Weeks the order will not arrive, hopefully I can get the money from paypal back...

I would never recommend this company or the products they offer to anyone.

Avoid at all costs.

Order placed 17/7/2020 which remains undelivered, support tickets raised on 28/7/2020, 9/8/2020 and 15/9/2020 which all remain unanswered. After some further research it appears there are thousands of customers in this position globally. And now news of a data breach... Avoid.

Went from ok to abysmal real quick

To be fair, the products themselves are actually quite good. Nice looking stickers that are easy to apply, durable and also quite forgiving. The thing is that you have to be quite lucky to actually get the products.

My first order there took about a month to arrive (from US to Europe that's not so unusual, so I didn't think much of it). The second order took 4 months plus it caused problems with customs since their customs declaration wasn't complete or something like that. Since that was during the COVID lockdown phase, I didn't think much of it either.

Now with my third and definitely final order there it turns out that the people working at Slickwraps seem to be either completely incompetent or just don't care anymore. First I get an order confirmation which says it takes them about 6-8 business days to ship. After 3 weeks they still haven't shipped the order. They conveniently ignored my e-mails until I opened a case with PayPal. 2 days after that they finally shipped the order which arrived about a month later.
(I have to add that after they shipped the order, I ordered stickers from another shop in the US and those stickers arrived 2 weeks earlier despite using USPS as well).

Apart from taking forever to actually ship and apart from ignoring my e-mails, they also conveniently forgot to include one of the articles I ordered. Also they just seem to be unable to use packaging that doesn't damage the stickers inside.

Btw, their excuse is that whenever they have a sale going on, shipping might take longer than usual. The thing is that they have a permanent sale since at least 2 months so I don't know, maybe don't have a sale all the time if you know that you can't handle it?

Anyway: If you don't want to wait for months for SOME of your stickers to arrive, order them somewhere else. As I said, the quality is good but that doesn't help if you never get to see it.

Was trying to get my fiancé decals for his birthday so I placed an order a month in advance (the site says 6-8 days for custom orders to be shipped). Emailed to get an update after 3 weeks and got no response from customer support. A week later, I got a notification that my package shipped (a month isn’t quite the same as 6-8 days, but ok). Another month later, I still haven’t received anything, my tracking information hasn’t updated since the day after it “shipped,” I’ve reached out to their support team 2 more times, and no response. Like at this point, even if I get my order, I’ll never order from them again based on their false advertising when it comes to delivery expectations and HORRIBLE customer service. At least have the decency to acknowledge your customer emails. If you’re having known issues with shipping, update your site or reply to an email with this info. Ignoring questions and complaints just makes you look worse...

I've been emailing for two going on…

I've been emailing for two going on three weeks straight to see what the status of my order is with no response. It still just says "processing". I've filed a fraud claim with bank in order to get my money refunded. I do not want the item anymore nor to deal with the company. Total scam and I don't know how they remain in business.

Update:
Go figure after a month and the notification that I made a fraud claim with my bank miraculously the skin has shipped .... Go figure.

Fraudulent Website

Same as the rest of the reviews, almost 1 month and didn't receive the wrap. Wrote a couple of emails to their customer service, but no reply whatsoever. So basically they are stealing your money for nothing. Total fraud.

Six weeks and no response

I used slickwraps several years ago when I got a skin for my macbook. They took a little longer than I expected then, but It turned out well. I recently purchased a macbook for my Nephew and wanted to also put a skin on it. It has now been 6 weeks and I have sent 4 messages regarding the order. I have had no responses to these inquiries and the order continues to still say "processing". I had intended to cancel the order, but there appears to be no way to do that. Guess I'll be contacting paypal.
