I purchased a pair of shoes from this website and was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The shoes I received looked nothing like the photos advertised, completely different design, material, and overall quality. They felt cheap, uncomfortable, and poorly made, far from what was shown and described online.

When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful. Instead of offering a full refund for what was clearly false advertising, they only suggested a partial refund, expecting me to keep a product I didn’t order. Communication was slow and dismissive, and they refused to take responsibility.

This business clearly misleads customers with deceptive marketing and refuses to honor basic consumer rights. I strongly advise against buying from this store, it’s not worth the risk or the frustration.

I would give them a 0 but had to choose one star. These guys are a total scam. I ended up ordering twice from this website as before I received my first order I hadn't known they are a dodgy shop face posing as a Melbourne store but made in China. The quality of the shoes is beyond woeful, ill fitting, plastic materials and even a buckle fell off when trying one pair on. These scammers led me on to return all of the shoes at my expense to China saying they would give me a full refund when they received the shoes back unworn. They then sent them back to me and are claiming I had never even returned them! I had sent them the tracking number, paid for postage, boxed them up which is not how I received them originally. Every time I contact them, they send me the same email response. This whole ordeal spanned over 2 months. I am $600AUD out of pocket including more costs I outlayed to return the shoes and want to WARN EVERYONE not to become another victim of their scam. I am usually very aware of potential scammers and hence usually only buy Australian made but they caught me at a weak moment by creating urgency with the closing down sale of a family run Melbourne Boutique. While I should've been more diligent and did my research thoroughly, I hope that as many people who search their name and read this are warned in time and save their cash.

I have never received the 3 pairs of shoes I ordered. Shame I cannot rate minus 5 stars. Total rip off. I ordered them end of December last year. I've emailed them and they have replied saying that they must have been lost in the post. But they have not replied to further emails. I ordered from them because the name is so close to a trusted company that I have used a few times. The added T is what tricked me.

The shoes I purchased looked nothing like the shoes pictured on the site, I paid $60 for shoes that look like Kmart $10 specials. Different colour, different material and overall just poorly made. Not to mention they smell weird.
In addition I was refused a refund, unless I pay for postage back to China! The website is misleading stating they are Melbourne based, and the company is owned by an elderly couple who are retiring and closing the company down.
Basically I gave up trying to negotiate with the company. I have since seen I am not the only one who has had the same experience.

I don't like to post a negative review, but I am disappointed with my purchase - should not have clicked on the FB link.. I measured feet before ordering and two out of four shoes were great. The other two that didn't fit were just too narrow. Anyway, for $120 purchase, it is $50 to return the shoes that don't fit and they offered a 10% refund just to keep them which is not my values. Please be careful as this is an expensive error for me.

This is a scam. Shoes sent were wrong size and the poorest quality i've ever seen. I returned by address provided and they never registered collection despite sending correctly and multiple follow ups where they led me along for their ride of lies.

Joining the other reviewers that this is a scam. I have submitted a report to the National Anti-Scam Centre's Scamwatch Service. Arrived late, poor quality and wrong size, they refuse to refund me despite multiple demands to receive a refund. Do not order on that website, and it might help if more people submit reports to ScamWatch.

This is a total scam. The "shoes" delivered are not functional and only from a distance look like wearable shoes. Total rip off.
PS the story line of retiring owners Is FAKE.

Scam, not a Melbourne company closing down. Never received a confirmation email after payment. Shoes came in food style snap lock bags. Sizing was very wrong. Came in multiple shipments. Still missing a pair...who knows it may turn up. Quality is terrible, definatley not orthopaedic quality as advertised. Kmart shoes are better quality. No response re: wrong sizes and wanting a return & refund. We where silly enough to have brought 5x pairs in total for the family.
Do a YouTube search also they have videos about this scam. Lesson learnt, sometimes some things are too good to be true and always look for reviews in these times.

Unfortunately, I made the same mistake as everyone else. Dodgy rip-offs. So disappointing to receive these today, weeks after ordering.

Seems I should have read the reviews too! Sizing was nowhere near my actual size. I think they just picked a random pair and whacked my size sticker on the bag the shoes were in. Chemical smell was strong coming off the shoes when I opened the bag. And like everyone else, can't get a reply to email to get the return address however knowing the return address in China will cost more in freight to return at my own expense than the shoes I have been ripped off for. I need to take this as a lesson I guess.

I ordered 4 pairs of shoes from this dodgy site. The shoes turned up delivered from China approx 3 weeks later, however Stepora claim to be Melbourne based. The shoes are cheap knock offs, not even in shoe boxes. Definitely not the same shoes as was in the pictures. Not the same colours, or materials either. I could have gotten better quality from spend-less. I'm not sure what to do here with regardsto getting my money back. I have read of other people's experiences with attempting return and refund with no success. I will start with Australian Consumer Affairs and I recommend others do too if they have been robbed by this mob. AVOID - DON'T BUY FROM STEPORA and REPORT!

Received boots and they are definitely not what was pictured in their advert. Totally not the same boots, They are a cheap knockoff, very bad quality, not even the colour advertised. Try and put them on, have no hope past your ankle. A total scam and waste of money.

Horrendous experience. Bought 2 pairs of 'orthotic' shoes. Extremely poor quality. Better shoes on Temu for $10 and they have a free returns policy. Could not get a full refund. Kept offering a partial refund of up to 60%. They keep the other 40% of $128 and I still ahve no shoes. Said to return them at my expense, but enver provided the address. Tried to scre me out of returning them saying it would cost 40 Euros or more so best to keep them. They are rubbish shoes. Emailed repeatedly and my email was blocked or sent to a scam website. Impossible to get a refund. Waste of money. SCAM SCAM SCAM. AVOID

Do not buy from this company. They falsely present themselves as being based in Melbourne, but in reality, all operations—including returns—are handled from China.

The product I received was not as advertised—cheaply made, poor quality, and nothing like the photos or description. Completely unusable and wearable. When I contacted them for a refund, they refused to cover return shipping and told me I’d need to send it back to China at my own cost, which would be more expensive than the product itself.
This is a blatant attempt to trap customers into keeping subpar products.

So many of these ‘we have to close our business down’ scams now!! Lucky I caught on before I placed my order when I noticed a pair of shoes that were a stock image I’d seen on Temu!!! Do not purchase from this fraudulent company.

I wish I’d seen these reviews before I purchased from this total scam of a company that literally stole $69 from me. The boots that took months to arrive (from China not Melbourne as per website) were literally nothing like what I ordered. I can’t even put them on. Wrong size, colour, style… everything! It is illegal and I will be taking it further. Luckily I have legal connections so this scam company is going DOWN!

Stay away. Total scam. Like everyone else I waited weeks for these boots to come and when they arrived they came in a plastic bag, looked nothing like the vintage boots I ordered from the website, wrong material and wrong colour. Totally different boots to what is displayed on their website. They stink of cheap plastic. Obviously trying to return them but I’m not expecting to have any luck with that.
