SO energy have been a really great company to deal with, they let me know when they require meter readings and though I’ve told them I don’t want a smart meter they have accepted that decision and haven’t pressed me to have one.

They promised to help me get a meter reading done every month, because I’m registered disabled and I’ll be 80 years old next month. However they sent a meter reader round once only. They now send the meter reader only twice a year. They also promised to move my electricity meter off the floor to raise it so I can read it easier. and then they changed their minds. So at 80 years of age I have to get down onto the floor to read my meter every month if I don’t want estimates bills. Do they care about their priority customers? I can’t see that they do.

We have now been a customer for 8 years and Soenergy have managed to maintain both their level of service and competitive rates. I was recently canvassed by one of the big 3 to change when shown the rate i was paying they advised me to stay with Soenergy as they could not get near it. So all the time they are competitive and their customer service maintains its level I shall not be looking to move all I can say is well done Soenergy for maintaining your standards

I have been with SO ENERGY for quite a few years now and have received so much from this company that I have never felt the need to go with another company they have helped me with my gas and electric bills payment plans every year I have been with them I am 76 years old and would not think of changing them anytime soon would recommend them to anyone who needs to change

Been with SoEnergy for year & years - always been helpful, polite & Courteous - Good value although not too keen on Chat Bot used to like to talk nwith a real person - Ages ago used to be able to see yearly usage as a Bar Chart - Now when I click on Energy usage I get nothing or just 00000 ? = useless - Minor issue, every time I open So Energy it reports no reading - please enter your latest reading yet they are fine and colleccted daily ???

I would not recommend So Energy due to their extremely poor customer service.
I recently moved into a rental property which has a broken gas meter. I have spoken to them over chat 3 times, emailed many times, called once and raised two complains. My emails are being completely ignored, they closed the most recent chat instance and the complaints have made no difference. They said they would call me back after I tried calling and they have not.
They simply refuse to fix the issue, I have never experienced such poor customer service. I will be avoiding them in the future.

Just awful, avoid this company. I have been bombarded with calls and emails for smart meter installation. The engineer failed to attend and so energy are refusing to follow ofgems standard £40 compensation.
Apparently I don’t have room for a smart meter but keep getting emails and calls to schedule the booking again???
