Useless App and website - they seem to use AI to check the photo quality and in reality nobody needs those stringent criteria they want to apply. I will never again use them and waiting for refund.

Needed photos for my new Spanish TIE card that had to be a smaller than standard size.

I found this service to be very easy to use and the most affordable way to get a passport photo done. You very quickly approve or disqualify a photo submitted. My first photo wasn't approved and your service offered to accept another one for free! Unfortunately, I didn't realize I had to refer to that message to take the new photo for free and I ended up paying twice. I would still recommend your service. I renewed my passport online, and my picture was accepted just as you said it would be.

What made my experience great? Mainly because it worked. I went to several photo booths in Paris that claimed to produce photos for official documents. In all cases, I paid for photos I thought met the criteria, only to find out that they didn't. Someone suggested Smartphone ID, and it worked like a charm, both for my French residence card and my French driving license. And it was easy to use. I recommend it to everyone I run into who's doing something that will require an official photo.

My partner and I have taken in excess of 30 photos using both android and iPhone over thepast 48 hours. All have been rejected. We uninstalled the app and used an alternative. The prefecture wouldnt accept the photos without the iphoto code so we're still unable to complete our applications. The same thing happened last year. This app is a total pain in the ass.

Excellent. Very easy and reliable to use.

Generally a great app BUT make sure you completely finish one photo before you start another. Only works serially so you can't have the whole family at the same point in the process at the same time. I lost a couple of photos before I realised what was going on.

A function to create a person and to be able to handle several photos at the same time would be good.

This was a very positive experience. Took the photo. Paid the fee and in about an hour I had an email back saying all good.

I have been using this service for about five years for about 15 photos for visa and residence card applications, driving licence applications. On all but one of those occasions, the photo was accepted by the relevant French authorities. On the one occasion when it wasn't accepted, the production of a replacement photo was free together with advice on how to avoid the problem in the future.

Great way to make photos. However my photo was rejected by the consulate.

Excellent service that I have used 3 times now for French residency renewals. Enables you to get what you need without leaving home. Cost is reasonable.

Used this service for first time to get passport photos for myself and my husband. So easy to use and inexpensive. The process for taking the photograph is very easy, and for,payment. But the photograph and code were not accepted on the Passport Office Website.

Used Smartphone ID every year for my visa and also for my driving license and each time found it easy, great instructions and best of all, saves having to go anywhere to get it done! I definitely recommend. Also need to mention great customer service..
