Fly Predators Work

About five years ago we brought our two horses home to live with us versus being boarded at a local barn. Even though our local barn uses and recommended that we use Fly Predators when we brought our horses home, we didn’t and we were overwhelmed with flies. Since that first, unfortunate fly season, we have used Fly Predators each year with much success. We now have five horses! We do maintain a clean paddock, as recommended by Spaulding Labs. I am reminded how well the Fly Predators work when visitors ask “…where are all of the flies?” They assume flies go hand-in-hand with horse ownership. I am pleased that Fly Predators are affordable and work as advertised. I do recommend buying the Fly Predators brand versus the imitation product.

I have used Fly Predators for around…

I have used Fly Predators for around ten years now at my home property of 2 1/4 acres, where my horse is literally "in the front yard". Before FP, I used sprays, wipes and "drip on" type products. I hated putting those chemicals on him and they worked for just a short time before needing to be re-applied. Yuck. After just one batch of FP, I noticed a HUGE reduction in flies on my gelding. I was impressed! I was hooked after that first summer and have used them ever since to great effect. I love that these are all-natural with zero nasty chemicals needed anywhere which is so much better for my horse's health as well as the environment. My horse and I are so happy we found these lil critters. I make sure to order early every year. Thank you!

We have a small ranch with some sheep

We have a small ranch with some sheep. We have used Spalding's fly predators since we moved here. We have very few flies, even in mid-summer. I have also used them at previous locations to good effect.

It is amazing what a big impact these little fly predators can make in the barn fly population. When I first heard about the fly predators I was skeptical but decided they were a try. Am I ever glad I did! Almost no barn flies, no flies around the house and no nasty fly "spots" left on tack, tools or feeders.

GREAT PRODUCTS!

I've been using Spalding fly predators for over 20 years now, in 4 different locations, and they work great in every situation. They work so well that I had never even had to use fly spray on my new horse until we went into the mountains. The first morning I used a well known fly spray, my horse broke out in hives every place he'd been sprayed. I then bought fly spray from Spalding and not only does it work, it doesn't cause hives!

They absolutely work…

They absolutely work and the company service is amazing. I am on a regular schedule. They have knowledge about fly production no matter where you live. Love bye bye Oder, use it for my home as well, I take care of my elder parents. Works great when they have an accident and can’t make it to the bathroom. I mop it up, spray bye bye Oder, mop it up and no more pee smell. The fly spray is not desirable, it kicked me into an asthma attack.

Couldn't be happier with the results

Couldn't be happier with the results! We've used the product for almost 20-years, and we swear by them. Keeps our horse paddocks, barn, and backyard with far less flies than any other product we've tried.

I have used predator flies from…

I have used predator flies from Spalding Labs for several years. They do not get rid of all the flies on our little farm, but they sure make the fly problem much more manageable. In the worst fly months, we definitely still need to use fly spray on our horses but the flies are not eating them up or causing them to be miserable. My daughter works at a horse farm where they do not use predator flies and even when I think the flies are bad here, she assures me it is nothing here compared to other barns around that don’t use the flies. As long as we have horses, I will continue to buy flies from Spalding. The flies arrive as scheduled and when they begin hatching I just pour them out on as many piles of fresh poop that I can find. It’s so easy…and safe.
