I've had mostly positive interactions and experiences with the customer service personnel themselves, however I have had significant issues with communication consistently throughout my claim process. I have requested repeatedly for information to be emailed to me during an ongoing claim as I cannot accept phone calls during the work day, however this has not happened. I regularly get calls in the day and then have to sit around on hold for 5 to 10 minutes going through their phone system rather than being communicated with in my preferred manner. Secondly, they have engaged in poor communication throughout, wanting to write off my car after I was hit by an uninsured driver and initially stating that the repair cost estimate was £1500. I requested their breakdown on how their engineers quoted this, and it took 3 weeks before eventually being sent across to me, only for me to find that the actual repair cost was quoted at £1300. This engineers breakdown includes hundreds of pounds of unnecessary parts, cleaning fees and administrative costs which should not have been included as part of their efforts to write off my car rather than settling.
I also had issues where I sent across supporting evidence which was ignored for over a week as it sat in an inbox and was not passed along to the correct team. This is indicative of the overall delays in communication, poor internal communication between different parts of the company and frustrating customer experience.
Ultimately, whilst my dealings with individuals themselves have been pleasant at all points, the process and the company has been deeply frustrating at nearly all points.

This company is the worst company i've been insured with. My car got stolen so I made a theft claim. The investigator was racist and asked questions about my ethnicity and religion. He was also passive aggressive. He was soo bad I doubted he was even qualified. The theft and complaints team have been absoloutely appalling. They fail do document most of my communication. Failed to provide engineers report of my car. Made me wait a month for a police report for a month only to find out that it's not wanted anymore. For 2 months i've had to use public transport as they didnt even provide a courtasy car because it was not "available" only when I mentioned I had spoken to FOS. They started doing their job properly. I have paid nearly 3 grand in full for my car insurance in total and have not recieved the service or outcome that is appropriate. All the staff keep on changing their story. After all this they decided not to pay me out and wrote my car off. They changed the category multiple times and refused to deliver my car back to me. Until I mentioned FOS. I had paid my insurance till July but they are not returning the money back even though I don't have my car.
