The worst imaginable start..
No option to leave a full address when ordering so contacted support several times explaining it could not be delivered without it and heard nothing. They then dispatched it and the circus began.. several weeks wasted whilst they recalled delivery and sent another.
Connection constantly dropping out and tried all the troubleshooting steps I could find. Again, reached out to support (*shudder*) and again, absolutely no help. Support/service is literally as poor/low standard as it gets. MacBook suddenly stopped connecting altogether. Having done some more digging in forums I saw a recommendation to split the network into 5GHz and 2.4GHz which seems to have helped massively - for whatever reason, the MacBook will only connect to 2.4GHz but with download speeds of approx. 100mbps that is no problem at all for my purpose. I definitely recommend trying to split the network (you can do this via the App settings) if you're having connection problems (if only support could have suggested this from the start!)
The other issue with it is coverage - although splitting the network has naturally definitely helped with this (2.4GHz for harder to reach areas) - will need to look into buying some extenders when I get a moment.
Speeds on other devices really volatile, averaging approx. 150mbps on the 5GHz network on my phone though when closer to the router which is absolutely fine.
Generally not feeling particularly convinced re its stability so am also purchasing a mobile data sim and router for backup.
It's a big satellite dish (standard kit) and still need to figure out where/how to mount it.
The App is cool, user friendly with helpful tools and features.
Did I mention, support sucks.

Service restricted after 5 days despite full monthly payment
Content of the review:
I paid for a full month of Starlink service (€80), but after only 5 days of use, my service was restricted due to a policy about extended roaming outside of the country.
Even though the full payment was collected, Starlink refuses to either reactivate my service for the remainder of the month or issue a refund for the unused period.
I am disappointed by this lack of consideration for paying customers.
I remain open to an amicable solution if Starlink wishes to resolve the situation.

Purchased a Starlink and never received a confirmation email, tracking or the Starlink. Asked customer service about this and been waiting on a reply for weeks.
Essentially been robbed.
Ive had 2 failed routers and cables
Ive had 2 failed routers and cables. As soon as it goes down and I send a support ticket they just send a auto reply saying they'll send me a new unit. I'm now waiting on my 3rd unit.
No customer support or customer service . It's ok when it works but it's over priced and unreliable. Wouldn't recommend it if you can find another option.
No customer service
No customer service. It should be illegal to to offer this kind of service and not have an 800# with real techs who offer tech support. They offer 24/7 support to Latin america..but not america. How do I run my business with no customer service? This country is done. This was my last hope but he is like everyone else. Selling over priced shit that doesn't work and then not offering any customer support. Not only that FTC need to investigate bc the website says $165 for Roam. The app says upgrade for $400. I used to like Elon. Now he just like everyone else. The lack of respect for us all...by not offering customer service on an internet product shows me this guys not that smart bc he lacks common sense and respect for his customers. I bought $100 of top up data and it still says I am out of data and to buy more. The app is wrong or lying or i don't understand how to use it.
Bait and Switch $165 vs $400
The top up data doesn't work. It's got me at 1 MBPS
They have no customer service and it should be illegal.
My business is dying using this product.
I recommend finding a real internet company that has tech support and clear plans and easy upgrades etc.
Very disappointed this guy runs his business like this. Definitely a tech guy. No customer service skills
I have had starlink for less than 2…
I have had starlink for less than 2 weeks and in those 2 weeks it’s been down about 90% of the time. First because the satellite didn’t work then it was a configuration on there end that they have yet to do. I got my internet fixed yesterday after waiting 3 days for a call back and it wasn’t even working for a full 24 hrs when it locked again and the customer service phone is down so the only way to communicate with starlink reps is via message which takes days to respond. Don’t waste your money it is expensive, not reliable and you need to install the satellite yourself and buy everything separate.
Disappointing Experience with Starlink…
Disappointing Experience with Starlink Internet
I've been using Starlink for a few months now, and unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to my expectations. Here are some of the issues I've encountered:
Intermittent Connectivity: The internet connection drops frequently, often without warning. This makes it difficult to rely on Starlink for critical tasks like work or online learning.
Slow Speeds: Even during optimal conditions, the speeds are nowhere near what I was promised. I've experienced frequent buffering and lag, making it frustrating to stream or download large files.
Limited Coverage: The signal strength is weak in my area, resulting in frequent disconnections and dropped calls. This is a major issue, especially during emergencies or when I need to stay connected.
Poor Customer Support: When I tried to contact Starlink's customer support, I was met with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. They seemed more interested in upselling me on additional services than addressing my concerns.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Starlink. The technology has potential, but it needs significant improvement before I would recommend it to others.
Rating: 1/5
If you're considering Starlink, I would caution you to expect frequent outages, slow speeds, and poor customer support. Until they address these issues, I would recommend exploring alternative options.
Customer Service Good, Product Not So Much
While their customer service was good in explaining, not so sure the return is worth the investment unless you are looking for something totally outdoors. I purchased the mini-unit to help with work areas where internet is bad. Unfortunately, this unit only works outside.
Out of region fee of 200 dollar
Out of region fee of 200 dollar: I have shared the message underneath with Starlink: I bought a Starlink standard kit through an authorized dealer in the Netherlands for use in my house in Mozambique. I have first tried to order one in Mozambique, but the payment process got stuck several times. I tried again later, to find out that there is a waiting list for Mozambique. Since I was in the Netherlands at that time, I bought the kit there and took it to Mozambique. I paid on top of the purchase price import duties. After installing and subscribing the internet works fine. But then I received an ‘outside region fee’ notification and the message 200 dollar is going to be deducted from my account.
Three questions: 1. Can you explain why this fee is charged? 2. Can you indicate where this fee was announced on your website, since I would have appreciated to know this in advance. 3. Given the situation as described above (payment problems, waiting list, missing information) I kindly request you to exempt me from this fee.
I received an immediate AI reply that was not satisfactory at all. I hope that I can still receive an personal, to the point reply.
Starlink - not as advertised
Starlink started as fast and affordable internet. The claim was - get people I your area to join and your prices will go down. We praised the speed and competitive pricing and multiple neighbors bought in. Then, months later we get the message that our price will increase by something like 50%. We paid an already absurd amount to get the system in the first place. If feels like a bait and switch scam. If you try to reach customer service... Support doesn't exist in human form. Spread the word - do not purchase Starlink!
Totally overated rubbish
Totally overated. The hype surrounding musks mess is why I took a service. I absolutely hate it, totally inreliable, but sadly my only option. As soon as something better comes along, I'll be jumping ship. The cost is ludicrous, over twice the price of fibre services, and less that 10% of the capacity.
If you are considering starlink, I suggest you rethink and look at other options
Not happy
Not happy. Made a mistake and they charged me 550 dollars for one month subscription and it could not be changed for the next month. So now Christmas is ruined. I used to be a Elon fan.
It's Musk, just fake.
Didn't had the chance to test the quality of the internet, since my collaboration with starling already failed during the order process.
Luckily afterwards, when I read the reviews here.
I tried 3creditcards from 3 different countries, all were rejected.
It said to contact my bank or choose another payment method, sorry, there's no other option.
And since all cards working, the bug is not on my side.
So I contacted the costumer service and even I send the last 4 digits or the cards, in 3 mails they asked again for. So no progress in solving the problem and I cut the communication.
Starlink is same like Tesla and Musks other projects all fake, just Potemkin Villages!
We have multiple StarLinks
We have multiple StarLinks, not really had an issue except for speed occasionally during bad weather. Not issues with VoIP as yet, either.
We would link to be able to switch between roaming and static more easily. We have Roam because we are not sure where we are going, but we would like Static once we get there. We usually stay for 6 weeks or so and would love to switch to static service to increase the speed.

