Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the high prices, noting that many items were significantly more expensive compared to other stores, often feeling that pricing was misleading. There were frequent complaints about the quality of products, particularly produce, which was often found to be rotten, stale, or of questionable freshness, and prepared meals that tasted poor. Reviewers also mentioned issues with the deli and "grab n go" sections, citing concerns about the quality and freshness of prepared items. Some people were dissatisfied with the staff, reporting instances of unhelpful, condescending, or rude behavior, and difficulties getting assistance. Second time purchasing prepared meals that looked good, but tasted poor. Probably healthy, but if it tastes bad, why bother with it? Vitamins & supplements, Bakery, deli, produce Ok. All else: Nope.

Very unhappy with sprouts just charging…

Very unhappy with sprouts just charging a dime for a bag without telling me. I had a few items and could have walked out with them. It was only a dime but it was my dime! I didn't need a dime bag littering up my place. There are other places to shop.

The sprouts in Brandon Florida used to…

The sprouts in Brandon Florida used to be a nice store to shop in not anymore, I had to have the cashier repeat herself twice because I don’t understand somebody when they don’t open their mouth and actually speak, mumbling is not my language and my hearing is perfectly fine! What the employee was trying to explain was that I needed to pay 10 cents for a bag, what the heck!! Really this company is a joke!! I had 4 items and an umbrella was I supposed to balance the items I got on my head, absolutely ridiculous!!

i've shopped at sprouts quite a bit

i've shopped at sprouts quite a bit. I enjoy their meat products. Today at checkout I saw that they are asking me to round out for some sort of donation for kids. This is an obvious scam. It's just a way to get money into the pockets of administrators and executives through BS accounting tricks. I don't enjoy being scammed when I go to a store. I will never shop at sprouts again because of the scam that they put on the register at check out. They are dishonest company. I would advise not shopping there. The prices are too high anyways.

Reliable produce market

Reliable produce market. You do get what you need. At the same time not much positive surprise either.

Seems like shifting target customer to more highly educated, physically fit or healthy oriented and higher in social-economic status. As long as you are in the range of ideal customer for them Sprouts Farmers Market is great. If not probably not.

10cents for plastic bag? Welcome to international standards.

Go back to California

I went to Sprouts today to pick up a few items. When I arrived at the register the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag and inform me that they were 10 cents each. Just another liberal socialist Komifornia store. This is Arizona, not California. We don't even charge CRV fees. Get out of our state. You've lost another customer.

Latest Sprouts scam

Sprouts is already overpriced and overwoke. I go there once in a while knowing I will be gouged but I begrudgingly accept it for food with less chemicals. Imagine my suprise at the checkout when they are now charging .10 per bag as some sort of “save the environment” con. That was the last straw. Like they don’t make enough by overpricing their stock. I am done with them as this latest scam is more than I can stomach. Shame on them for extorting 10 cents from people who really can’t afford it. If they really care about the environment, go paper! Scumbag move Sprouts!

Sprouts is now charging 10cents a bag…

Sprouts is now charging 10cents a bag to bag our groceries. I was until this point a loyal customer with Sprouts. The 10 cents a bag is a total insult. I complained twice to Sprouts on their website and they have not bothered to get back to me. This is a horrible policy and I will be shopping at Whole Foods for now on. Unless someone wakes up and stops charging me for bags to bag my groceries.

I shopped at Sprouts over the weekend

I shopped at Sprouts over the weekend, and I was shocked about how they charged me 10 cent for a plastic bag for the groceries I purchased there.
So, now I will have to just bring my own bags to this grocery store...It looks like times are getting hard for this grocery stores too...what a shame.

Good produce and organic items

Good produce and other organic items with convenient location. A bit pricey but quality has not dropped. Other countries are far ahead of the US in trying to reduce plastic bag debris/pollution. Kudos to Sprouts for trying to make a difference with their new bag policy. Will help retrain me to bring my cloth bags.

One lost customer.

First they stopped carrying meat without added growth hormones.
Now they've joined the global warming bandwagon with the plastic bags.

Charging 10 cents for plastic bags now!

