Absolutely terrible customer service.. this should be a 0 star review. Ordered 2 water pumps for a mercedes marine engine and paid for express shipping as they were needed urgently. They arrived later than expected and unfortunately one was delivered with the wrong gaskets. I tried to contact spareto via there customer service but its all just automated chat bot. I sent then 7 emails over the course of 6 weeks and did not get a single reply. I then disputed the purchase with Paypal and they emailed me within 2 days of opening the dispute. It then Took another week for them to send out the correct part. No offer of compensation at all and when I asked for the express shipping charges to be refunded they refused. They said they could not offer any compensation despite not having the correct products for over 2 month. Terrible company and absolutely horrible customer service.

I have placed several orders with Spareto and every experience has been great. The parts were exactly as described, well packaged, and arrived in good condition.

Shipping to Mexico was smooth and faster than expected, considering it’s an international delivery. Tracking information was clear and accurate, and customer communication was solid throughout the process.

Prices are very competitive compared to local options, and the product selection is excellent. I’ve ordered multiple times already and will definitely continue using Spareto for future car parts purchases.

Was a bit skeptical after seeing some of the reviews ordering from this place, people saying long shipping and bad customer service. I have an amazing experience.
The parts I wanted were out of stock, and more or less straight away artur emailed me explaining, we came to an agreement to ship the equivalent available at the same price.
Parts came quick after all was confirmed, full timeline of delivery gets emailed to you

Parts are always well priced and delivery is always super fast. I have purchased a large amount of parts over the years for numerous cars. I have always been very happy with the service.

Hidden post-checkout charges + attempted deductions (PayPal ruled in my favor)

I do not recommend buying from Spareto.com.

I placed an order and paid a final checkout total including DHL Express shipping. After the order was dispatched, I was hit with additional charges that were never disclosed during checkout, including “customs fees” and even a “return fee”.

What made this unacceptable is that these fees were not shown, estimated, or warned about before payment, meaning I had no way to make an informed decision at checkout.

Later, Spareto generated a new order summary after payment that increased the total dramatically by adding:

“DHL customs fees charge”

“DHL return fee”

They also stated they would deduct these charges from my refund, despite the fact they were not part of the original checkout.

I opened a PayPal dispute, provided evidence (original checkout, emails, updated order summary), and PayPal ruled the case in my favor.

This was a stressful experience and I consider these post-checkout undisclosed charges a serious transparency issue. I cannot trust this store for future purchases and I advise others to be cautious.
