Some Units Totally Inaccurate

I used Stelo for about a year, and was happy with it. I subscribed to buy 6 units at a time, and the last 6 units I received were totally inaccurate, reading 10-50 points high (compared to finger-stick blood glucose reading). Nothing had changed on my end from the past year....same food, same exercise, exact same medication. I filled out the on-line form to request replacement for 3 of the units, and was told they were not elegible for replacement. I sent 2 detailed e-mails to the company, but have received no replies. Subscription cancelled.

I bought Stelo 4 times and Lingo 4…

I bought Stelo 4 times and Lingo 4 times, by far Lingo is the most accurate than Stelo. A few days ago I used newly purchased Stelo and after 24 hours to I compared it with Keto-moto finger test, to my surprise it was the worst reading I have ever seen compared to my last Stelo sensor. The result of keto-mojo blood test and Stelo one hour after breakfast Stelo was 180 and Keto-moto finger test measured 130, off by 50 points. Do not buy Stelo, buy Lingo, I compared it several times before with Keto and it was only off by 10-15% as it was advertised.

Very inaccurate

Started a subscription after having used a Dexcom meter for sometime. The Stelo has been so inaccurate that I find the information useless. I am on my third sensor in my subscription. The first one got more accurate the last 3 days of its lifespan. The 2nd was at least 30 points off the majority of the time and so far the 3rd one has given me readings of below 70 for at least half of the 4 days I have been wearing it. I applied sensor to the back of the arm and have had great success with other brands. I have not had any issue with the sensor falling off but does loose signal rather frequently. Stelo is a bust and I do not recommend.

Customer service is great... device is not

Customer service is great.... however the sensor itself is WILDLY inaccurate compared to a finger poke. We're talking 60+ points.
It doesn't alert low or high readings; and is never in proper range compared to finger poke.
I do not recommend this device if you have hypoglycemia issues or actual diabetes.

Incomplete order with horrible customer service

I ordered a 3 month subscription of Stelo after trying it for a month and liking it. A 3 month subscription consists of 6 sensors. Dexcom sent me three. I contacted Dexcom through their chatbot, and asked them to complete the order by sending 3 more sensors. They sent me 2 more sensors. I contacted them again through the chatbot and asked them to send the remaining missing sensor, but the live agent who connected said that would be against their policy. After finally getting a phone number (888-267-9887) I talked on the phone with an agent who told me I had received a total of 7 sensors already. I continued to push for having the order completed, but she just said she would open a ticket to investigate. I've spent over an hour on chatbots and the phone trying to resolve this. Dexcom has so far insisted it would be against their policy to complete the order. My subscription is now canceled.

Completely regretted ordering from…

Completely regretted ordering from Stelo. I bought multiple sensors expecting reliable readings, but most of them either stopped working after a few days or never paired with the app at all. When I reached out for help, all I got were canned chatbot responses and no real humans to talk to — they won’t refund, won’t replace consistently, and seem to treat customer support like an afterthought. For an expensive product that’s supposed to monitor something as important as glucose, this level of unreliability and silence from support is unacceptable. Save your money and go with a company that actually stands behind what it sells.

I purchased a 3-month supply of CGMs

I purchased a 3-month supply of CGMs. The first sensor worked accurately, but the second was extremely inconsistent and consistently read much higher than my fingerstick blood glucose results.

I submitted an online complaint form and received an automated reply, but I never heard back from anyone. Later, I received a “How was our service?” email and completed it, again noting that my third CGM was also significantly inaccurate. Once again, I received only an automated response and no follow-up.

I attempted to request a refund for the remaining unused sensors, but the company does not accept returns. After waiting another month with no response, I tried the fourth CGM — and it too has been significantly off compared to fingerstick readings.

The lack of customer support and quality control is very disappointing. This company needs to improve both product reliability and customer service.

Wish I would’ve read the reviews horrible

Wish I would’ve read the reviews cause clearly they’re all going to be the same as what I’m about to write here. Started using the glucose monitor back in November wasn’t giving me accurate reads as I think because the needle wasn’t poking properly and I was bleeding at the same time pretty much all day and the tape was irritating me I had bruises.
Then my next order came, which I thought I had reviewed and said that I was having issues as you can’t get a hold of anyone. Then a new order just came for me so now I’m out another $300 and they won’t return it. The company is clearly a scam doesn’t work properly and Just takes your money and no one wants to deal with you.

