Simon fixed my UPVC balcony door that had somehow shifted, to the extent that I could no longer lock it.
I definitely recommend him, because:
1. He was by far the most competitive price wise, compared to a few others
2. He fixed the problem quickly and very efficiently, adjusting both hinges and locks.
3. He explained the problem, as I was interested, and had tried to fix it myself
4. He is very pleasant, polite, highly professional and super honest.

I called Simon in the morning as my UPVC door handle had progressively gotten stiffer to manoeuvre, which meant the door was difficult to lock. He gave a few options in terms of diagnosing the problem over the phone with a price quote for each. He arrived within the agreed 2 hour slot, having phoned ahead to say he was on his way. He was very professional in his approach, fully explained everything he did, and kept to his quote. I'm fully satisfied with the outcome and would definitely recommend his services to others.

Simon is a true professional! I had an issue with my loft hatch trap door & was unable to close it. So I gave Simon a call after finding his contact details on google search for local Locksmiths. He asked me for a few details & suggested I WhatsApp him a few photos to analyse the problem and he messaged straightaway & arranged to come over the next morning confirming labour cost which was reasonable. He didn't waste time and got on with the job immediately and managed to align the hatch trap door, making the necessary adjustments to the catch & fixed the lock instead of replacing the parts saving me some money. He was honest, polite & considerate and came prepared with his tools and explained what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it. I was so impressed with his work & will definitely recommend him to friends and family and if I ever need a locksmith in future, he'll be my first port of call. I can't rate SMR Locksmiths highly enough. From my first call to the company through to Simon's arrival at the property and installing of requested lock items - they were absolutely and thoroughly professional. Simon was an absolute delight - friendly, professional and quick, and his workmanship was top notch. He turned up promptly at the appointed time, showed his forms of ID without question, and as he worked he fully explained everything he was doing and why. And the cherry on the cake... He cleaned up after himself and left the place looking spick and span!! Result! I am not normally a review writer, but I owed this one to SMR & Simon. I would definitely recommend them 100%.

Simon was very prompt with responses and provided all the information that I needed to choose the right level of security and the locks for me. He also helped me by shaving down the door where it was catching and lift my garden door to the right levels so it would not get stuck on the frame. Everything was left very neat after. Very happy with my new locks!
