I have been trying to move my money to…
LI have been trying to move my money to another bank with a better interest rate but they put a hold on my payment .
I rang and they told me it would be cleared within that day...it wasn't!
I then cancelled it to get it back in my account and try resending it in smaller amounts. Says on their website it will be back in my account in 24 hours. ..yet again it wasn't!
I am having to chase them to get my money back into my account so I can transfer it.
This is disgusting behaviour , they have had ,£63000 of my money in limbo somewhere for the whole weekend!!!
Going to take my story to Martin Lewis money program. Don't put your money in Starling if you want to ever get it back!
Update
I have finally managed to get my money transfered and deleted the app as would no way ever use them again!
They took all weekend to sort a simple transfer costing me 2 days of interest and a lot of frustration on something that should only take a couple of minutes!
When they say something will be done in a certain time frame , stick to it!

Enjoying Starling Banking App
I took out a Starling account after seeing on the Martin Lewis website that you don't pay transaction charges abroad. However, since my trip now I'm back in the UK I've discovered the 'Spaces' functionality and have been enjoying using this to manage money for different types of spending. I've also recently set up a savings space as well and the process for getting set up is really quick and easy.