JUNK PRODUCT, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

JUNK, JUNK, JUNK. Units worked fine for 6 months, then I had 6 months of trouble. Units wouldn’t pair or they would end early (they lasted from 1 hour to 10 days). Stelo would replace them but they too were unreliable. I cancelled my subscription but had 7 units left over. Switched to FREESTYLE LIBRE 3 and have been using them since December. No issues.
Decided to use up the remaining Stelo units. My wife downloaded the app and tried them. Two units would not pair. Last nite I tried one, it wouldn’t pair. I just spent about an hour and 1/2 texting with their Customer Service. Total waste of time. I’m pretty sure their mission is to Jerk you around and do nothing until you give up. They won’t refund your money but they will give you more units that probably won’t work.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH STELO

So disappointed

So disappointed. My sensor only lasted 6 days. I can’t find anything in the website about why it quit early and no contact info to see if I can get partial credit or refund for the missing week I paid for.

I’m on my 3rd cgm

I’m on my 3rd cgm, the first one worked fine but the other two have not been close. I tracked the readings for 4 hours today and here are the results.
7:00 AM. Cgm 181 - bgm 155
8:00 AM cgm 170 - bgm 141
9:00 Am cgm 168 - bgm 158
10:00AM cgm 191 - bgm 156
These readings are with 1 cup of black coffee and no food.
I have no faith in these CGM’s

ZERO customer support

ZERO customer support. Two sensors come in a box, and the 2nd sensor wouldn't pair with the app. I've spent an hour trying to reach them and there is NO PHONE NUMBER, NO reachable chat bot, No way to send them an email. They make it impossible to reach them.
Wow -- what are they thinking? I won't buy from them again and absolutely won't recommend them to friends.

Shyster company with sub-marginal customer service…

After a few hours the Stelo sensor phone connection failed and never reconnected. I asked for a refund or replacement but all I got was the run-around and delay. They required the ser no of the sensor which is on the package the item comes in, and I had tossed the package. I had the invoice and related which I gave them but they wouldn't take action without the specific ser no which i didn't have and no way of getting. I provided clear evidence that I had purchased the product and that it had failed, but no satisfactory response. Shyster company with sub-marginal customer service.

Faulty product

Where do I even begin with this company. Their product does not work. I use them for over 6 months. I never once got a correct reading on my glucose, monster. They would never offer to give me my money back for the wasted product either. They would only send out replacements, and they only did that to a certain point after 2 months they stopped giving me replacements for the ones that would not work. This company is extremely disrespectful to the people who are buying it. And they do not care that I my readings were off by 40 points saying I was way high when I was not high which scares me because I got some low readings, so how low were my was my actual blood sugar? They didn't care that that could have been life-threatening for me. Go with this company if you like playing chances with your life in wasting over three hundred dollars. They really need to be sued for that. For the most stress, they put me under. I really hope that this business goes out business and soon the last thing a diabetic people need is faulty products. It's hard enough to actually get these products, let alone have faulty ones.

Too many bugs and poor customer support for this to be a viable producet. Try a different brand with a better track record!

of the 8 sensors i purchased about half just didn't work. The company did replace them but it took an insane amount of time with customer support each time to go over the same problem (some of them just do not connect or lose connectivity within the first few days and never reconnects. Each time i had to do the same timeconsuming troubleshooting of uninstalling/reinstalling the app, turning bluetooth off and on. I found that it was always the sensor as a new sensor that worked had no trouble connecting the first time around and if the sensor didn't connect the first time, no amount of troubleshooting would fix it.

Lousy product Do not buy

I would have left 0 stars if possible. I am a type 2 diabetic with glucose well managed with mounjaro. I used dexcom 7 for over a year with GoodRx providing sufficient discount to make affordable. When stelo came out I tried it. It was worse than useless. Its reading showed me consistently 50points high. In addition to unreliable readings 4 pony nine sensors failed early. 2 lasting less than 5 days. I cancelled my stelo subscription the day before my 2nd batch shipped. It shipped anyway. I resumed my use of dexcom 7 sensors which work well. Because of Lilly’s no return policy. I have paid 600.00 to learn Stelo is aPOS product. Confident that the no refund policy implemented to prevent a t II dal wave if retires.

It is astounding how bad the Stelo has…

It is astounding how bad the Stelo has gotten. When I first started using it over a year ago, it was spot on accurate and I really trusted the numbers. The last several I have gotten have been wildly inaccurate. With the numbers often reporting over a hundred points higher than my actual number. Now all it does is create anxiety. I canceled my membership and I'm just using the last couple that I had. But i'm finding the results are just as off , so they're going in the trash. I don't know what happened to the company in the last year, but my guess is they started using different, perhaps cheaper parts and now have created an absolutely inferior product. Too bad! I have always found customer service helpful. But what is the point of replacing a bad sensor with another bad sensor? Waste of time and energy

can't depend on it and can't calibrate

I have used dexcom 7 and stelo over several years and since stelo can NOT be calibrated, I continue to be disappointed with the inaccurate readings versus finger stick readings. As others have noted the stelo reads 10 to 20 units high and prevents reliable measurements.
