Dressage has been in the game for years and it is still bugged, adding penalties at random and rendering the mini-game unplayable. This was an issue with it's release and years later it persists.

i love star stable but they are asking…

i love star stable but they are asking for to much money because if you want star coins you have to pay $6.00 for only 100 star coins so i think they should lower the prices. And the horses are priced to high, and there is no way to contact them and even if you do message them they never respond so im not hating on star stable i just think they should lower the prices.

Since November 2024 (6 months ago) I…

Since November 2024 (6 months ago) I have been emailing and begging Star Stable to close my account and stop taking my money BUT every 2 months they take another payment - the game stopped working on my tablet because it is old! so I have no choice but to remove it and ask to remove the account. They simply do not answer, they produce an auto-generated report with a reference number but no one will respond. I have contacted my bank to stop the Direct Debit but because it is a 'subscription' it cannot be done. I am negotiating with them to help stop the DD. The company is a disgrace and any comments about the number of bad reviews are fair, people are not making these things up!! THis company is a disaster.

Customer support is ignoring me

Customer support is ignoring me.
I paid €54,95 for StarCoins on the wrong account, immediately sent them a mail asking for my money back (their site says they do refunds) and never heard anything back. I have been waiting since march 29th. I’m now taking legal action against them through the European Consumer Centre, ACM, iDeal, and the EU Online Dispute Resolution. They are holding back your money, when you have been a loyal paying customer for 11 years

Tricky…

My daughter, 8, is a star rider but even when I’m playing with her, a lot of the tasks aren’t very well explained or executed. We also have a bunch of strangers with their horses in her barn which we can’t work out how to get rid of them. Frustrating for her

free game; have fun paying to play.

I've played on and off for 10 years. This is one of the better games for horses, if you ignore the fact that they completely ditched the old storyline and are also a complete scam. As a star rider, you get 100 star coins once a week. A hat also conveniently costs 100 star coins. However, for $31.99, you can buy a single horse with barely any star coins left over to buy tack! What a deal! They take out old, but loved horses from the game, drop their prices to a whopping 300sc, and then simultaneously add in new, or limited time horses for ~900sc.

Fix dressage test! It's been a year!

Maybe instead of using the dressage at the equestrian festival, that has been broken for over a year, that people have been complaining about for over a year, you should have used that entire year to fix the glitch. I can't be doing anything wrong with just trotting up to bow. 😡

no way to contact them anymore

as long as there is no problem and you know how much you want to spend, everything is fine.
however at this point, if you have a problem, it's to bad!
they can't answer there emails (atleast not within 50 workdays, they also don't let you know anything in between to show you they did not forget about you) there FB is shutdown, so you can't contact them there and on IG the only answer easy questions but they can't answer the question how far behind they are on answering emails. there costumerservice was always bad but they did answer within 2-3 weeks, now they can't answer in 2-3 months.

so it is fun to play aslong as there is no problem. i used to spend 100-150 every year but now they have fallen so far down and don't seem to care about there players.
good thing for me is that the other horse game i play i much cheaper and i can do ALOT of stuff in game when spending 100,- a year.

I love this game

I love this game, I have been playing it for 4 years but there have been a few problems that stop me from making this review 5 stars. Firstly, when I first started playing it kicked me out of my account, then refused to let me in, claiming it was an update. Secondly, when I tried to get on to the winter update/winter village, nothing happened. I emailed them but they just told me that it was a glitch and it would sort itself out. It didn't. Lastly, it's over expensive and forces you in buying star coins and memberships. When I started I really wanted to explore Valedale but could not because I didn't have a membership. Also, I saw some lovely horses I really wanted but could not afford to buy them. I got lifetime star rider and haven't regretted it. This game is amazing otherwise and I really enjoy it.

