Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the high prices, noting that many items were significantly more expensive compared to other stores, often feeling that pricing was misleading. There were frequent complaints about the quality of products, particularly produce, which was often found to be rotten, stale, or of questionable freshness, and prepared meals that tasted poor. Reviewers also mentioned issues with the deli and "grab n go" sections, citing concerns about the quality and freshness of prepared items. Some people were dissatisfied with the staff, reporting instances of unhelpful, condescending, or rude behavior, and difficulties getting assistance. Terrible customer service at the…

Terrible customer service at the Sprouts located at, 2530 Cumberland Blvd Smyrna, GA. The employees and manager are all lazy, one black female cashier refused to check me out through the regular checkout line, was told I had to use self-checkout. This was false. She was being lazy and clearly never heard of customer service. Asked for manager, white male his attitude and conduct matched the cashier. Go figure. I like Sprouts, but not this particular location. I do not recommend shopping here.

Chicken must have frozen by magic!

Just as I picked up a pack of perhaps 8 fresh chicken thighs, I asked a man who was filling the display cases with other meat products if the chicken had been frozen. He gave me a very clear "no, never." So I was surprised to find that when I got home, I could not separate the thighs because they were frozen together ... very frozen together.

The next time I was in the store (In Thornton) I asked to speak with a manager and told him my experience. He was adamant that what I described was impossible: that the chicken could not have been frozen. I suggested that this incident much have been a sort of magic. He maintained that it could not have been frozen. I was not asking for a refund or any special treatment, just a clarification. I like some of the products Sprouts carries, but I will no longer purchase any meat or poultry items.

The employees do what they can, but management and corporate are corrupt and greedy

I'm sure service at locations can vary...some have great customer service and others are an absolute joke, but the employees can only do so much (or are incentivised to do so little) when store management and corporate office do everything they can to squeeze juuuuust a little more blood from the stone. They saw record profits during COVID, and have been chasing those dollar signs in every way they can think of...though they can't think much further than, "let's take it away from our employees!" They pile more and more onto workers, yet when it comes time for evaluations they find any and every reason to keep from giving them money. They use a 5-point evaluation scale, yet management openly says they'll never give a 5, or even a 4.5, because "nobody's perfect". So why use an impossible metric? That's like saying you'll pay someone a billion dollars to sleep, but only if they do it for 25 hours in a single day. If it isn't even possible, why offer it? They get contracts from companies to guarantee their products on shelves, regardless of whether it sells or not, forcing individual stores to LITERALLY order product to either sell at a loss or throw away every week. And that's IF the warehouses they contract with even send the right items - I've seen a single department take on hundreds of dollars in mispicked items PER delivery, not to mention damaged and outdated items as well. When faced with evidence of that massive amount of shrink, what did corporate do? Fix it? Nope, they wrote the employee up for "wasting time and chasing ghosts", even though she had managed to score over $25k in credits on these issues in her first six months alone, likely exceeding half a million before finally giving up and walking away. You can only beat your head against a wall for so long, you know?

What happens to customer service?

The first time I went to Sprouts located on Old Spanish Trail (Houston, TX) I was impressed by the vegs and cleanliness of the store so I went back this morning and to my surprise, the vegs were not fresh, the store pretty dirty, the attitude of the clerk at the deli counter was awful and it seemed to annoy her to serve the customers. Masks mandate was non-existent and the cashier kept sneezing, coughing, in addition to be slooow as molasse. Sorry to say we will never go back again

I got food poisoning and strep from sprouts food

I purchased precooked turkey at sprouts in mesa Arizona and went home and ate it. I got food poisoning from their turkey which led to strep throat and was sick for 6 days. I filed a claim with sprouts for lost wages and weeks later sprouts claims they are not responsible for the food they sell. I will never shop at sprouts again. Shop there at your own peril.

Dirty Store and Dirty Attitude

If I could give this store (Warner & Goldenwest, HB CA) a negative star, I would! Connie (Store Manager) is bitter and unprofessional, this person definitely needs to be fired! I first noticed this woman speaking poorly of upper management to one of the staff members who was stocking the produce. I overheard Connie say “I don’t get paid enough to deal with politics here”. Her bad vibes filled the air making it unpleasant to even want to shop. After that, Connie took it upon herself to yell at me across two lanes when I was ready to checkout. I had my licensed service dog with me in her bag in the cart, I was unaware that this particular store did not allow this as other locations don’t mind. Connie screamed at me “the dog has to come out of the cart!”, “and we only allow service dogs!”. I removed my dog and said to her “she is a service dog!”. Connie said “for what and rolled her eyes”. I asked her if she was judging me that I have three disabilities and she told me no as she rolled her eyes again. I told her to get a life and I now have an understanding of their policies, she just stood there wanting an argument. I can’t even believe that this person has a job. It makes sense to me why this store is dirty, it’s a complete reflection of this woman’s nasty attitude. I had two customers approach me outside who witnessed the incident and both individuals encouraged me to report her and were nice enough to give me their contact info. If I needed witness statements. I will see what Sprouts corporate office says before I decide if I am going to file an incident with ADA. Unbelievable!

