Gorgeous accommodation in a beautiful part of Northumberland. Attention to detail for visitors comfort in all areas of the cottage.. Spotlessly clean and welcoming fresh flowers supplied all add to a lovely experience. I would not hesitate to book again.

Very straightforward and efficient booking experience, including our contact when we had to move our stay. The cottage was immaculate, very well presented and well equipped and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

A Very comfortable Bungalow, well equipped and the water was always hot. The beds were really comfortable , the bathrooms great, one little thing to make them perfect would be a shelf in the shower cubicle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying there

Could not fault Lynecroft, it’s a lovely holiday home. It’s got everything you could think of. Great location for walks & beach also quiet roads for cycling. With in walking distance to Eleanor Byre coffee barn. Will definitely book again.

Lovely clean and modern cottage which is in an excellent location for exploring the local area as well as being only 10 minutes walk from the beach.

What an excellent dog friendly cottage, spotless, well furnished with a huge secure rear garden for Oakley our Cockapoo to play safely. He loved it!

Ideal location close to many amazing seaside towns and long sandy beaches. What a coast line with the historic Alnwick, Dunstanburgh and Bambugh Castles within a few mins drive.

Two terrific local pubs nearby both dog friendly and serving excellent home cooked food. The Cottage was perfect for us and we would highly recommend especially to our fellow dog owners.

Had a lovely week in Lynecroft. The cottage is in a very quiet location, but within a 5 min walk to the pub, and local corner shop. It’s a short walk (15 mins)to Embleton beach.
The cottage was immaculate. Everything was clean, and it has all the home from home things you need when on this type of holiday. The garden was a real winner for us having our dog with us, and as it gets the sun all day we enjoyed sitting outside for meals. We’ll definitely book again.

This was our first stay at The Arches cottage, what a great surprise a lovely modern cottage extremely well fitted out with top furnishings. Each room perfectly presented with ensuite bathrooms. Lovely sitting room and open plan dining kitchen. Bonus was the pub next door. Big thank you to the Smallburn team for a most enjoyable break with our dogs. We will be booking again.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Lynecroft. It really is the perfect holiday cottage - the location is perfect and really suited us as a 3 generation family, and the house and gardens were immaculate! We were extremely lucky with the weather whilst we were there and very grateful to the owners for coming over to build the new garden furniture that had been delivered so we could make use of it. The beds are super comfy, we all slept very well. There is loads to do in the local area, we could’ve easily stayed longer - highlights for us were The Alnwick Gardens, Bambrugh (especially the sunset on the beach), the Jolly Fisherman at Craster, and the lovely circular 7 mile walk from the cottage to Craster via Dunstanbrugh Castle. We’ll definitely return in the future - thank you!

Gorgeous cottage, perfectly situated, decorated and equipped, ideal for eating at Joiner’s Arms next door but one, and Ship Inn at Low Newton 10 min walk away. Spotlessly clean, already booked for next year having returned yesterday!

Fabulous cottage. Light, clean, well equipped. Good size bedrooms, both doubles have en suites, which was a real bonus, both with excellent showers. Location was perfect for us - we love Newton’s beaches, beadnall and embleton (all within walking distance). Our favourite pub the joiners arms is next door and an easy drive to bamburgh and seahouses. We have had an amazing week and would recommend this location and cottage highly.

We hit upon this property by accident as there had been a late cancellation in the dates we were searching properties for. It turned out to be absolutely ideal for us.
Lynecroft cottage is superbly appointed and immaculately presented. The village of Embleton is ideally situated near the coast for touring north, south, or inland. The garden was lovely, spacious and quiet when we were able to sit out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Arches, a beautiful cottage, finished to a very high standard & spotlessly clean. The location was fantastic located just 10 minutes from the local beach, some lovely walks and great restaurants around. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, I am so glad I found this place. Maureen was a great host, thank you to you all for making it such a wonderful stay. Will hope to be back at some point in the future.

This was our second visit to Lynecroft Cottage and without doubt we thoroughly enjoyed our stay again!.
The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and located in a lovely little village with easy access to may local landmarks, attractions.
There is a beautiful lawn and secure garden to the rear of the cottage, ideal for our cocker spaniel to roam about.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property and will certainly visit again.

We had a fantastic time at Lynecroft Cottage. It was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is also far more spacious in real life than the impression you get from the website photos. Only a short walk to the beautiful Embleton Bay. So much to do in the area in addition to the wonderful beaches including Alnwick Castle, Cragside and Lindisfarne. We even managed a day trip to Edinburgh Zoo (about an hour and a half away). We thoroughly recommend this cottage and are looking forward to returning in the future.