This game is VERY money hungry

This game is VERY money hungry. You can download the game for free sure, but once you reach level 5, you have to purchase a subscription in order to progress further. You can't continue to play the game even if you don't purchase it because it blocks you in one small area of the map until you do. There are 2 types of currency in the game, Star Coins (SC) and Jorvik Shillings (JS). You carn earn JS when doing quests/missions etc, but you can only purchase a limited amount of items such as clothing and feed, and a few others (not including horses). You can't however, earn SC unless you physically purchase them with real money or they come with your subscription. SC buy just about everything in the game including horses. So the only way to purchase items, decorate your stables, and most importantly HORSES... is by purchasing SC with real money. You only get rewarded 100 SC a week(with subscription) and if you don't want to wait, they cost $6(usd) for only 100 SC. Horses(850-1000 SC) are expensive along with everything else in the game. I know developers put a lot of work and time into making games like this, but this is different. It's almost like there's no point in playing the game because you can't grind for SC to buy anything. You have to purchase them out of your real pocket. The new gen 3 horses look very nice and their animations are progressively getting better, but this money laundering stuff has to stop or come to some sort of solution. At the very LEAST if you have purchased a subscription, you should be able to do quests etc to earn SC. That's my 2 cents, except they stole that too lmao.

Its acceptable ig

Honestly i used to adore this game when i was younger.
I came home from school excited to play it with my friends.
I personally never struggeled with changes so when i heard that there was gonna be a new team to work on this game I stayed open minded, now (2 years after it was sold to the new team) even I notice a big difference, not just in the graphics and story quests but also in the change of dynamic between team and players, the community is just off and i feel like the team does not give two shits about our wishes and preferences whatsoever.
All they want is money.
Of course yes, thats pretty fu3king obvious, this is their work, their way of making money. I did and sill play many games that cost a lot of money, the difference between them and dear old star stable is just that star stables does not give you as much as you give them.
All they do is make new horses, horses, horses and more horses. They slowly delelt more and more of tthe old star stable. And no that aint enough, you can notice that the "new" team literally has no idea what they are doing, updates are boring and take ages.
They are so overwhelmed with stuff that they have to use ai to literally ban accounts for a lifetime.
Plus they seriously are the worst writers ever, the story used to be mysterious and confusing, you wanted to know the secrets and plots, all for it to just turn into a weird akward phone game, itt literally looks like some cheap phone game at this point.
They took away its whole personality.
Its pretty nostalgic butt thats literally the only good point I can talk about.
Im pretty sure it wont be long until they will stop making money with this.
I wouldnt say its the worst game nor is it a waist of time, it has his ups and downs but I surely see way more downs than ups. Maybe thats just my opinion tho.

If I could give it 0 stars I would

If I could give it 0 stars I would . Do NOT purchase anything from this game at any point even for a membership or star coins . Star stable will ban you for no reason once they have your money and when you ask for an explanation they will block you . Even when you buy lifetime membership they will block your access to your account and all your in-app purchases you have made . AVOID

PLEASE READ

I have been playing Star stable for a while now and I love it! I have read some reviews and disagree with some of them, here’s why. Ok, so people usually talk about how there’s only female characters, and yes, that is true. The thing is, is that Star Stable made the game to be a sisterhood. Another popular review is how much the game costs. Well to be frank, yes, it may seem that they have over priced the game (at first I thought that). But once I thought about it, Star Stable deeply cares about everyone’s privacy and safety, so if they made the game for free, then some people will have the idea of doing things that will get them banned and then just getting another account (the cycle will go on). The last review that I will cover is the tutorial at the beginning of the game, some people think that it is really stupid but it is just trying to teach you the story’s within Star Stable and how to control your horse. I believe that Star Stable is just trying to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Thank you so much for reading this review and I hope it gets you to find out a little of what Star Stable is about!

Star stables SUCKS

Star stables is a basic and boring game, the story is boring and the fact that you CAN'T actually customize your name is annoying in addition to all the player models being female when there are male models for NPCS. I downloaded it to play with my friend and sat through a horrid tutorial. Please add an option to finish tutorial later and make the game better.
