Order never arrived and no updates

Thought mine was the odd case but after checking on here it seems I’m not the only one. Ordered a couple of funko pops back in July of last year with an expected delivery date of October. Completely forgot about it until I saw one of the pops now available elsewhere for cheaper (and it had seemingly been available for a while). Decided to check I hadn’t just missed a dispatch email and I hadn’t. Tried contacting the company but after looking here and seeing others weren’t successful and with my buyer protection ending through PayPal in 3 days I decided to report it through PayPal’s resolution centre and got an automatic refund due to when they were supposed to arrive.

Company owes me over £300 in…

Company owes me over £300 in unfulfilled pre-orders dating back as far as 2020. Emailed several times asking for refund. They have told me a refund is on its way as far back as the summer of 2022 and I have received nothing. They are now ignoring all my messages and I haven't heard anything from them in months! Avoid at all costs!!!

Broken promises, no goods, no refund. Crooks

Crooks. Made a pre order in good faith 5 months before item should be available. Paid via paypal. Got in contact around the availability time. Got an email stating they were going through new ownership and my orders would be sent out by end of december. I followed up in early jan and heard nothing back. Tried to enter a buyer protection claim on paypal but was told that 6 months had elapsed so I'm no longer protected. Which was news to me as I thought it was a year. Seems this was a delay tactic. And reading online, there's loads of complaints like this so I guess I can kiss my £80 goodbye. I'm usually pretty savvy online and these guys caught me out. I guess my only option now is to report them to trading standards. These crooks shouldn't be in business!

DONT NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I have previously got funkos from these people and they were great then they started all this pre order and the stuff never arrived even though all the shops have them? Some orders I got a refund but these past few months since they become sonner 2.0 they wont answer emails or give refunds better to look on other sites to get ur funkos as 9 times out of 10 u will never get them off these people. Someone needs to take them down they shouldn't be allowed to steal peoples money in this way

Did not honour order and now ignoring all attempts at contact

Made an order in April 2021. No delivery still in October 2022. Contacted and finally asked for a refund after being very patient and good about it. Had confirmation from Julia that I would receive a refund on 31st October but would have to wait for it due to 'reasons'. Now three months later no sign of a refund and they have now taken to completely ignoring my multiple emails, messages on social media. I expected more from a big company like this. I have been a good customer and this treatment is completely unacceptable. They've lost a customer and would advise anyone else to avoid.

False advertising

Made an order of three items in June, one being a pre-order. I am still awaiting all items. I have contacted them via their website, email, Facebook and Instagram, and have phone three different phone numbers associated with the company, all of which are disconnected. My family drove from London yesterday to visit the shop in person, and we were advised the staff would contact their manager, and to return the next day. We came back that evening half an hour before closing time to see the shop had been shut early, and then again this morning to find the windows boarded up! Upon doing research, we have learned that the company have gone into liquidation and have closed their Salisbury store, but have still been trading online. As the estimated delivery date was 6 months after the order date, it is too late to ask PayPal to intervene meaning we have lost over £100 worth of items.

Avoid at all costs

I was able to claim my money back by opening a Paypal dispute; others may not be as lucky. Vile 'business', owners knowingly taking pre orders for non-existent stock for months, their employees treating it like a joke. Changing their name to 'Portsmouth Collectibles', presumably to escape their debts & outrun their ruined reputation in a Hermes/Evri manoeuvre.

Do not use joke of a company

I cancelled an order back on 12th September 2022 for an a pre order they couldn’t give me an exact date to complete order so order the items via another company that had them in stock and I still have not received my refund as of 9th January 2023 despite numerous emails chasing this up. Absolute joke of a company with terrible customer service will never use them again

Pre-order item never received in stock, not refunded.

Pre-order item never received in stock, and although I was initially able to get a reply saying I'd be refunded, the refund never happened. Subsequent attempts at communication ignored. I'll change my review if the refund comes through, but currently they aren't fit for trading, and I would avoid. No phone number to talk to customer service, either, very sketchy.

Pre-ordered a limited edition figure. Around a year later never came. Lies after lies from customer service untill they just stopped replying when I asked for a refund. Had to go via bank for refund.

Cowboy company and would give a wide berth. Check Google reviews for all 1 star!

I placed a pre order back in July 2022, was fobbed off saying they were chasing the stock after the expected arrival date passed and now have been completely ignored after asking for a refund. I assume I will never see my money again. Avoid.

Avoid Sonner Toys

Great first experience when I ordered for my son Xmas presents but I then pre ordered a Darth Maul figure in December 2021 and I have still not recieved it as at January 2023. I have emailed several times and messaged on Facebook messenger asking for an update and then a refund and I have just been ignored. I am very disapointed as initially they seemed like a genuine and professional business. I would not deal with this business again and would warn others from doing so.

A bunch of liars

Waited well over a year with no sign of my pre-order.

Asked for a refund was advised it could take up to 30days.

Company has not provided refund it’s 2 months now. Completely ignoring my e-mails.

Lets face it none of us are getting our money back.

Don’t know how they can sleep at night.

I will never buy from this company again. Awful customer service. Don't respond to emails and when they do it's just excuses. Waiting on a Funko ordered around Jan 2022...paid for via paypal pay in 3, so they've had my money. Asked for a refund if they can't fulfil the order and still nothing. If anyone from Sonner Toys bothers to read this review, can you just refund the money that you owe me. Order #30552
Note for future Sonner Toys, if you can't provide the goods then don't advertise them on your website. I don't mind a bit of a wait for a pre-order but come on, over a year, that's just a joke!!!

This company has stuck off

This is BULLSH!T. This company has been struck off on 27thDec, 2022. Still the website are open for pre orders and orders. I have been lost £102 from them and recieve nothing. Hope that no one will fall into the trap like me. I am reclaiming my refunds from my bank, also provided the document needed. And they said I possibly can get my money back. Good luck!
