I had never heard of this shop,I walked past and popped in and oh my goodness,how pleasantly surprised I was! What a gem of a shop,all the little nik naks and an amazing little craft corner,where the seed beads were amazing.I spent way too much money but,everything was so reasonably priced.The staff were very friendly and helpful.This shop was in Guildford and although I live 18 miles away,im going back again very soon.

Ordered several items, one cabinet (€60) just didn’t arrive. I tried to contact them via the helpdesk but didn’t get any response…

I had no choice but to put one star in to get this post up.

Never ever, ever, ever order from their website. It’s an absolute nightmare of a process. If they do ship an item to you, once it leaves their side, they wipe their hands of it and leave you with poor customer service, leaving you chasing your item and in the end you have no clue if it even gets to you. My item was ordered on the 16th March and I have no item still.

We did get an email this morning which they stated:

"We have received a response from the carrier stating that the parcel will be returned to our warehouse, after which we will refund you for the order as soon as the parcel has arrived."

So they direct the parcel I order back to them!? They don't discuss with us they found the item and will ensure it gets to us? Wow.

Furthermore we had another post up here and they broke the GDPR act by listing my full name here. Be very careful giving them your details online as they will break laws and share your personal details to other parties.

We have now asked for a formal refund. I look forward to our refund and never ever will order online with them again. What a nightmare.

I used to shop from this site and their physical stores ALL the time, but I noticed last year they started advertising a "Free Shipping over 35€" banner on their site. Except after you finish shopping and go to checkout you find out shipping is only free if it's to a pickup point, with very limited options. They're clearly counting on the fact that people won't give up after they've spend a while filling their cart. If you're not offering free home delivery, then you can't advertise a blanket "Free Shipping" claim. This is false advertising, which there are laws against.
I emailed the site to tell them that, and they never bothered responding, so they lost a faithful customer. Everything they sell is easy to find elsewhere, so I won't be missing them.

Edited to reply : I am not talking about the limited promotion you are having this week, I am talking about the permanent Free Shipping banner you display all year long on your website.

I bought some wooden frames as they seemed to be a good price and I expected nice scandi quality to price ratio. The frames were pretty flimsy and frustrating to use. I wish I paid £20 extra and got some better quality ones instead. All in all, you get what you pay for, and even though the products look nice in pictures - it's pretty cheap flimsy stuff.

This happened at the Toulouse shop (France). I bought a tea advertised as lemon and Jasmin tea, but when I brewed it, it was mint tea, and I cannot stand the taste of mint tea.
I went to the shop to swap for another tea, I was told nothing could be done, as I could have swapped it myself (!!!).
I also saw their notice saying even though their yarn was advertised as "bio", it was just oeko tex.
I went to check the origin of the yarn, and it was all from a country that practices mulesing on sheep and has no animal welfare yarn.

Visited the whitely store for the first time, the store sells great stuff at good prices. However, they do need to get their price labels right because we bought something and it scanned different to the price label on the shelf, they'd mislabelled the item. Also some items like the serviettes said 'from £1.99' so who knows how much they were!
The chap on checkout could actually smile more and be a little more friendly, and be nice to be given a receipt, he didn't even offer a receipt.
Also by the checkouts they have a display and its quite dangerous because you're not actually looking down that low, and not only did I almost fall over it, but I noticed 2 other people also did the same. Its an accident waiting to happen!
I will visit again though because it is local and I liked it, just a few teething problems.

A great company to buy from! Everything I ordered was just as I'd hoped, arrived well packed, and so very reasonable in price. I loved every purchase and I'll be buying again in the future.

Lovely range of products. Simple ordering and quick delivery. Excellent customer service too, they respond promptly and look to resolve any issues. No stress or argument. Will definitely use again.

Lovely rattan stool which arrived quickly and was as described.

Can't even order from website. It shows that it delivers to my country (Latvia) but when I try to order it says that address is wrong, and when I try to edit it, it says that they don't ship orders outside the selected country. :(

Ease of ordering and quick delivery, packaged well and beautiful items. It’s hard not to order everything!

The service was very polite & helpful, with a friendly & personal touch.
Even though my purchase arrived broken, it was obviously the fault of the postal service because the package had been bashed in. My refund was sorted promptly with sincere apologies. It would not put me off buying from this company again, as the products are lovely & the customer service is great.

I love this company, I first heard of it a while ago on instagram. It sells good quality items with plenty of choice. It offers seasonal items as well as household & craft items.
Also you get little messages from Anna &Clara which makes the experience a little more special.

Received seed beads in a cardboard envelope; one vial opened (not secured in any way) and they spilled onto my sofa.

The choice of items I was looking for at Sostrene Grene was great, the website easy use. Also the prices were fantastic. Delivey was speedy. It was my first time shopping there, I will be back

Ordered online a week ago. But still not dispatched. Sent emails a few times but ignored. Almost feels like a con. I am disappointed. I still want the items but will they ever be dispatched?

Update: the order has just arrived without any notification. The tracking link and tracking number you gave were all wrong -the tracking still shows it was not received. You must give right tracking number when you post order. Please investigate what is going on and hopefully this will not happen anymore.
