No more for kids now

I loved star stable. A year ago, it was a nice game full of fun! But now, it changed a lot. Since pride month started, they posted a picture where they made a half of Jorvik gays or lesbians, or non-binary. That was too much. It is just getting more hype, than it needs to. I mean, this game is targeted on kids, and NO. Kids dont know what LGBT is, so they will think they can have no binary whenever they want, just because they saw it there?! They changed a lot of NPCs to LGBT, Alex for example used to be best friend with Maya. Now they are suddenly girlfriends. I cant believe what this game is turning into.....so please, if you are looking for some good horse game, you should go look elsewhere.

Just want to put warning out that the game will save payment method password so kids can make purchases with only putting their game password. Over $800 AUD taken in less than 24 hours and no help from the game. They advised charges stand. So parents need to monitor younger children with no money sense. Will be speaking again with ACCC for a game should not save payment details when clients are children.

star stable is the best game ever

when I first got into star stable it was a wonderful game but there were so many quests and the game is really fun and the costumer service is really nice and helped me with a bunch of quests though little kids may need to need help with reading although there are no other problems or anything else you might think it is boring at first but once you get deeper into the story the better the storyline and the game gets and when your free trial until you get to level 5 and then there is a membership you can purchase there is a monthly and a lifetime membership after you pay either of those you can have fun with the rest of the story the and remember the lifetime membership costs $75 and the monthly membership is $9 the monthly is really cheap right

Its even a good experience without money.

Its a very fun game. Sure, everything is very expencive that makes the fame not as much fun. But even as non starrider, you can do things. Tgey extra bring new ponys to fort pinta for non star riders and otger things. So you can even have a good experience without starrider. And even the starterhorse can be really fast.

Absolutely terrible. I cancelled my membership several weeks ago only for them to bill my card again and give me the most disgraceful customer service I’ve ever received. Do not put your card details into this website.

Be careful with your money

I played SSO since January 2020, but the things went a bad way for me. At first I loved SSO and had a lot to do every time I logged in. But after a few weeks I was Level 20 and had not any Quests to do and it was really boring for me in SSO. Because of Covid I couldn`t do all the activities I normaly do and I wasted a lot of money with buying and leveling horses in SSO.
I tried to do championships and speedracing until I realized, that there are gamers Level 21- 23 with better stats and I just have a chance, if they fail. There most hores are not really fast, only first the Appaloosa and than the Pintarabian are the best horses for racing. The Problem with the player-level is, that you can´t get more than level 20, because the higher level got XP from temporary events over all the years SSO exists.
If you begin to play think about that there will come a time you havent any quest only if there is a new in an update and you only have a beautyfull background for riding around or for roleplay.
The new horses look really nice and you will buy more starcoins for that. And you should also know that horse´s gaits and animations could be changed by SSO because of technics, critics, bugs or other things and it s ugly if you love a breed, have all colors and you want to cry if you look at them.
Until you realized all that you left a lot of money, espacially SSO in the first years was also commercial, but changed the last time into selling more and more horses and giving small content and give more and more races to level up quick.
I think, they should sell the game for real money and use ingame only a ingame-money, espacially because it ´s a game for childs.
And if you buy starcoins be aware, that are cheap packages and other that are not. Look how much real money you pay for 100 sc in each package.
I Think lifetime and one time a big package with 10 000 sc should be more than enough for one account for one or two years. It s my opinion only. I hope I can help other don´t beeing such a fool like me.

Awesome Game

Sure, Star stable is pricy, I have been playing for at least my whole life. It's awesome, I have a ton of friends, Non-star rider is awesome too! Eventually, I got a 3-month star rider, then for Christmas, I got a lifetime. It's really really fun. The new Arabians are very well detailed and very royal. Sure, It's hard to buy so many horses but just try doing chores save up, and stuff, trust me eventually you will realize it is awesome. Thank you Star Stable. <3

Thinks you should be aware of.

It is a nice game. I love it so real and updates are pretty cool. But there are swear words and sometimes other people are very rude to you. I love star stable but the players are very rude and their team just says ignore them but it doesn't stop them from seeing their chat. The horses are so awesome and look very real but the star coins cost a lot for 5,000 it is USD 64. If you don't mind spending money and don't care if people are rude then yes play star stable. I've been playing for a while everything keeps getting better ad better!

How did it come to this?

I played Star Stable for 7 years now and i'm just disappointed how it is now... I loved playing it but now it's just all about Money... the Updates are poor and all we player get to hear is "Bigger things are coming" but we're hearing this for 2 years now. I mean i'm not a person who just judges without thinking. I know that there are many things that can be difficult to deal with, because i work in the game devision as well but if you have those difficulties then share them openly. Many players will understand!

Disappointed player

This company has gone downhill in the past year or two. I joined about 4 years ago and enjoyed the atmosphere and quests! I made a ton of friends and overall I loved the prices and bought star coins a few times even. However as I started progressing and star stable started growing, I noticed I could no longer buy new horses with the money I had been saving up in star coins. Overall I feel betrayed by how they have been shoving new horses down our throats every single week. I’m super excited about the new Arabians but the Finnhorse literally just came out 2 weeks ago!! This game is great if you want to dump endless money into it and never feel appreciated.

