I place an order. I got an email the day of my order telling me I would be notified when my order would be shipped. After 11 days, I got an email that my order was canceled and I would get a refund. I sent two emails to the company regarding the cancelation and when I would receive an email. I have not yet receive a response from the company.

I only ordered some squares as a novelty because it reminded me of the food from Starfield. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Squareat at all.

My order included most of the squares, including sea bass, vegan burger, beef, broccoli and spinach, sweet potato, chicken, basmati rice, salmon, zucchini, choco pancake, peanut, hazelnut, and pistachio. Vegan burger tasted okay but the rest were all awful. They tasted vaguely like the food they claimed to be, minus any of the texture, flavor or seasoning, and came with strange unenjoyable aftertastes.

The squares are individually packaged in a rather wasteful way and it was annoying to attempt to open them. You have to peel off only the very top layer of plastic or cut them out with a knife. Unfortunately the plastic layer does not have any place to start the peel so you often end up peeling up the bottom plastic layer or cardboard instead.

The boxes containing the squares were made of super flimsy cardboard and the worst designed boxes I've ever seen. If I remember correctly, they're taped on 3 of the 4 long edges with one tiny piece of round tape, meaning that many of the squares simply fell out in the shipping container as the boxes became soggy and the tape detached.

To top it off, the startup claims to ask the customer to return the insulating bag to reuse for environmental friendliness, but I was never asked to do so.

Basically an entirely joyless, tasteless experience with nothing positive to report. I only give 2 stars instead of 1 as the shipping speed was good.

This was truly hot garbage in a tiny square. Was bought as a Christmas gift and showed up very late. Yes, they sent me a email on the day it was suppose to arrive saying it was going to be late but really? The person who got it said she found the food gross, slimy and inedible. What I love is this review will not go anywhere. Please close your business you’re taking valuable space up in south Florida that could go to a vape store or crypto exchange center.

Very poor customer service. First order was lost in shipping. Said they would resend it. A few weeks later I had to contact them for a refund. Also automatically enrolled in an automatic subscription thing that I had contacted them to cancel, but didn’t until after the amount was withdrawn already…a week after contacting.

I wasn’t even able to eat the products purchased. They were warmer than room temperature upon arrival and unsafe to consume. I work from home and was able to quickly retrieve my package upon delivery. Despite attempting to reach out to square eat via instagram, email, and phone to allow them to correct this issue, I received no response. This lead me to file a charge back with my bank. Unfortunately they won the chargeback case and I’m out of $50. I wouldn’t recommend this company or their products to my worst enemy.

The meat was extremely soggy, and the cardboard was wet.

The food was rather bland and was not worth the money.

I never got to try Squareat because the first time I ever ordered, the delivery person did not ring the doorbell or text me, so the package went missing. (I never have problems with stolen packages.) I tried contacting customer service, but because they package was considered "delivered," they not only would not give me a refund or replacement, but wouldn't even give me a discount to try again! I spent $150 for nothing.

I absolutely LOVE this food! Delicious, healthy, manageable, and efficient. LOVE!

This food tastes vile. The bag they sent with it is cute though.

I already wrote a bad review but Square Eat will not stop emailing me about leaving another one so I reiterate: The food showed up warm and cold packs had leaked goo all over the order. Cleaning all that took upwards of an hour. The first time I contacted the company about it, they apologized, credited me $30 (or 30%, I can't remember which), and assured me that it wouldn't happen again because they had invested in new cold packs that wouldn't leak. So I ordered from them again and the same thing happened. I contacted them about it and they told me they would investigate and keep me updated on the situation. Then I never heard from them again.

The food is cute, those sauces are yummy, and the food has a surprising great taste Even the spinach. I used a combination of steamer for same and a tiny saice pan for meats.

The taste is awful. I tried several different meals. I don't know why but the flavors range from tasteless paste to very bad. That's a problem that has to be solved. There's no other problem this solves, it's a novelty, but to succeed it needs to taste dramatically better.

Incredibile concept, taste great and save loads of time. I’m impressed highly recommended

A nice quick eat at the beach. Weird but good with enough protein.

This is the weirdest food establishment I’ve ever been to. And it takes a while to wrap your brain around the concept. But… try it. It is surprisingly tasty. The squares each have unique textures and yummy flavors. And the smoothies (despite being so expensive) are truly delicious. I definitely recommend you give SquareEat a try. I just randomly stumbled upon this place while walking on Washington Ave in South Beach and got distracted from my pizza run and ended up giving this a try. I will definitely be back. It’s definitely weird. Really weird. Really really really weird. But… tastes good, is good for you, and will leave you with a smile. Enjoy!

This is the most practical meal plan I’ve ever had, and the best part is the space optimization!
