This is the worst mental health app on the market. You will not receive help while using this app. Providers don’t answer & they do not have customer service whatsoever so if you’re having an issue just accept that you’re not going to get help ever. This app is designed by the most incompetent human beings to ever walk this planet. if you’re struggling with mental health issues, you’re better off finding resources on your own, because there is nothing Sondermind can do for you.

I had one appointment with SonderMind…
I had one appointment with SonderMind in December 2025. I completed all paperwork prior to my appointment and they billed my personal credit card on file instead of insurance. I emailed and called, but was unable to get this resolved so I submitted a claim to my insurance company. SonderMind also billed my insurance and so my claim was rejected since they already paid SonderMind. I requested a refund, but instead they gave me an account credit. I again requested a refund and that only refunded $18 of the $150 they double billed and remove the account credit. Now it is March 2026 and I received an email from Sonder saying that i haven’t paid. This has been the most stressful company to work with. I wish I had never tried therapy.

Andrew "Drew" Mayo (No Show)
First time doing therapy and I was suggested to go through SonderMind. I got paired up with a therapist by the name of Andrew "Drew" Mayo and I must say I am highly disappointed. I booked my first session with him and had been working myself up to go through with it and then 30 minutes before the session he calls me saying he has to reschedule. This left me not even wanting to but through advice I still did. I rescheduled to two days later and when the time for the session came the Andrew never showed. He then called me after I had left the session already apologizing. This just doesn't look good, especially being a first timer when it comes to therapy. Leaves a really bad taste in my mouth about all of this, especially when you're seeking help.

Impatient and rude
Wendy was impatient and didn't even allow us to have a session. I moved from inside my house to inside my car for privacy from my family of 5. My connection was poor briefly because I needed to disconnect from Wi-Fi. She hung up on me before I could explain the situation, then messaged me she doesn't do outside or vehicle sessions. Shouldn't that be mentioned upfront? She was rude and didn't even try to apologize. Now I feel frustrated and I'm missing out on some therapy I was really needing. She should be punished by whoever certified her.
