I have been working with Smoobu for the past 3 year. There are several reasons for me to stick with smoobu. Most important one is their support. If you need any help setting up or even post setup support Smoobu is always quick with an answer or solution. Also in the 3 years I have seen the tool develop and grow. Features that weren't available are here now.
If you need a simple management tool for your vacation rental I do recommend Smoobu.
Be careful before implementing Smoobu. For us, it resulted in complete chaos, angry clients, loss of AirBnB superhost status and of business / revenues. Software is not ready yet and full of gaps, without warning for customers. Below a few examples we faced: 1- Smoobu does not import manual booking and does not let you know. As a result, it generated double bookings upon implementation, which took hours to solve on our ends and led to some deep client insatisfaction. 2- Does not synchronise with expedia / vrbo. The objective of a channel manager is to synchronise across multiple platforms. A huge miss that there are missing synchronisation with one of the leading platforms. Only calendar can synchronise. Deep regrets overall, especially as the software is not cheap. I am currently looking to switch to a competitor.
Smoobu is an amazing software. It's very easy to use and set up, they have so many helpful blogs & videos to guide you. The customer service is fantastic - the response times are quick and they've almost always managed to solve my issues/ answer my questions. The synchronisation is quick and therefore no need to worry about double bookings. It's connects with may different external softwares - pricelabs, Airbnb, booking.com, cleaning apps, your own website etc. And works effortlessly. It saves me tonnes of time and has never let me down. The price is great too for a starting business. However it is a little simplistic if you grow into a large company with multiple properties.

"All" the representatives of Smoobu are unhelpful and thier emails are both pleasant and patronizing. Although I've been using Smoobu for two years, I find it to be a mediocre platform. Recently, I requested to switch from a yearly to a monthly subscription, but they informed me that since I had missed my renewal date, it was not possible. Consequently, I canceled all six of my property subscriptions. Unfortunately, Smoobu seems indifferent to losing my business.
Does not support properties in different countries and different currency. If you plan to grow, stay away from Smoobu. No understanding of the issue from the Smoobu team either even after years as a customer.

We selected Smoobu for our new French holiday rental business at Wisteria Gites after much research. While we were creating our Smoobu website, we found their technical support to be genuinely fantastic. It's hard to single someone out, when everyone else is helpful, but we must mention Christian, for his knowledge, patience and speedy handling of all our (many!) requests.
The software they provide, is web based, so you can use it wherever you have internet access. It brings together all the things you need on a daily basis into their "Cockpit"screen. Communication with guests is easy, as is managing our availability calendar and making any changes to our website. We have lots of other things to do, so didn't want to have to devote much regular time to I.T. management. In that respect, Smoobu has delivered perfectly for us. So to sum up. We like the company, the software for managing our bookings and also the technical support people. For us, that's the whole package. We're genuinely pleased we chose Smoobu!

This is an excellent Channel Manager. My guests at Villa Hygge in Ciovo Croatia love the personalised web sites where I can provide in greatest detail all the information required that a guest might be looking for, such as places to to eat, shop, attractions, beaches, activities, etc, etc. Also the integration with the main booking platforms works seamlessly. I can highly recommend Smoobu to anyone looking for trouble-free booking management.
I've been using Smoobu for over 2 years now and I have to say that I'm very happy with the customer service. Nowadays, the fact alone that you're speaking with real people, not bots, makes you feel special. But these guys also reply to you very quickly, are really helpful and competent. Like the day before yesterday. Regarding the host solution itself - it makes life so much easier if you advertise your property on multiple websites. It helps to avoid double bookings, to change rates and availability with one button on all sites, to send automated messages to your guests, to create a website, and much more. I especially like the financial statistics - you can see your common income from bookings on different platforms at a glance. The dashboard is also very cool. I only miss one thing - the ability to block different apartments without blocking the entire house. But I hope this feature will be provided someday
I have found the support to be excellent - even happy to help with issues that are more related to the booking partners rather than Smoobu.
I do find the interface a little old fashioned and clunky in places. But overall it seems to work.
I have been using Smoobu for a few years now but this year they hiked their prices by 50% and I never got the communication. I saw it when I was not able to login and decided not to renew as in 4 years they had only generated 1 booking direct and all my bookings have been generated by VRBO for $0 annual charges. I assumed by not renewing I could cancel but they held me to their T&C and refused to negotiate on an earlier cancellation. So I have been forced to renew at the seriously inflated rate of Euro380. So I find their T&C's onerous and one sided and after many years with them with only have 2 bookings to show for these high charges. The website builder is good as is the calendar syn but as a simple hosting service for 1 property with minimal marketing to generate traffic and inquiries to my website, it's not worth the money and not worth getting snared in their annual charge. I honestly feel let down and swindled.
I have one Airbnb rental and I researched a lot of options before finally deciding to trial Smoobu. It is very easy to use, simple, well-designed and intuitive. But absolutely the best thing about it is the fantastic customer service! Every time I’ve had a question or issue, they respond quickly and go above and beyond. I highly recommend.
