Purchased Coil-over kit for Octavia 1u5…
Purchased Coil-over kit for Octavia 1u5 in July 2024. via Ebay. Fitted by suspension specialist in Nottingham.
Both front shock failed/knocking/leaking less than 3000 miles/6 months of use. Rear sits 2 inches different one side to other and bottoms out.
Wanted to return using '2 year warranty' for a refund as i do not want to put any more of this garbage on my car. They said the shocks only failed 99% due to being fitted incorrectly with mole grips. The return was to be at my expense and the inspection for claims was to be done by them.
Now left with daily driver vehicle in dangerous state until new suspension fitted.

Cheap rubbish
Cheap rubbish! bought coilovers for my vw t6, under 2 years old and the forks are both leaking on the front with a horrible knocking coming from them. Bought from eBay, contacted to get sorted under warranty but was brushed off telling me they had probably been installed by the mechanic using grips. I’ve had them taken out by another mechanic who has verified there are no grip marks on the forks. Messages were just ignored on eBay and they made no attempt to rectify their faulty forks!

Ordered universal drop links but never arrived. not managed to get to any sort of conclusion.
This was resolved not long after this was posted.
I ordered through their Ebay site, so I had to message to their actual site for it to be resolved.
Now I would definitely recommend as they were exactly what I needed.
Have ordered their coilovers in the past as well, they were spot on and a bargain for their price. Used them for a cheap drift car, and they worked well.

Stance Ultra Coilovers Suspension Kit BMW E46 Saloon & Coupe (98-05) Petrol from eBay
Been fitted for a year and the rear struts have leaked all over my rear suspension causing the rubbers to deteriorate and causing it to fail an MOT.
I was forced into replacing them with stock shocks because I needed my car for work.
Stanced-UK admit the parts are faulty but refuse to refund me for them. They are meant to be under a 2 year warranty.
Stanced-UK will only replace the parts leaving me well out of pocket.

The parts in question are not 18 months old they are 1 year and 2 month. They were purchased on the 4th Aug 2021 and fitted 2 weeks later by a fully qualified BMW mechanic. They never lasted a year because the car failed its MOT in 2022 because of the suspension leaking.
I do not want a replacement because I have been forced to replace them already. I have been in touch with trading standards who are looking into the case along with a solicitor who is going to put a claim through the small claims court.
I require a refund not a replacement.
Your parts leaked and cost me more damage and I have no faith in a product that lasted less than a year and cost me £300
So please can I have a refund so I am not out of pocket. I bought the shocks off you not off stanced so it is you that is responsible not them.

I went through your email support and contacted the seller who again said I was not liable for a refund even though your product was, meant to be, guaranteed for 2 years. I had 2 weeks to replace the suspension to put my car through its MOT it was the MOT that spotted the dodgy suspension.
I will say though that the replacement suspension has not failed and is still as good as the day it was installed. Yours lasted about a year this new set has been on for almost 5 years now so unless your prepared to honour the refund please accept the fact I will never install STANCED again and I will never recommend them to anyone......ever.

Customer service was excellent in sorting out a replacement spring for my coilover kit. Quick responses and shipped out the same day.

Ordered a set of spacers for my Audi A4 b6, rears didn’t sit flush to the hub, contacted them and they expected me to pay for postage back for an item they shouldn’t be selling???? being unfit for the purpose they advertised.
I was also told through email that no where on their site does it state they fit my car, but in order to get to the product i purchased, I had to choose my car from their list of vehicles….. nice try.
I had already taken screenshots of the item on their site and had done a video of me selecting my vehicle from their drop down list and being brought to the item I had purchased. Luckily with all my evidence and the fact that I had paid through Clearpay, I got a full refund from Clearpay.
Spacers are now sat in my shed. The return policy is an absolute joke and makes it virtually impossible to return items.
Oh and it was definitely you who I purchased it off, I also have all the emails, photos and videos before you pull the ‘we don’t have any record of sale or any emails off you’ excuse.
Edited: that’s incorrect, no one offered to pay for return shipping, I have all the emails and in non of them does it say anywhere you covering cost of return. In actually fact I got list of ‘terms and conditions’ to meet in order to return the items.
Your return policy states if item has been fitted to a vehicle it can not be returned, so me simply trying to fit the spacer to the hub to find it didn’t fit actually made my return impossible under you conditions of return. Like I said previously, you make it impossible to return items.
I’m not engaging in any more communication with you, as far as I’m concerned, you should of rectified it when I contacted you.

Edit: 06-04-2026…. You guys just simply won’t let it go eh? So if your return policy says in new condition to be returned, after fitting the fronts and then coming to the rears to find they don’t fit, they can no longer be returned because when fitting, the paint gets scratched as it’s metal on metal, and you’re mating a wheel to the face of them. therefore making it impossible to return. Useless company that sold a product not fit for purpose HENCE the Clearpay refund. They’re currently sat in the shed rotting like the crap they are.

I ordered a set of stance + Ultra coilovers and had them fitted a year ago. They provide a good ride and plenty of adjustment for lowering the vehicle. I have them lowered all the way which I think may have caused some increased wear but I emailed stance and got a very fast reply with a new set of shocks sent out within a day of emailing

Stance UK was great when I 1st bought my wheels back in 2016. I have just recently got in contact regarding a situation and they was very quick to respond and help me out. Couldn't fault the service and helpfulness.

Good customer service. Bought some parts and had accidentally bought two sets of bolts that were different sizes. Whoever processed the order noticed this and contacted me to rectify the issue. Parts still arrived within 2 and a half days of ordering and were well packaged.

Received my new suspension within 48 hours of ordering ready to fit on my next day off a few weeks later but when it come to fitting I had realised I had ordered the wrong set..
After emailing customer service and explaining what I had done I was told I was pass the reruns date but honoured the return and within them receiving my return I had an email that same day that my correct suspension was out for delivery and I received them on the Saturday.
100% recommend stanced uk to anyone looking for a good quality product with amazing customer service and after care.

Looks can be deceiving
Product came was a set of coilovers for my e82. They looked sweet was excited to get them fitted they looked the part and once on and height adjusted it was perfect changed the ride etc... The dissapointment came just around a year on and all the shocks are leaking and yeah still in my warranty period my option was to take them off and send them to be assessed by the company which means in the mean time I would need to buy another set. Considering replacing the shocks with the same company but don't trust the product quality or company. Im stuck as I haven't got a spare set of shocks to just throw on and await to even see IG I would get a refund as there seems to be a common thread of company blaming customers and installation.
Might be best to spend more else where to avoid unwanted stress the options I was given was as below
You can send the unit back to the below address Stance+ can inspect it. If there are no marks on the piston (this is the main cause of leaking units from the piston being claimed during installation) and the unit is found to be faulty Stance+ can send you a replacement unit under warranty free of charge.
2) Alternatively, if you cannot send the unit back due to it being on the car or any other reason you will need to purchase a new single unit(s) at the exchange rate of £90.00 per front and £48.00 per rear (stock depending). Then once you return the suspected faulty unit back after you have fitted the new one, If found to be faulty we can refund the exchange fee in full for you.
