Paid money, received nothing, cant cancel subscription!

I have been trying to get my subscription cancelled for 10days now. You have had a sign disabling the cancellation options the whole time. I have sent 2 emails, both ignored. I have explained I needed to cancel the subscription as I won't be here to receive it as going away for a long holiday.
You have now charged me for next months box which I've said I can't receive and want to cancel, and yet still the option to cancel the subscription is not available. I signed up as it said cancel easily any time. Thats absolutely rubbish. Plus I can mention that my first box should of arrived before the end of June and we are on 4th July and I've had absolutely nothing for my £36! Complete con of a company and I will be telling everyone so. Dont touch them with a barge pole

DO NOT SIGN UP!!

DO NOT SIGN UP!!! Please find a better company with good communication where you will actually receive what you pay for. I want to give them zero stars but this isn't an option. Not receiving the boxes I've paid for and they have stopped communicating and replying to emails. Want to cancel but they have removed the option to do this when I log in. Emailed for weeks asking for them to cancel and nothing. Even my bank has sent them instructions to cancel and they're ignoring my bank so now doing a chargeback.

BEWARE! YOU CANNOT CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.

If you try to cancel before the renewal date it says "you can only cancel in the 3 days following the order. Please Wait."
So I waited until this month's order was placed and it says "You have to wait 72 hours after a new order before you can cancel".
Never mind the general shoddiness of late boxes, poor communication and lazy picks.
We've had the exact same chocolate wafers with the same blue and yellow package from about 4 countries this year. Feel like they probably are getting rid of back-stock and these wafers likely aren't even sold in these countries at all.
Plus some of what they send aren't even snacks. They sent out a glucose bar a few months back.. that's for hiking and is thoroughly unpleasant to eat - who is picking these?!
I assumed it would be national favourites or snacks created within that country, like the equivalent of wine gums, cadbury's, and refreshers.. but it's just the same cheap rubbish again and again from europe. Same brands, same snacks, same flavours.. boring.

Boxes are fine, sub management is NOT

Boxes are fine. But cancellation is a huge pain in the butt. Claims you can cancel it yourself on the website, but nothing ever shows up to do so. Just a constant warning about not being able to cancel within 72 hours. Contacting them is met with ridiculous wait times for a reply. The email I sent to cancel my sub took so long to be responded to that they ended up taking payment for ANOTHER month. I'd recommend going with a snack box that's easier to manage your sub with to be honest.

Absolute shambles of a company

Absolute shambles of a company. Just recieved a box I paid for on 4th May (at very end of June). This box was very strangely sent within 24 hours of asking where it was.
4th June box, not review yet (as of 4th July). Emailed 3 times in last week as website doesn't have a cancel subscription function- although it says that it does- now charged again today for another month. What the hell is going on. Although sweets are pretty good stay clear of this company

Avoid unless you like being conned.

One star is simply to generous for this company, they won’t let you cancel your subscription they ignore all emails, Facebook messages, Instagram messages absolutely any way of contacting them they ignore! I want to cancel my subscription they won’t let me, have had to contact the bank to block all further payments and now being escalated to the fraud department to try and get my money back. The boxes are rubbish just junk you can buy in Tesco’s nothing authentic or exotic about the box. Boxes are always missing items, come badly damaged and just absolutely woeful. I couldn’t recommend this company less if I tried! Take my advice if you don’t want to be conned avoid!!!!!!

Avoid at all cost don't even do a trial offer

Absolutely vile in every sense from the contents to the customer service ... if there even is one. The snacks are almost always exactly the same just with different packaging, and I have spent all month trying to unsubscribe from the service there is no option on their website and no response from the so called customer service team

Avoid there if you want a snack based subscription I would pay more for a better one than this absolute piece of s**t

What a fudging disappointment

Well what a f***ing disappointment first the box for May turns up in 29th June and the so called extra compensationary snacks were either missing or didn’t exist in the first place

Hmmm so you went for Bulgaria, from how you describe the issue with a product I would have sworn it was gonna be Angola. Surely it would have been quicker to grab a van and drive to bulgaria to find a replacement product… then again that’s to difficult abit like your cancellation process

Now I have a June order that will probably arrive sometime late July and I can’t wait for another box of wafers from an exotic county such as France .

