Laura at Specialist Care Ltd. was an absolutely invaluable part of my surgical experience and recovery.

From a couple of weeks before surgery, she took the time to make sure I felt fully prepared — talking me through what to expect, sending links to helpful things to buy, giving practical advice on sleeping, eating, healing, and even the emotional side of recovery. She explained the little things that make such a difference and made the whole process feel manageable and far less daunting.

What makes Laura exceptional is not just her clinical knowledge, but her manner. She has the warmth, humour and reassurance of a close friend, combined with the calm confidence of somebody who truly knows facelift recovery inside out. No question ever felt unwelcome, and every message was answered incredibly quickly. Knowing she was there meant I never felt anxious, lost, or unsure about what was happening at any stage of recovery.

She is compassionate, calm, practical, knowledgeable and incredibly emotionally intelligent. She somehow manages to make you feel as though you are her priority at all times, never rushed, never dismissed, and always completely supported.

I genuinely believe having Laura’s support contributed enormously to how positive and smooth my recovery was. The level of care she provides is exceptional, and anyone going through surgery would be lucky to have her by their side throughout the process.

Laura’s support throughout my recovery has been incredible, constantly providing support and advice. I’m an overthinker and it was great to have Laura available to answer all of my questions and alleviate my concerns at such at daunting time.

Laura provides an amazing service after having surgery. She was a huge support to me prior to having an arm lift and after having the surgery too. She is friendly and easy to talk to- not just about the physical elements of recovery but the mental element as well. No matter what day or time I messaged her she would respond pretty much instantly either with messages or a call. Her advice has meant that i am healing really well and doing everything I can to get the best result from my surgery. Highly recommend Laura and her service!

I had constant support from Laura and she made me feel like no question or concern was a silly one.

Having the surgery I had is a huge deal and Laura knew each day and week how I would feel emotionally as that's one thing people don't discuss is the toll on you emotionally cosmetic surgery can have. I was made to feel heard and given reassurance which is what I needed as the recovery was at times worrying.

Having the ability to contact a specialiast nurse like Laura during recovery at any time is hugely beneficial.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nurse to help me through my recovery after my arm lift surgery. Laura was always there for me, day or night on whatapp/call and never made me feel like I was a bother. Always checking in on me to see if I am ok. I do struggle with health anxiety but she was incredibly patient, reassuring and understanding. So caring, kind and really knows her stuff, which gave me so much reassurance. Very easy to chat to and made the whole experience feel much more relaxed and positive. I’m so grateful for all of Laura’s support.

This is the second time Laura has been my post op nurse. Just as before she was there for me anytime I needed her. She always answered quickly ensuring any concerns or worries I had were quickly and thoroughly dealt with. Post op healing can be quite anxiety provoking and I found I needed her assurance a fair amount. I felt safe in Laura’s care and trusted her judgement which made recovery feel very smooth.

I received a first class service from Laura. After my surgery, she was there to answer any questions and reassure me of any concerns I had. It’s a huge decision to go ahead with surgery and you don’t think about how you are going to feel afterwards - having Laura by your side is a huge comfort and benefit. I am so pleased the surgeon I went to, offered her post op services. She genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to help. Highly recommend Laura and Specialist Cosmetic Care.

I could not recommend Laura more. The care and attention before and after my procedure was first class. As a nervous patient Laura was a constant source of reassurance. No question was too small or irrelevant, her knowledge and calming demeanour was everything I needed. No matter the time or day Laura responded swiftly to any concern and was able to reassure and advise on everything, not just medically but also with care of feelings/ Should I need a procedure in the future I would 100% request again.

Available anytime I needed her and extremely responsive, she also made appropriate recommendations and escalated to my surgeon where needed and without any delay. I am very grateful and impressed.

Laura supported me through post-operative recovery. She was very helpful, quick respond (including out of hours) and explained everything clearly. She was proactive with suggestions throughout the process. Thoroughly recommended.

Laura was amazing from the very first call all the way through to when I had healed and was back to normal. Whenever I messaged, whatever time of day Laura would respond so quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Her knowledge and experience meant she could put my mind at rest straight away. Laura was a great source of information and comfort during my post op ETT and BL procedures. Anytime day or night she would always respond extremely quickly and with lots of ideas to aid comfort and recovery. I would have been lost without her at the end of the phone. Laura is an absolute godsend. Knowledgeable, honest and responsive- and very caring. Everything you need when recovering from surgery. I can’t recommend the service highly enough for anyone wanting expert aftercare advice at the end of the phone.

Laura is very friendly, supportive and approachable. She answered all my messages promptly and efficiently. She is very helpful eg if I needed to contact my specialist with a concern or the clinic to change an appointment. She stays in regular contact, even when I was doing well. She is positive, encouraging and motivational eg when I wanted to know realistic expectations of stages in recovery. She is always very informative and has even given me advice for future care eg when I go on holiday next year.
Everyone needs a Laura!!

Having this great service really puts your mind at ease. Knowing you have them on call anytime .
