Purchased this and discovered within 15 minutes that I had been a victim. Do not purchase. They charged extra money on my Visa . I did not purchase any other product. They did not cancel my order within 15 min of purchase. They had not shipped at this point.

Ripped off badly! I was so upset as soon as the emails arrived from these liars. I was charged three times and instead of costing me $100AU it was almost $400AU. I immediately contacted my PayPal and stopped all future payments to these cheats. I felt sick as soon as I could not cancel the orders. I just got an email days later, today, saying it’s shipped. But what am I going to get, and have they taken my money for deceiving me. They said , Add a card. They said get express shipping. I am beyond disgusted because I could not cancel my order immediately anywhere on their crappy site. Warning: Do Not Buy From These Scammers!!!

I placed an order for 3 SpyFocus cameras. Within 5 minutes of placing the order, received a text message of how an SD card would be needed for each camera. Of course at an extra fee. I immediately emailed them, now 17 minutes later and asked they delete the order and why. The first email said the order was typically filled within an hour - great, as it was only 30 minutes at this point. Then more emails that said it is packed and shipped! What? So now I need to deal with the return and disputed charge because they think I'll keep the product so I won't be bothered to return. No way this order couldn't be cancelled. Terrible Customer Care.

It is a SPAM. Do NOT buy their mini camera. It is another fraud from China via Lithuanian people.

An absolute scam The camera would not connect to any allegedly compatible device. All instructions were followed correctly. If I had known the company's correct name I would have found these appalling reviews and given these scam artists a complete swerve. They have been reported to Paypal. I have demanded (as per our statutory rights in the UK) a full refund and requested the return address, which once obtained I will add to Trustpilot. The reviews on TechTrends are obviously fabricated. Also, they added an an amount to Paypal for an extended warranty, which was not requested.

Scam, sadly didn’t read reviews. Do not buy. Made in China comes from somewhere else. Looking at reviews absolutely no comeback.

Basically my complaint is the same as everyone else’s. Bought these cameras based on a website saying they were the best. Then I read the reviews, tried to cancel within half hour of buying these and was unable to. When the cameras turned up they were cheap looking, never connected to wifi no matter how many times you changed your password to try and connect. Initially they offered me a 25% refund and keep the products which then became 50% when I said no, that became 75% and only became a full refund when I got paypal involved. It also took quite a few emails to get a return address which I did return as they do not work. Do not buy these products.

Be very careful with this dangerous site. I made a purchase before reading customer reviews - after I read the reviews I quickly proceeded to cancel the card payment - lucky for me the transaction hadn’t been processed due to insufficient funds but Spyfocus had managed to place a standing order for more than €140 on my account for a single one time purchase/payment and the transaction was on hold until the account was in funds!!! I cancelled the card and damage was avoided.

Immediately I ordered this camera I checked my bank statement.
I was charged nearly £11-00 too much. I queried this immediately as I did not agree to pay for postage or an extended warranty and I couldn't cancel the order as it had already been shipped. WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF PLACING THE ORDER!!!!!?????
After discussions with my bank they advised to cancel the credit card as they suspended a SCAM.
11+ emails later I agreed to a 75% refund, which I surprised to get, and retention of the camera.
I have tried to set the camera up but to find it will not work with a wi-fi frequency of 5GH, even if the wi-fi emits on both 2.4GH and 5GH.
None of the above is stated on their advertising, which is probably against ASA standards.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY AND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible company, if indeed it is a company. I ordered a small camera which I tried to cancel an hour after I paid for it and was told that was too late. 3 weeks later it arrives and I paid just under £46 for a plastic camera, with no attachments. I've been contacting the company now for 24 hours to find out how to return it with absolutely no success. They keep sending me emails asking me to do a survey and then absolutely nothing. I have reported them to my bank in the hope that my bank could get a refund for me. **** do not use this company***"

Terrible a complete rip off for gods sake don’t use this lot

Beware. Do not purchase they do not work when away from home.
They don’t work when at home with your normal Wi-Fi they only work if connected to the cameras Wi-Fi which in itself is alarming as there is a warning that it’s not secure!!

I bought 3 of these cameras and could not get them to work. the app when setting up online account asked for my card details for identification. I did not proceed as this was nonsense. I could not get the units to work on wifi or any other way following the instructions. could not get a return address or make contact. After numerous emails gave up accepting I
have been scammed by a crook outfit.

I believe the five star reviews are as fake as the product. I wish I had I seen these trust pilot reviews before. Lesson learn check out reviews and info on the seller before buying anything.

I attempted to cancel my order within two minutes of placing it. I got an email saying it was already packed at their warehouse. This was on a national holiday. Their warehouse was working and was so efficient it packed an order within two minutes of placing it? If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. They do not provide return information despite saying they have a 30 day return guarantee. Phone calls to their customer support number get put on hold for extensive periods of time and then hang up on you. Their email for contacting them is in Montenegro!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

An awful company judging by other reviews - after an attempted break in locally - I rashly did a google search by review for outdoor security cameras - foolishly I took what I thought was a 9.8 review on Trust Pilot as read on their advertisment and ordered 3 cameras at a cost of £110.92.
On further invesigation (doh) found the genuine reviews on Trust Pilot at an abysmal score of 1.
Emailed almost immediately, but was too late?
Now going through PayPal Resolution Centre - will return unopened at my cost and will expect a full refund.
This company turns over around 74 million according to research - million dollar question if I receive a refund?!

When I noticed that the company had double charged me on some of the items I chose I cancelled the order right away. They stated that it had already been shipped which was a total lie since the only email I received was one that the shipment would be delayed because of my location. I have never received an email stating it has been shipped with a tracking number, which is the option I chose. The company is refusing to cancel the order and just stating I can accept the order and return it. This is not acceptable since they did not even address the double charging of the items. Thanks to this review group I will have enough evidence for the credit company to get my charges reversed.

Returning a camera has been difficult, frustrating, annoying. The company uses a process designed to make you give up. Initially through a series of robot emails I was offered the chance to keep the cameras and be refunded 25 % , then 50% and finally 75%. Persisting I was generously offered a full refund... 19 days after returning cameras by recorded/ signed mail I again had to go through a futher arduous robot generated email trail to finally recieve a full refund as is a legal requirement. My case had been closed...so I had to reopen! The only reason I was successful was through extreme persistance. Returning goods should be simple and uncomplicated. Spyfocus should be ashamed and embarrassed by the way they operate.

Purchased three Spycam cameras plus flash cards after strong magazine recommendation (which I now realise is fake).
Abysmal product not fit for purpose. 'Manual' is a piece of paper, once you can download the app it doesn't work or at least until it has taken your debit / credit card details (which I did not provide). Apple Pay would not work as it didn't trust it. Company claims to be US, everything is Chinese including the poorly translated manual and app and yet they are based in Lithuania. The cameras at 75% discounted rate at £40 are under £10 on Ebay. In fairness they did respond to email and as others found offered me to return with 25% discount. This quickly escalated to keeping the 3 cameras and flash cards (shows the value) and a 75% discount. Strange business model! I figure if I can sell on the flash cards I break even. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Poor quality - feel stupid I bought the cameras: made a big ish order … service team efficient at settling claims / making refund offers.
I settled on 75% refund v hassle of packing
(In original flimsy packaging) and sending back to China… pretty clear not straightforward and at my (Customer) cost!
At least I got the refund promptly I guess.
The services staff were very efficient.
But lost almost £100…

It was a rip off. Managed through sheer persistence to get the greater part of my payment returned.
The equipment never worked despite all the instructions I received.
