US SHIPPING IS NOT WORTH IT!!

Smallable.com presents as a U.S. site (if you access it from the US) which is super misleading! The items come from Europe (OK...) but they make US customers pay import duties & make international returns super expensive!! Nowhere when you make the purchase does it say the customer is responsible for U.S. import duties, and if you want to return the item you need to pay import duties again — on top of return shipping!! Other international brands manage to make cross-border shopping seamless so I just expected it to be the same here. I regret purchasing and consider the money wasted.

We wish to specify that we are indeed a French site, and not an American one, even if our site can adapt according to the country of connection in order to improve navigation.

Regarding the customs fees, they are clearly indicated at the time of choosing the delivery method, before the validation of the order. They remain however independent of our will, because they are applied by the customs authorities of the country of destination.

We fully understand that these fees, as well as the conditions for returning abroad, can be perceived as binding and we are sincerely sorry about this. We are continuously working to improve the experience of our clients internationally.

fast delivery, quality

fast delivery, very cute little video camera, I tried it out! Giving it to my grandson for his birthday at the end of the month. I have high expectations and know everything is quality i gave him the binoculars (same style & company) for Christmas and know he is enjoying them. He is turning 5, my daughter gave her daughter the video camera for Christmas she is 5 and enjoys it.

Canadian duty change without communication

I am a Canadian customer. Typically, duties are refunded by Smallable. This policy was changed with little notice (I do not remember receiving and e-mail) and the policy change was also not stated at the checkout. It was a disappointing change with no warning. To rectify the issue, the customer service team offered a discount on shipping for my next order, which did not address my issues with the order at hand. I will not be purchasing again from Smallable.

Good purchasing experience

Very pleased with my purchase. The Kidywolf K-Print camera is well designed and I am enjoying using it. I had to do some research to find a vendor who would ship the camera to the U.S. Your website was very helpful in letting me select my language, currency, and country. The checkout process was straightforward, the product was shipped promptly, and I enjoyed the updates telling me how my shipment was making its way from Paris to southern California. The complimentary bag was a nice addition. A few more details on the website about the technical specifications of the camera would have been desirable, but in the end, I was able to find this information through internet searches before my purchase. I will definitely keep Smallable in mind for future purchases.

Smallable is great

Smallable is great! I've ordered from them for years. Even when I lived in Cambodia it was no problem ordering from them. They ship quickly and the items are always lovely as pictured on their website. I recommend them!

Jellycat purchase

Delivery was fast, jellycat product was only available on this website.
Purchased as a birthday gift for my daughters friend. She was very happy and received a beautiful gift bag with purchase. Would definitely order from them again

No refund

Purchased an item for €25. My import duty bill to the UK was £1,800. No one replied to my emails so I returned to sender. I’ve finally received a refund however not for the full amount I paid. No one is replying to my emails or messages don’t buy from here.
