Decided to go ahead with Solarcentric after doing a fair amount of research on solar and battery. Had quotes from multiple suppliers. Solarcentric were not pushy in any shape or form and the team really knew their stuff. With them I was able to go through a few iterations of what I wanted, with them explaining the pros and cons of each option. The handled the DNO permissions etc and delivered ahead of schedule. Install was perfect, handover documentation has been spot on. Would have no hesitation in recommending them

In June 2023, SolarCentric installed a Tesla Powerwall to complement my existing Solar PV system. The project was extremely well managed from beginning to end, and I'm very pleased with the experience and the results.

If you don't know, Tesla can be difficult to work with, and jointly SolarCentric and I had to navigate through cancelled orders and price increases, but we managed. All along the way, SolarCentric maintained a good cadence of correspondence and did their utmost to facilitate and expedite the delivery and installation. Come the day of destiny, all went perfectly, and the team were professional, courteous, and tidy (always an important characteristic for what's a relatively significant - and expensive - piece of work).

I'm fully satisfied with the project outcome and fully endorse SolarCentric.

Since the beginning of the industrial revolution our dependence on fossil energy fuelled not only prosperity, but also a lot of suffering and incalculable loss of life through numerous conflicts for the control of the energy sources and the consequences of climate change that we are just starting to experience. I felt I needed to do something concrete.
The good news is that for the first time in human history we have now the tools to produce and store our own electricity and meet our everyday needs (home and moving around in an EV) and stop supporting directly or indirectly all this fossil-fuelled misery.
But the stakes are high because the hope and excitement can quickly transform into a nightmare if the wrong company is providing /installing those tools!
That's why SolarCentric, a serious company investing in professionalism (experience, know-how and good honest communication) was very helpful to me as individual customer. Thanks to Solar Centric team I have seen my project (a battery to store electricity from my PV system) becoming reality in a seamless fashion.
And that's why we need companies like SolarCentric to build this trustful environment around the small scale renewable capabilities and help concerned but hesitant customers willing to make the transition and reduce fossil dependence.

From start to finish, SolarCentric provided a thoroughly professional and excellent service. The initial online consultation with John Bloomfield was reassuring and everything was clearly explained. I was adding SolarEdge to my existing solar panel system. There was no sales pressure, only clear and helpful information.
The actual installation went very smoothly. The team of 2 were professional, polite and efficient. They even helpfully informed me of a minor problem on my roof which needed attention.

When dealing with a company located some distance away (I live in S.W.Scotland), trust is an important ingredient. My contact with SolarCentric was through John Bloomfield and he provided all of the information that I needed promptly and with kindness-maybe the Celtic fringe! I felt entirely able to rely on what I was told.
As regards the installation, the men were superb=tidy, efficient and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Even when it meant that they wouldn't get home to York, they still had time to give me a full explanation about the system.
From start to finish everything was utterly professional.

What a great team! I was referred to Sonnen and SolarCentric by my energy supplier, Shell Energy. A couple of very friendly and helpful zoom calls with John Bloomfield enabled me to take a quick decision on a combined PV panel and storage installation including iBoost and Tigo panel optimisers which allow monitoring of individual panel performance. Despite coinciding with the second national COVID lockdown, the installation went ahead in November more or less as planned and was successfully commissioned without any hiccups.
Everyone involved from John to Jessica Morley who handled the contract admin and Chris Lowe who oversaw the installation were highly efficient and friendly and conveyed a real passion for renewable energy. The subcontractors employed by SolarCentric were also very professional, especially the electrician who worked very long hours to get everything wired up correctly.
I have been very pleasantly surprised at how ‘smart’ the whole system is and how little intervention is required. The wealth of data provided by the Sonnen app as well as the Tigo optimisers will keep me happily occupied through the dark winter months until spring - and the day I can turn on my solar water heating booster.

Our energy company put us in touch with SolarCentric and my initial contact was a zoom meeting with John. A prompt emailed quotation followed with our different options for different size SonnenBatteries. We decided to upgrade our solar system at the same time and have SolarEdge installed at the same time as the battery. The communication throughout has been excellent and the onsite team who have carried out the work were a pleasure to have working at our home. They were extremely professional, very hardworking and clearly passionate about renewable energy. We are delighted with the service we have had end to end from SolarCentric.

It has taken less than a month from my initial enquiry to the completion of my solar battery installation and at every stage of the process Solar Centric have been totally professional and modern in their approach. The essential information for the project was gathered using an online questionnaire with a follow-up Zoom conference where John talked in detail through the options. His fully documented email quotation followed next day with the online Contract. 26 days later the installation team arrived and even under Covid conditions provided exemplary service.
