Terrible!

This is a continuation of the ongoing fiasco with Smart Cellular. Today, 26th They replied to my review of their lack of customer service, including chat transcripts. Again, they asked me to email for priority service. Same email address as Rachell. And Steven. And Claire.

On the 19th, Rachel replied to my email(s) stating,
"Please note that your order is expected to be delivered by the end of this week, or by mid next week at the latest"
So, this morning at 09.34 UK time I sent a reply

"Hi Rachell
It is now the 26th, and order is still showing as processed, not packed. Remind me, when will my daughters phone be arriving? Latest middle of this week? That’s tomorrow.

Awaiting your response.

Mike"

It's now 22.52, and no response?

On my orders page, it's still showing as processed, due for delivery on 8th May. My daughter's 16th birthday (her main present) was on 12th.

27th May: Got phone call from Smart Cellular. When I said wasn't interested in more apologies, he hung up on me.

Then received email from Scott, asking about my recent order and if I'd accept a different phone!!

Overall Quite Good - Brilliant Customer Service

Overall, I had a very good experience with Smart Cellular. The process was straightforward and I knew roughly what to expect going in.

The only downside was that my phone was regraded once it had been received and posted, which resulted in losing around 70% of the initial evaluation value — a bit of a sting, though I'll be honest, it wasn't entirely unexpected.

What really stood out was the service from both Tony and Jake. They were absolutely amazing at ensuring my payment came through quickly, and they were kind and courteous throughout. Both are real assets to the company.

Despite the regrade, I would recommend Smart Cellular — just go in with realistic expectations about the final valuation. Thanks again, Tony and Jake!

I placed an order end of April. No goods n no refund

I placed an order end of April. After 10 days I didn’t receive my order. Since the second week of May I’ve cancelled my order and I received an email that it’ll take 3 to 4 working days for them to process my full refund and today after 14 days I still haven’t received my refund.

28/05/26 Updating my original post as the latest I received today(28th May) from them via Trustpilot asking me to contact their Sales team for them to resolve it with no option to reply.
I have been in contact with their Sales/customer services team via email since beginning of May as haven’t been able to speak to anyone on the phone. Left several voice messages and never got a call back.
I received an email from their sales team today(28th May) saying they will give the refund but it will take another 10 working days to refund to my original payment. This will be around 10th June.
They did ask for my personal bank account details if I want the money sooner which I decline.

Paid for, never available, no refund after 2 months!

I ordered a phone from Smart Cellular back in March which never arrived. It turned out it was never available! After weeks of excuses I had to buy elsewhere and asked for a refund. No response from Customer Service for weeks at a time and after six weeks had gone by I get fobbed off with pretend requests for which account I want my refund sent to!
It's now over 2 months and still nothing has appeared in my account.
Shocking and deliberate withholding of customers' money and they pretend to care and thank me for my patience!!
They should have just it refunded it back to the original payment method as they are legally required to do!!
Hateful company best steered well clear of!!

After numerous calls and emails

After numerous calls and emails, this company is a joke. I purchased a iPhone 14 for my granddaughters birthday and online promised 48 hr despatch. First email from them said due to summer rush they were having problems, hello we aren’t in summer yet!!! I’ve tried for 5 days and no answer or fobbed off and now out of office till Tuesday, sorry too late her birthday is Monday. They sell phones they haven’t got. Don’t buy from them!!! I’ve contacted my bank and they are dealing with it now. Please don’t use this company.

What a terrible experience

What a terrible experience. Ordered last Thursday. No news on shipping. Chased 3 times in the week and got nothing back. Then eventually had “it’s with the dispatch team”… more radio silence. I eventually requested for a refund and I needed the phone desperately for work, no reply for days. I even offered to take a similar phone, any colour just to help them get the process moving and I never got any feedback from this. All in all, extremely poor service. I would personally pay £20 more elsewhere and receive the package than go here and dig for the cheapest deal - it’s not worth it.
