I am writing to provide feedback on the services between Paris Est and Strasbourg, and the return journey. Our group travelled 1st Class in a carriage that was full and with standing passengers, several who did not have a 1st Class ticket. The very young guard tried to persuade some to move - they refused, so he just walked-off. Also on the return journey to Paris, a passenger moved our suitcases in order to get his bike into the rack that was already occupied by 2 bikes. The carriage was old, tired and the roof dented & rusty. some of the seats were falling apart. The service needs to be upgraded, very poor.

They cancel or postpone train rides constantly, their website is extremely user unfriendly, their customer support does not help at all (if you manage to reach him), trains are normally old and dirty, staff is not available or immediately is very rude. Avoid if possible.