0 customer service
Abysmal customer service or should I say non existent. They don't have a phone number, the only option is to submit a support ticket that takes many, many days to get a reply at this point I don't even know if I'll get one. They say you can pause your service after the first time i paused it they turned it back on, the second time i paused it they still billed me an extra month. Stay far, far, away from starlink.
Actual service is moderate for…
Actual service is moderate for speed/connection. I get dropped occasionally, but back on in a few minutes.
Customer support is abysmal. Not kidding when I say it is the worst I have ever experienced. I had to set up a second location for my employer down the road. And it somehow got linked to my account. Tried to separate it and they say it has to stay on my account for 90 days, or remain inactive for 120 days... Meaning my employer has no Internet/phone for 4 months or I pay for it from my own pocket for 3 months. No wiggle room for a flaw in there system.
Starlink pretends they are good but…
Starlink pretends they are good but from all my research on them they are at best average. While I haven't used their services they charge 40 euro a month for a 50GB data and they think that that's good. Lol while cosmote will give you unlimited Internet For a 25 euro a month 🤣 sorry but no thanks I won't be going with them, and reading the reviews here I guess a lot more won't either
Flexible Internet connection for a price.
Using this service for about 13 months now. Live in a rural area in the midwestern US. When we put in a location with little to no obstructions to the sky we will get excellent speeds for downloads. And the uploads are good enough for our use. Sustained we can get about 100mbps down and 5mbps upload. The speeds can burst to much faster than that on occasion for us. We do get regular outages that last 1-3 minutes, but this happens between 3 and 4 am our time so we are not affected. We go camping several times a year and have taken the dish with us and it works well too in state parks with no cellular service. Caveat being it needs line of sight to the sky. If we are camping with lots of trees around it won't work. Got a cable extension so we could set it up in the fields just outside the forest. Nothing to complain for this service, 5 stars. Only complaint so far is the price. In our market it is 150 per month, and just recently increased to 165. Since they are the only reliable high-speed internet we use them. We are happy customers.

We travel in our RV full time and needed something for when we didn’t have cell service or hot spots. Starlink has been helpful. Last week the wind blew our antenna down and broke it. We have tried numerous times to fill out a ticket request for customer service but they keep canceling them. We have not been successful in getting any help from Starlink customer service.