Okay.. I shop at Sprouts because it is mostly organic and is close to where I live. Just stopped in today and spent $250 and she asked if I would like to buy a bag to put my groceries in! Not a insulated bag or anything like that. Just the plastic cheap bags that have always been free. As of May 29, 2023, Sprouts now charges 10 cents a bag! Sorry Sprouts, I'll drive the extra couple of miles and will start spending my money at Whole Foods. As if groceries aren't expensive enough now, now they want to make more money off of us by charging 10 cents for a cheap little plastic grocery bag. Boycott Sprouts and hopefully they get the message and change this craziness back to the way almost every other grocery does... you buy groceries, they give you a bag to put your purchase in.
Not only do we have to ring our own groceries and bag them, now we have to pay for those plastic bags!!!

Stop Being So Lazy

This is Branham Sprouts. Went there first day of a sale for bacon, Wednesday. Bacon behind the case was leftovers, gone through many times, scraps. Wanted 4 lbs. Asked for new bag where bacon will be stacked. Plan on freezing in portions when I got home. Was told by the lady helping me, no, there's no more. Didnt want to bother. So she continues to bag 2 lbs x 2 for me. I realize she didnt have enough to give me 4 lbs total. She will have to open a new package. Mind you, first day of a week-long sale. So I turned around and said forget it. Im going to another Sprouts. Yeah, great customer service. NOT.

I was harassed about my service animal

I was harassed about my service animal. I have shopped at Sprouts for many years, never had a problem until tonight at 4020 S Rainbow Blvd. around 4:30/5 p.m. I was harassed by "Nick" "security" and "Sherri" a "manager" asking me if my dog had a leash. My dog is ADA trained and they did not ask the legal appropriate questions. Nick continued to stand guard treating me like a criminal demanding a leash. I called my dog trainer asking him what I should do. He told me they don't know the laws so just ignore them and walk away. As I started to walk away "Nick" smirked at me and said, "Ma'am yea I know you just called your husband". Absolutely appalled at their behavior toward me and seriously shocked at their lack of knowledge of the ADA laws!!!!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. This store is just about marketing and spreading a lie; it has nothing to offer, and it has nothing to do with a farmer's market. It is just mini Whole foods with fewer choices and expensive Items. Their fruits and vegetables are the same as the ones you find in any other store: Walmart and Publix..their prices are the same or high compared to any other store, and the choices are limited. If they had anything good to offer they will not need to put out so many ads, they are everywhere. This is what corporate America became: spend $millions to promote lies. I visited their store 1 time, I will never go back again.

Sprouts refused to honor their advertised discount

We had shopped regularly at Sprouts on Signal Butte Rd in Mesa AZ since they opened about two years ago and always had friendly service until now ...... We bought, among other things, 6 bottles of wine which should have qualified for a 10% discount per their instore display label, which stated "10% off wine when you buy four or more". The cashier maintained that it only applied to each set of four bottles and as I had six the discount would not apply to the other 2. I pointed out that I had seen a label which offered the discount on 4 or more but was told if I bought another two I could have the discount on all bottles. I reminded her that the offer should apply to 4 or more but said ok charge me for another 2 and I will get them.
I ran back to the wine shelves but initially did not see another 2 of what I had bought but knelt down on the floor and on an empty looking bottom shelf there were just 2 at the very back which I retrieved and returned to the check out where my wife was in process of paying.
I showed the cashier the label but she would not even look at it. The customer behind me accused me of jumping the line and I told him I was there before him and there was a problem with the transaction. He started arguing and was very abrasive so I told him to just shut up and mind his own business.

In my opinion, the store was 100% at fault for refusing to honor their advertised offer or for that matter even to investigate and discuss it. The cashier should have sent someone to the wine dept to retrieve another two bottles anyway. Cashier was very rude and assistant was just plain unhelpful.
Label was totally misleading and store should have handled the issue more professionally.

The new Sprouts on 56th& Tower road: the deli meat guy gave me The worst customer service ever. I spoke with management and it appears that they are covering up for him. No one deserves to be treated like they are from mars.

Don't Value Customors

Employee made error filling Instacart order. Called before arrived to ask for help cause driving 2 hours to store. Manager refused to rectify their error, which would have been easy to do. (Greensboro, NC store.) Since we vote with our dollars, I will never shop there again. Back to giving my dollars to Whole Foods even though I hate Amazon. At least their employees are competent and the managers will try to help you.