They remove content and still expect you to pay full price!

The game is manipulative, boring AND IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER TRIPPLE A GAMES! it plucks on the heartstring of little girls and expects them to pay exuberant prices on pixelated horses that will be outdated within a few months. They throttle players, make it impossible to get enough in-game currency to buy anything, essentially forcing them to spend real money on the game.

The game is also stagnating. They have removed events, they don't update the game with good content (just the laziest updates you can imagine), and they still expect full-price for a game that is YEARS behind in technology.

Spend your money on something else, and don't let your kid get roped into this manipulative game!

Fix this SSOHQ

I have played SSO (star stable online) for about 7 years now I have grown up around horses IRL and when ever I could not play with my IRL horses I would play with my pixel ones! :D
now, with the last 6 years of playing I would have given them a 5/5 but this year I have come to find there are many more horses being put out in groups and the new areas have felt rushed witch is why I have given this a 4/5. I just hope they improve :D

Manipulative and Heartless!

A money pit run by greedy management, careless and heartless.this used to be an amazing game and now I warn people not to play. SSO management is manipulative and condescending, ignores player feedback unless it makes them look *stellar* and is obsessed with ripping off the unsuspecting parent with game breaking updates and lackluster content. New chat updates allow all users to engage in explicit conversation WITHOUT a monitor or admin. Having spent a small fortune before realizing my mistake, learn from this experience. Do NOT support this company.

Is 0 stars an option?

I would’ve given the old ownership 5 stars all the way. The new management sucks. We get crap horses that we pay way to much for. They don’t give refunds, which they should tell you before you buy something, ahem, they don’t. Such a money sucker. All they do is make excuses for why they have crap updates and crap everything! They don’t keep their promises, and frankly I regret the last 4 years of my life playing this game because I could’ve been doing something far better, than to have this end with a crap game, and unhappy players.

Star Stable is digging their own grave

Star Stable is a great game! It's interesting and as I'm in a club fun! But as I said the only reason the game is fun is because I am in a club and it is half impossible to enjoy the game otherwise. Star Stable continues to create new horses at most of the time a low quality with duplicated gaits and as they release them they ask for our feedback and it goes to waste. Like with one of our horses (the Friesians) they made them incredibly antsy and they had no flow in their gaits they looked frankly of a quality of a cheapy mobile game and then with our most recent finn horses they used the same gaits (canter, extended canter & gallop) for the most of them and their idle animations were almost all the exact same. As well as that Star Coins (the in game currency) cost way to much and as recently discovered from old employees they make MILLIONS every single year and still charge an unacceptable £40 for 5,000 star coins which could buy you about 4 horses unless it is on a double star coin weekend that happens every end of the month where you can get about 9 horses for £40 because you get 10,000 star coins for the price of 5,000. If you pay an ever growing amount for lifetime star rider (subscription that is currently £53) you get 100 star coins every Saturday. Although it is nice we get an allowance at all it would take you about a month to be able to buy a pony who's quality just isn't very nice in my opinion. Once you reach level 19+ which is when your main and story quests end there is nothing to do unless you like roleplaying and/or haven't done every roleplay you can think of. If you join a riding club however you can talk with friends and have fun training (making your horses move faster) but you can't use star stable to talk to them because the chat filter is terrible! My club uses Discord now because we can't use the chat. You can't talk normally but people can sware! Star Stable doesn't care and they don't do events anymore which ruins the fun and magic for updates. Star Stable seems to be giving up on their game by pushing out new games and books etc. so Star Stable fix this!

Went from my favourite game to frustration all the way.

I have been playing star stable on a regular basis for more than 8 years. It has been my favourite game all the way from age 12 to 21.
Unfortunatly my experience playing the game has gotten worse and worse throughout the last 3 years. The main quest has not been updated for months now, instead all we got are new horses and new regions to explore, seasonal updates and star coin/star rider offers every weekend. I paid so much money to play this game, and up to this point I went from checking in every day to checking in once a month.
Players of older age are simply left out in the rain who do not want to participate in online or multiplayer activities and play Star Stable for the story.
I truly wish new updates for the main quest and less mini updates.

WORST GAME EVER

WORST GAME EVER - HUGE RIPOFF!!! EVERYTHING costs REAL money. $80 to become a lifetime member, which gives 100 star coins a week - what a joke. A horse costs thousands of star coins - which you can buy with real money. Which means every horse is about $60. Customer service is non-existent. Hope you never have problems or questions. Worst game ever!

Good game a few small glitches and bugs sometimes

Good game there is occasional bugs and glitches but nothing is ever game ruining or changing they’re only every minor or basically unnoticeable the game is very pricey but star rider doesn’t have to cost £50 you can also get monthly star rider for £5 and you still get the same experience and monthly allowance star coins are also expensive But you can also save up or do chores or stick to only buying them every few months in larger amounts like 2000 overall it’s a great game and I’ve made many friends including some I’ve known over 5 years now I am now level 20 and have no quests really except the new Wildwoods and souf hoof ones that give no more then 20 XP at a time I do enjoy training my horses and role playing sometimes even joining clubs and participating in events and quests I’ve played for about 5 and a half years now with a recent break for 1 year and only playing sometimes but I defiantly won’t quit the game any time soon final rating is amazingly great game
