Everything worked fine, I did my photo for Vietnam visa through their website. I wasn't sure about the end result, but I guess they did additional treatment because I received in perfect condition and quite fast. I recommend this website. :)

Dutch Passport Picture doesn't work
This review is about a photo for a Dutch passport, of which smartphone ID says it can do it properly. In their information is written that if the picture was declined (and yes we had to rush through Paris in search for someone who could do it properly and to not lose our appointment as we had travelled from afar) smartphone ID needed an official paper of the embassy to get a payback (around 10Euro), which was the embassy not willing to write (they had a lot of extra hassle because of the picture too). I wrote smartphone ID a message in the app asking for our money back, and when today i logged on, it said I had never ordered anything, and my history had disappeared. what can I say 🤷♀️ bad experience...

We invite you to update your app via your store, then log out and log back into your Smartphone iD account. This should allow you to view your history again.
Regarding administrative rejections, we guarantee a refund upon presentation of an official document confirming that the photo was refused for the selected document. Without this document, unfortunately, we cannot proceed with the refund, as we need to ensure that the rejection is legitimate.

Efficient way to obtain a digital photograph
Smartphone ID is an App for - Smartphones.. It is easy to download and can be used to take photos to apply for a Passport (and other 'legal' documents requiring a photograph). Follow the easy instructions and a batch of 4 passport sized pics are supplied for a small fee (£8.48 at Nov 2024). The pics are supplied by email with a 'code' that is also supplied to HM Passport Office. An online Passport Application took 5 minutes - complete the usual information, and the 'code' to confirm the photos supplied. I would recommend this method of obtaining Passport pics.