Honestly new customers. Avoid avoid avoid unless you like overpriced wafers which you can’t cancel

Terrible service

Don't believe the recent good reviews-they are probably false. Had a 3 month gift at end of last year and I really liked it so when I recently got a email deal I signed up to the subscription in April. They have taken 3 payments from me and it's now almost July and I've just received the may box. The contents seem to have got worse and half the stuff I can get from my local Tesco. No idea if I will seey June box.
I've emailed them twice to cancel my subscription and both times they have taken an age to reply. On both occasions they have told me I can do it online but this is not true. I've had to contact my bank to block any payments so hopefully I won't have anymore issues.
Trust me avoid this company

Will not be using again

Will not be using again, I signed up. First box is ofcourse free that didn't come until today. Nearly 2 months later.. they charged me for another box but I wanted it cancelling, they took money out of my account & won't refund me. So I asked if I will be getting another box since I have paid for it, they told me no the payment they've taken will be for the first box, which again was free! Very poor & bad communication, sometimes things change and people want to cancel because they cannot afford it anymore but these will keep on taking you're money & the stuff you get isn't even worth how much you pay.

Will be cancelling Again

So we originally had Snack Surprise a few years ago, the concept was great, delivery and contents really good. We got a little bored after a while, so cancelled. Started again after covid to get some treats back in the house and as I had a promo code I ordered the biggest box. First box should've arrived April it arrived mid May after May's subscription charge had come out on the 5th. I contacted Snack Surprise to be told their was a delay and would receive the box shortly which I did. The content of the box was OK, nothing to shout home about. May's box which I thought would've arrived the end of May, early June, arrived today 29th June. I had sent another email in to ask WISMO and got the same response, delay etc, but don't worry you'll get extra bits in your May box. So it arrive the country was Bulgaria, the Snacks are ok if you like cheap chocolate cakes and peanuts. I went through the box looking for the extra items, none were to be found BUT I did find out I was missing the Chaika Dessert. So not only was my delivery a month late (again) I didn't get the free items promised by Nazia and to top it off I had missing snacks. Nice one Snack Surprise 🤬

AVOID! Do NOT sign up.

Started off ok. HOWEVER, You cannot get hold of anyone at this company. They say online you can cancel your own subscription, this is a LIE! You have to email them. No one will get back to you, they will keep charging you and not delivering anything. I have not received the last two boxes, but continued to be charged. Have reported to Trading Standards, if others are experiencing the same I would encourage you to contact your bank and Trading Standards, as they cannot keep taking money and NOT delivering a product.

Trying to cancel my subscription and get a refund, no meaningful response to my emails, no refund and now sending me another box. So fed up with them. Looking into what I can do to get my money back.

So disappointed

So disappointed. Ordered the June premium box as a special birthday present for a friend and so far it hasn't arrived. Looking at other recent (real) reviews it looks like this is a common theme. I'm very upset to have possibly lost £25 but incredibly glad I didn't sign up to the subscription service. I saw this company advertised via a social media influencer and was duped by the high praise. So far my experience has been misleading and deceitful. Very bad customer service. No one gets back to you when you question them and I hope that other people can be spared the disappointment by steering well clear of a badly run operation.

Absoloute joke of a company I ordered a…

Absoloute joke of a company I ordered a box on the 29th April it still hadn't arrived by the end of May so I cancelled my subscription I messaged the twice to be told my folirst box was on its way then I messaged them again last week to ask where my first box was for them to ask me why I cancelled so I told them about the box not turning up and then they said they were not sending the first box out because they didn't trust me 🤣 because I cancelled my subscription. This company is a joke and I would like to warn anybody that's thinking of trying this company to steer clear ps I do have screenshot of all the messages that were sent

Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. I haven't received a box since the beginning of May. So hard to keep track of which boxes you jave received as they don't dispatch on a set date. No one gets back to you if you try to email.

Snack surprise leave a bad taste with shoddy customer service

The bad actions of this company make me wonder how long it will remain in business. The subscription started off okay but when you try to cancel because the boxes offer minimal value, and the contents inevitably come from countries that produce cheap snacks - they make cancelling as difficult as possible. They also missed sending a parcel in May but didn’t give the option to have a refund. It seems fraudulent to me to deliberately ignore customer instructions to cancel, so I’ll be contacting my card issuer and trading standards to report non authorised use of my credit card. BE WARNED!

False advertising, no customer service, scam artists!

Wish I could give no stars!!! Pathetic excuse of a company. Fake advertising. I was supposed to receive a box from Spain like all other customers...... however I received a Box of almost out of date items from different countries.
I'm still waiting on May's box and June's box. Finally received a tracking number for May's box but it doesn't exist.

You cannot cancel on the website ad advertised, and you cannot get in contact with anyone to get ANY customer service at all.

Boxes are full of alcohol based chocolate or sweets.... lots of nuts and nut based items. Not good if you don't like nuts or alcohol.

How this company is still able to steal people's money in mind boggling.