We will never return to Sprouts

In my opinion, the Peachtree City location is poorly managed. Over the past 6 months we've experienced low quality produce, a cavalier approach to customer service and lack of accountability from "managers". We will drive to Fresh Market, Publix or Kroger instead.

I have a confession

I have a confession: I usually do not write reviews online, but HANNAH, a Sprouts’ employee (store #151) made it impossible for me to sit aside and not telling EVERYONE how wonderful she is. Hannah is a dedicated employee who is ALWAYS welcoming and attentive to the customer's needs.
I shop A LOT at this store, so I have to admit that the manager Bruce is a very kind & charming and so are most of the employees in this store, but Hannah is definitely a GEM 💎

I purchased fresh scallops at the fresh fish section. DO NOT BUY SCALLOPS AT SPROUTS! When I placed in hot butter to sear, the pan filled with juice. I placed no juice in pan. So much for seared scallops, more like scallop stew. Conclusion water was pumped into the scallops to make them look fuller and larger. Charge more money for less product. I will no longer buy meat or fish at Sprouts. FALSE ADVERTISING!!

Sprouts in Surprise

Sprouts in Surprise on W. Bell. Just left store 25 min ago. Wanted to buy 1lb of mixed nuts w/peanuts. On special for $5.99/ lb.
Checkout clerk rang them up at $7.99/ lb. He would not take my word for the fact that these were on special. Claimed I had mixed nuts without peanuts. Peanuts were clearly visible in the clear plastic bag. I refused to
purchase them ,and left the store. I am new to this area, and this was my first visit to Sprouts. It is also my last. I understand maybe he was having a
bad day. But he was not at all helpful. I am very disappointed.

COUNTY MASK MANDATE NOT ENFORCED

WARNING - MASKS REQUIRED and yet NOT REQUIRED. Even the cashier on 120th in Westminster, older lady initial L, had her surgical mask hanging off her face, nose totally exposed. I had asked for the person in line in front of me, who was finished checking out, to please move on since she wasn't wearing a mask and was endangering us all. It is just a simple mask you wear briefly. That's it. Why people cannot be considerate to others is beyond me. But she replied she would take care of herself and i emphasized again, you are a risk to us. Cashier didn't enforce it, no sign on door, yet the county requires it. Saw 2 other customers maskless. I shop twice a week there but NO more. No Sprouts anywhere is worth this.

No milk. Not helpful.

About had it with the Sprouts on 7th Ave & Osborn in Phoenix. Half the time I shop here there’s no whole milk, so I have to go to Safeway anyway. This time I asked a cashier, “S,” whether there might be some in back. “You have to go talk to [Gordon]; he’s the only one who knows anything about that.” Well, S, I have no idea who Gordon is, or where I can find him, & you’re halfway through ringing up my purchases. So I get it—you just don’t care. Unfortunately, typical of the customer service I’ve gotten here in the past.

They don’t pack your groceries correctly. They placed heavy items on top of the egg container and damaged the eggs. I realize it’s not a lot of money but it means you have to take the additional time to return the carton of eggs for a replacement.

Poor Customer Service

I go to Sprouts on Bulverde in San Antonio every week and am about sick of the customer service. Every week at the deli and seafood deli I stand their for 10-15 minutes being ignored by the 4-5 employees behind the counter. Sometimes I think they wish you will go away rather then bother them. Poor customer service. Yesterday after waiting to check out with all of my groceries on the belt, the customer in front of me had problems with their payment card A supervisor was called who could not figure out the problems and told them to come to another payment terminal. Away they went and left me their to have to reload my purchases in the cart and go to another register. Sad

I used to love it but now I have to fight every time for pricing because the stickers price doesn't match the register. Really bad customer experience as I have to show the cashier the item and the price under it, too annoying for everybody, I am not going there again. Krogers it is!

Rude Managers and Cashiers - Laguna Niguel

The managers and the cashiers at Laguna Niguel are almost always rude. Once in a while, I get someone positive. They don't understand their digital coupon and this has lead to issues checking out the past few times. I am getting to understand it better and the codes on my receipt but anytime I ask questions, the manager is really put out. His body language says, "I don't have time for this, why are you bothering me" The rude and condescending manner comes from the top and its a culture of us against the customer. Maybe it sucks to work that? But is that really a good excuse? There is a lot of competition in the area (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Ralphs and a few others) and if you feel that closing the store wont effect you because you can get another job, why not just get another job and make room for someone who wants to work there? Of all the grocery stores in Laguna Niguel, I rate this one #1 for rude and stress full interactions. My wife handles the shopping most of the time and has been complaining to me about Sprouts employee attitudes. Today we decided to stop going Sprouts. The deals and the food are not amazing. Saving $10 on my bill there vs. going elsewhere is not worth being irritated for an hour after leaving.

Rude staff at the register in Naples 2 times I was treated poor out of 7 and I am done shopping in a negative environment. Both times I was minding my own business waiting to pay when I was talked down to by the check out person. I have no reason to return.
