I purchased the SV04 IDEX printer. The printer did not work out of the box and I was not able to complete a print. The extruders would wander off and then return or crash into one another. I sent a support request and they answered very quickly (next business day.) They suggested flashing the firmware and sent the latest version. This solution worked and the printer works fine now. I would have flashed the firmware before contacting the company, but the version of the firmware on the website was 1.1.0, older than the version on the printer I bought and older that the one that sent by the company (1.1.4). I would suggest they update the firmware on the website, but other than that I was happy with the quick reply to fix the problem.

Fast delivery, best prices, good quality in hardware. Horrible quality in software.

The shipping was very very slow for the bed. They did not ship till I asked if they were ever going to ship it. Almost 2 months

***THE MACINE IS SHOOTING SPARKS*** I have a lightly used machine I bought brand new. It just stopped working. I've been trying to resolve the issue with Sovol, but they just keep passing me to a different person to deal with. At this point the only thing more pathetic than the printer itself is the people who work at Sovol!

Accidentally fried the tool-head adapter board on the SV08. After emailing support, I had a replacement shipped to me in 9 days. From China to US to me in 9 days is fairly impressive.

Delivery estimates were not met initially, and lead time on certain accessories is too long, but after-sales service has been amazing. Their support has always responded in the promised 1 business day and when I had a part break on my printer they sent me a replacement free of charge.

They badly failed me at the beginning. I had preordered in the first 5 minutes, waited two weeks to to supposed launch, and then learned I had to wait an additional month for my order to be shipped even though people who ordered a month after me began to get theirs first. Even Europe got theirs first, and it launched a month after my order should have arrived. I bailed at that point due to that and some issues with the printer others had at launch. Now, 4 months later, I got one, and it works very well after some adjustment of things that were supposed to be automatic. It's a good printer and worth upgrading.

I have been very happy with my purchase, it works as described I just need to increase my knowledge of 3d printing. This was my first 3d printer and had little difficulty getting it setup and running. Fine tuning will take me some time but I believe there's a steep learning curve

Great printer has some problems with the nozzle but great support.

Received laser, easy set up and worked immediately... yay... thus ends the good part. within a few days it stopped working. I contacted support, they said they wanted a video and then didn't respond until the next day. Then they told me new video... and another day... then they told me to try what I said I had already done... I have no idea where it ends, but I contacted a lawyer today to actually resolve things

In the end, I took the loss. Sovol3d can go to Hades.

P.S. Using an A.I. to respond (literal years later) does nothing positive for your credibility.

This company sent me a broken 3D printer. It was defective out of the box. I initially requested to return the printer. They insisted on sending me parts and having me attempt to fix the printer. After two months of emails back and forth and multiple parts shipments, they gave up and told me to return the printer. They refuse to give me a full refund for the initial purchase because they won't refund the initial $50 shipping fee since they can't get a refund from UPS.

I ordered the printer via the webpage and then asked the Sovol Team to ship it fast. What to say. It was at my home 1 day later. Perfect support. Thank you.

After installing the printer it worked without Anycubic of the issues. OK Z Calibration is terrible but I can fix it manually. The fan is too noisy and the Nozzles are the old ones still shipped.

But, the printer is printing very well and clean when all is calibrated. The service and support were awesome.

Hope Sovol does more firmware updates and goes to KLIPPER Mainline.

All in all a very very good printer with lot of fun to tinker and expand. Best Sovol machine yet. Print results are amazing in PLA. Thank you

I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase of the Sovol SV08 3D printer. This machine has truly elevated my 3D printing experience in ways I didn't even think possible.

First off, the Klipper firmware is a game-changer. The increase in processing speed and accuracy is noticeable right out of the box. Features like "Input Shaping" and "Pressure Advance" have made my prints flawless from edge to edge, and "PID Tuning" has kept the temperature perfectly stable. My prints are coming out better than ever, with fewer errors and much higher quality.

The Quad-Gantry-Leveling (QGL) system is another feature I absolutely love. It uses four independent Z motors to level the entire gantry smoothly and accurately. This has drastically reduced the number of print failures I experience, and it's even capable of detecting and compensating for any wear or damage over time. The level of precision this adds to my prints is incredible.

The CoreXY kinematics system is also a fantastic addition. By reducing the moving mass and improving motion control, my prints are completed much faster without losing any quality. The acceleration and movement speed of the toolhead are impressive, making the whole printing process quicker and more efficient.

What really stands out, though, are the linear rails on all seven axes (4Z+2Y+1X). The smooth and precise motion they provide has made a world of difference in the quality of my prints. Every movement is accurate and consistent, resulting in prints that are incredibly detailed and smooth.

Overall, the Sovol SV08 has surpassed all my expectations. It's a reliable, high-performing printer that delivers top-notch results every time. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced 3D printing enthusiast, I highly recommend the SV08. It's a purchase you won't regret!

Great customer service and communication. I ordered an SV08 printer on release day and was given a 2 month ETA; perfectly reasonable considering these printers were being shipped out via freight from China. The estimated delivery was mid-June but delays occured for one reason or another. I contacted Sovol via email to inquire about my order status and customer support was prompt to update me regarding delays in logistics, which were outside of their control. The moment the order was picked up by courier I was emailed and provided a tracking number.

Just received the printer and it was well-packaged and performs flawlessly. Overall, a pleasant experience for a launch-day 3D printer.

Good value printers, offering feature set well above their price tag. I have the SV06+ SV07+ T300 and SV08, all working without major issues ever since I got them. There were minor issues with the T300 and SV08 which were quickly resolved by the friendly team at Sovol. I think they upgraded their customer service since the early days, based on my experience I can recmmend them.

I own both a SV05 and SV08, and both are awesome machines. I have done a lot of upgrading to the SV05, SV08 is still fairly stock so far. The machines are Open Source, where they can, especially the newer ones. Company Reps are extremely responsive to issues, and helping with problems very quickly.

I began my journey with sovol in 2022 with the SV01 second hand with the support of all the YouTube 3D printer groups, I was able to get through a lot of the issues.
I then purchased the sv06. What a great machine. I did a lot of modifications and upgrades and then sold it and moved to the
SV07 which is now what I call my dragon slayer it prints out beautiful dragons among other things since the merge with Comgrow I now have the T300 had some issues with the nozzle. Which tech support replaced immediately?
I then purchased the SV 01 pro. Had some issues with the touch screen. Tech support sent me out another one and then the hot end was giving the issues through my warranty. They send out another one and a motherboard but I have yet to put that together since I received my SV08 all I can say about it so far is WOW.
Bottom line, if you communicate and supply videos of issues, the tech team and Ben will always be there for you. That's my experience. Thank you, Sovol team
